Yola – Three men, who trekked to Yola in honour of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, are now stranded in Yola. The men, Salihu Jibrin, Aliyu Adamu and Abubakar Suleiman, who spoke to newsmen Saturday in Yola, said since their arrival they were unable to see their mentor, Atiku. They said all they needed was to see Atiku or his representatives to deliver their messages and go back to their various destinations. “I trekked for 38 days all the way from Lagos to Yola to see Atiku in view of his role over APC victory in the general election but up to now I was unable to see him. “I am now stranded with no money to go back; at times I sleep in motor park or squat with good Samaritans,” Jibrin said . Adamu, who rode bicycle from Kaduna to Yola, said he spent eight days on the way. “I want to thank the Secretary, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Adamawa Council, Mr Baba Zare, who had been assisting me since arrival to cope with the difficult situation I found myself. “I want to meet Atiku before finding my way back to Kaduna,” Adamu said. On his part, Suleiman, who trekked from Shelleng town, Adamawa, to Yola said he had been squatting from one relation to the other while waiting for an opportunity to see Atiku before going back home. The few times I have seen a Bughatti in Abuja, it is always a red colour and I believe that is what I am also seeing in this picture. Conclusion: There is only one Veyron Bughatti in Abuja. |
donphilopus:You missed it son. Your analysis was good until you said pdp are the biggest losers for not nominating one of their own. PDP senators are not clueless like you think. There was no way a PDP man will become the President since they are minority in the house. If they had nominated one of their own for the presidency, the few APC members would have rejected it and fought tooth and nail. There would have be serious fracas by now even worse than the locking out of Tambuwal. |
Hmmnn! It is going to be interesting. This 8th assembly will be filled with intrigues. APC can't impeach Saraki because that will create room for PDP to be the senate president in Ekweremadu. If they must impeach, it will be both President and deputy. Even at that, they won't get 2/3 because PDP will not want their own to go because they won't get deputy in another election. The only way is through the court which in a way, is easily controlled by the presidency or money to entice some greedy elements. More Judas! We might just see some funny arithmetic from this senate set. |
kilode100:Your picture says it all. |
What is he doing with that big market women calculator on his table? Oh! to calculate the amount of money to steal from tax payers. |

As for me, I have learnt my lessons with close friends. Hence, I have resolved not to lend money again. I also learnt from my dad how some close friends refused to pay him close to 6 million. My strategy is this, if you come close to me and I really see that you are in need of the money, I don't lend you. If you ask me to borrow you 100k, the best I can do is to dash you 10-15k depending on how free I am with cash that period. I will give u the little I can part with, without return. But borrow, no way. |
