Unfortunately, the info on the Consulate's website remains the same - student visa appointment booked out for winter semester.
I encourage all that are affected by this development not to give up on their dreams. Delay is not denial. All things work for the good of those that love God.

1) i want to use my waec certificate as a biographical old document since it is more than five years and there are some of my details on it. Is this allowed?
2) has anyone used paypal in funding his account coz i want to use it and send some money and some one will help me pay in to my account. I think is cheaper that way.

Let me answer the first question, school documents can't be used as a biographical old document according to Mr paulinus. However, that requirement is not really of much importance from my own experience. But if you can lay hands on such, then do so. Better safe than sorry.

They are obviously not the same, FedEx Apapa charges #850, and all others in Lagos obtained theirs around 1k and that served the purpose.

The checklist for student visa stated WAEC certificate but, I haven't gotten my original WAEC certificate because of some issues in my sec. school. It's the statement of results and computer printout that I have been using since then. Will such be acceptable to the embassy?

Resend the email within working hours That's what I did after one full day of not hearing from them. I got a date after sending the second email within a few hours

Hi Bro. you can book a date with the Furtwangen letter and if another admission letter arrives before your interview then attend the interview with your new admission letter. But maybe you should inform the embassy first before showing up with the new admission letter. I did this in 2015 and had no problems whatsoever. I even attended the interview with one international passport but cos that passport had only 1 more year before getting expired, I applied for a fresh international passport and got my visa from the embassy with the new one, although I also mailed them about this beforehand and explained why I decided to get a new passport and they raised no objection. I hope a lot of people who have similar questions can gain something from this.

Did you say that you had to apply for a fresh international passport because it was a year from expiry date? Mine is a year from expiry too and I'm going for interview soon. Is it really necessary to get a new one? Nigerian embassy no dey deutschland? Or does the German embassy require a passport with validity longer than the visa duration?

Hellooo House. German embassy gave me august 31st for my student visa interview and my school resumes sept 11. The interview date is too late. Is this a sign that embassy doesn't want to give me visa. Pls help .

O ye of little faith, it doesn't mean that they don't want to give you visa. It's the deadline for enrollment that they now put into consideration because there are already many in the queue including yours sincerely.

OP you made a lot of sense. Beating a child is not the really what will make him grow up into a responsible adult. I think the most important thing is being a role model as a parent and taking out time to teach and inculcate moral values into them. I personally detest violence and I don't do somethings that are wrong now as an adult because of beatings I received as a child but because my parents taught me that they are wrong and led by example.

What they are now considering is the deadline for enrollment. There are many in the queue already, so that 31st is the earliest available date

What I actually intended doing is not to go for interview with the block account document but to use it first to get appointment date while I await the sponsorship letter which I will present on the interview day as a proof of adequate financial resources. I understand that one can use any admission letter to book appointment date while waiting for the admission letter of the school one is actually interested in a bid to save time in situations where enrollment deadline is not too far away. I was hoping the same may be applicable here.

Happy democracy to you all, I just got my admission letter this afternoon and need a little clarification from the gurus in the house. I want to open a block account immediately and book my interview so as to beat the enrollment deadline (1st August to 24th September) but someone has promised me a sponsorship letter upon getting admission. And it's actually the sponsorship letter that I will go for the visa interview with, so my question is will it raise a red flag if I book interview with block account documents and come for the interview with sponsorship letter? According to the information available on the school website the Research Proposal forms part of Admission Documents and until after submission of the documents that if there's a Professor who has indicated interest to supervise the project that I can be considered for admission. Pls if you think there's anyone on this platform or elsewhere who can help me get what am seeking kindly assist. Once more,thanks.

Bro go back to the school website and carefully study the profiles of the faculty supervisors and learn their research interests. Look for their published works and read. Then contact each of them and suggest your own research topic which should be relevant to their works. When you get a favorable reply, you can then elaborate on your research proposal and apply. UNN does the same. Put the address of your office or a friend's and tell them to send it there. It will look official and they will send it. You'll probably need a copy of the transcript yourself for other things in future.
