His dream came true ![]() But it's actually a surprise to hear that one got charged with violation of gun laws in America. On a more serious note, acting in self defense in face of a perceived threat (though not real) shouldn't be seen as a crime. His perception was altered by sleep which is natural and secondly, he thought there was an imminent threat to his life and needed to defend himself instantly and not call 911. Assuming the threat is real, he wouldn't have the time to get Firearm Owners Identification Card before defending himself. |
balingaonline:Are you sure? Look at the rate it's giving me That's around #772/$

In the end, you'll see that there are just 2 tribes: the political elites and the poor masses. Every other categorization is false |
I once had a parasitic friend like that. He'll try to endear himself to one by doing you a little favour so that sense of gratitude wouldn't allow you refuse his extorting request later. I finally cut him off |

Kobojunkie:1. Jesus never for once declared the mosaic law null and void by reason of his coming. He made it clear that he came to fulfill it. All those curses that the law prescribed for sinners was nailed to his cross. Instead of executing sinners, they now receive mercy because he has died in thier stead and his blood now serves as a propitiation. That core essence of the law remains valid which is that men should fear and worship God alone. There's no dichotomy anywhere now. God's righteous principles are unchangeable His method of dealing with humans changed after the death of his son from strict justice to mercy. His principles of godly leadership remains the same and his children are the best qualified based on that. Lastly, take your time and read about the Armenian genocide. That's the consequence of naive Christians abandoning Christ's advice to occupy till he returns and leaving leadership positions for peoples that will wipe them out once they're in charge of all the armed forces |
Kobojunkie:I'd appreciate if you would be more civil in your choice of words as person that professes knowledge of the scriptures. But back to the point, I'll try to help you see reasons why you shouldn't continue holding to that misconception that'll potentially limit your ability to influence your generation positively. Firstly, God of the old testament is still the God of new testament. Jesus clearly stated that he didn't come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. So when God used righteous leaders like David, Joseph and the Esther we talked to fulfill his purpose in those days, it's very much in order then as it is today. After God humbled Nebuchadnezzar, he confessed with his mouth that political power belongs to God and he is the one that gives it to whoever it pleases and his children is not excluded. However, we as Christians recognise the fact that we are being prepared for the kingdom of God that is yet to come but doesn't mean that we have to deprive ourselves of the right exercise influence as leaders in our segment of time while we wait. God's principles never change and his idea is that leadership positions should be occupied by godly men both now and then |
Kobojunkie:We are the salt and light of the world (Matthew 5:13). We are meant to be an example to others in all spheres of human endeavour, including politics. Righteous people that occupied leadership positions shape the world politics and ensure that there's fairness and justice. Imagine if Esther wasn't a queen in her own days, the Jewish race would have been exterminated and there would be no Jesus not to talk of Christianity. If the earth is the Lord's and it's fullness, who should be exercising authority here, his children or others? |
Kobojunkie:What exactly are we arguing over? That Christians shouldn't participate in politics? Your point is that based on this particular verses I posted below that we shouldn't, right? But Jesus called them to Himself and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles have absolute power and Lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority over them [tyrannizing them]. It is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your [willing and humble] slave; Matthew 20:25-27 AMP https://bible.com/bible/1588/mat.20.25-27.AMP From the part I bolded, you can see that he means that when we have any leadership position, we should use it to serve humanity just like he did. There's nothing confusing here. |
Kobojunkie:The verses you referred to is actually where Jesus admonished the sons of Zebedee that was seeking for special positions in God's kingdom to emulate His servant leadership style and not seek to lord over there followers like unbelievers. It doesn't mean we shouldn't participate in politics. When the righteous is on the throne, the people rejoices. Daniel, Joseph, Esther, Mordecai were politicians and children of God too |
VawulenceProMax:Let's assume that this your assertion is true, then that means that the rise of BTC and other coins is the cause of Naira depreciation. We all know the second assumption is false. Naira depreciation is caused by the terrible economic policies of this government and action of economics saboteurs. |
Luna saga didn't cause a similar strengthening of the naira. Explain how the FTX crash led to this |

The graph illustrates the difference in the rate of infidelity between men and women which tends to increase as they grow older. Generally, more men than women cheat but among young couples(18 - 29yrs), women have a slightly higher cheating rate. This lead reverses after the first few years, gradually increase and finally peak at 80+ years at which point 4times more men than women indulge in extramarital affairs. Other factors that correlate positively with infidelity include belonging to African racial group, college education only, Democratic political leaning and growing up in a broken home. Conversely, people that attend services frequently, Republicans, younger couples and Hispanics have less tendency to cheat on their partners |

OP you presented few anecdotal evidences to back your theory which is quite insufficient giving that we are now living in jet and computer age and not in Socrates or Pluto era. However, I guess it shouldn't be totally dismissed as fallacy. You need to collect the data of many more couples to increase the statistical power. Likewise many confounding factors like genetics, environment, nutrition etc needs to be ruled |
Ara21:It's called carbon dating They measure the quantities of different carbon isotopes Since the rate of decay is constant and known, they can calculate the time the skeleton was formed. Now, do you love science? |
Is it that there's no more ground where they can test it or they just want to make it look like their own technology is more advanced than Tesla's? RIP to the dead anyway. My country will start producing pencil in few years time. It's still something |
Peacecore:You think the bolded is a good thing? We're called to be followers of Jesus who is the author and the finisher of our faith. It's a pity that you now brag that Mbaka succeeded in indoctrinating the flock he was entrusted with and arrogating to himself the position of God in their lives. |
Balogunodua:The nigga has been a victim of racism, so he now sees everything as such |
Fvckyouall:Catfish pepper soup with red wine |
OP, I know exactly the drug you are looking for. It's used in countries where euthanasia is legal to help terminal ill patients go over to the other side. But what you need right now is Jesus Hell is hotter than naija, you better stay here and struggle with us. Most of us are not finding life that easy too |
![]() Some people here reminds me of the white people that supports the killing of unborn babies but make a huge fuss when an animal is kicked. Animals are meant to be killed to serve as food or to protect humans from harm. People that do that are not murderous but brave. And people that eat meat and see those that kill animals as monsters have flawed reasoning |

[quote author=xtylyn post=111456074][/quote]The process is fairly straightforward, and here is it: 1. Order for WES evaluation 2. Go back to your university and request for your transcript to be sent to WES 3. Use that opportunity to get letter of authenticity from HOD of your department 4. When the WES evaluation and the letter is ready, register for the certification exam 5. Check the recommended textbooks and google them, you'll definitely see where to download them free even if it's not the current edition. It can still serve the purpose 6. When you have read well down 'A concise review of clinical laboratory science' for revisions 7. Book your exam date, there's a Pearson Vue center at Ikeja where you can take it. Best of luck |
Adsexpert:If you feel any pang of conscience while doing something, then you are not being true to yourself no matter how you try to deny it. Giving in to that that usually tempt you but always left you feeling empty or void especially when you see people that successful and consistently resisted the same temptation is not being your true self. Your true self is that control over fleshly desires you envy in the so called holier than thou people. That's who your creator made you to be. That's the only thing that can fill the void.... aligning your life with the purpose of your maker. Without the government laws there will be total chaos. In fact the laws is one of the bedrocks of modern civilization. Remove it, and we are back to the stone age. The spiritual laws were given by Jesus Christ who lived a perfect life and told us to follow his example. The essence of the laws is even to protect you not to cage you. Without the imbibing of the golden rule principles by some people, humans would have gone into extinction by now. |
DannyXpress:I understand how you feel because I have been there. Basically, its the contrast between your life and that of some people who you deem perfect that makes you uncomfortable. You prefer the company of those that doesn't appear holier than you because it doesn't put on you the burden of making the changes your conscience is pushing you to do. Probably, some immature Christians have given you the wrong idea of what perfection means and that's seems to be an impossible task. Well, the goodnews is that we are all saved by grace and perfection is possible by grace as well. And lastly, you'll be judged according to the scriptural requirements not the standard of people that seems holier than thou. |
Nope I nope, it's a subtle indicator that your mind has been bruised by racial discrimination. From the victim's lens, you see it that the shop owner kept it there specifically for you "the monkey" ![]() |
Let me add the link to the source for op https://sec.gov.ng/activities-of-finafrica-investment-limited-chinmark-group/ I know a fraud when I see it and the way that nigga, Marksman goes about playing to the gallery in the name of philanthropy and hiring fine girls as marketing agents looks suspicious |
Never did the bible mention that Adam was given any authority other than to name animals never did it mention that he was anything other than a "soul" Then God said, “Let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness]; and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, and over the entire earth, and over everything that creeps and crawls on the earth.” Gen 1:26 AMP http://bible.com/1588/gen.1.26.AMP Adam then sinned and lost the authority, so Jesus was sent to recover it from the usurper, devil. Hope that helps |
