When you get to CMS (biometric)
Enter Ajah and drop at the last busstop (ilaje)
When you drop, cross to the other side and ask people


For medicals at Qlife

Take a bus going to eko hotel from CMS
Drop at eko hotel roundabout
You'll see some white small bus(korope)
Tell them you're going to Q)life or family clinic they'll drop you at the junction of the hHospital
You'll just walk down and locate the place

Medicals is valid for a year. So I think it’s due for you to do another.

Yes dear. You will be given a slip from the clinic, the slip is proof that you have done your medicals.... So you will send that via Webform to Nairobi and request that they update the document to your application. You can send a mail as well.

I just did my upfront medicals after submission, but it hasn’t been sent to Ircc yet. Maybe ircc is about to send me a medical request. That would explain the reason for that update. Not exactly sure tho

From what I’ve seen here. That’s what it could mean.

But I logged into my account today, there is a column “submitted”, mine changed to Application/profile updated. When I checked,
My Medical result is now been reviewed. I logged out and logged back in, the status went back to “submitted” but my application was actually updated. Maybe some people get actual updates but don’t notice it. My 2 cents

Just got an email from Lagos office that my receipt has been updated. I guess Lagos is now handling online applications.

Thank you very much for pointing this out. How can someone pay for the services of a “supposed” immigration lawyer... and said lawyer could not do the simple thing of checking their documents. What exactly was the lawyer paid for?!? Because all these could have been avoided from the very beginning. If a person is employed, those are basic documents they are to provide. Let’s say the applicant made an oversight, was the lawyer not meant to point this out??
The truth is that nobody will care and be concerned about your application like you would. All these would have been avoided from the beginning. Imagine going to provide all those, especially the 3rd requirement within 15days. Such stress

Not sure, although it could be the case (as I did not read the SOP). But based on what I infer from his explanation, he omitted a vital document that provoked further curiosity from the VO. As a self-sponsor, one must show not only sufficient funds, but proof of sources of funds, their inflows and outflows, etc... He omitted his payslips (and judging by the additional request for employment letter, his employment letter too), but he can resolve that.

The VO launched the three-fold demands because he has concerns about his source of income. The whole accommodation and tuition ish would have been avoided if, from the start, he had included his payslips and a very good explanation for why money is constantly moved from his salary account to another personal account. (He didn't submit his salary account). Submitting his salary account from the start, along with his personal account, would have allayed possible suspicions, since the VO would be able to study both bank statements and come to an understanding that moneys were indeed transferred from one account to the other.

It is quite possible that the VO has doubts that the applicant is truly working for the company stated and earns salaries from the company. I want to believe the applicant is telling the truth. Therefore, with all necessary documents, it can be rectified

But he has a good lawyer (since he is a licensed immigration lawyer, I want to believe). So I'm sure he's in safe hands.

As an adviser, however, I think your lawyer has done a poor job so far. Some documents are very imperative when it comes to Visa application, and your advisor committed a grave oversight.

(Which brings me to the question: Can a licensed immigration lawyer be this inept, or is there something you are not saying?)

Is verve card used for international payments? Your best bet is to use a MasterCard.

Good people, my school fees receipt came after I had submitted my application should I do a webform to submit it now, or do I wait and do it after my upfront medical, booked for medicals first week of June as I don’t want to have a reason to come back to Lagos.

Send it via a webform please. There’s no need to wait. Give IRCC every supporting document you can lay your hands on, so you don’t delay yourself.

I am to upload my IELTS result to my application but British council has refused to send the soft copy and they are not receiving visitors in their office because I wanted to go and pick up.

They are saying a dispatch will bring it to my house. I used BC because they had flexible and close test dates, please from you guy's experience does it usually take long to have your IELTS result couriered to you? the deadline for my upload is May 30th.

I will appreciate any advise i can get. Many thanks

At this point, I think it will be best if you order for your GCM note, so you can know the status of your application. If they wanted you to provide IELTS result, you would have been asked to.

IRCC sent me a “request letter” after my biometrics.

For those of us that have submitted our application with normal bank statement and IELTS result with 7.5 score
For over a month now are we still going to be getting an NSE request or our application is considered as normal process already

To be considered for NSE, you need to have 30,000CAD. If your statement and tuition payment is up to that amount, you will be asked to provide mybankstatement. If not; then that means your application will be processed via regular route.

Based on my own experience, I wrote the CBT on the 17th April,saw my online result on the 23rd and got the hard copy dispatched to me by Monday the 25th

I tried and I couldn't login today as well,
Send an email to VFS office to book your appointment.
Specify that you are unable to login, hence unable to confirm available dates, so they should assist with available dates... give a date range.

Really sorry about this. September is too near, that’s a lot of pressure to put on yourself.

I would suggest you go for January’s entry, by Gods grace you’ll get a PPR for that. All the best

It depends on you. Would you like to observe that internship program? I think you should go for it. You’ll gain the experience and get a temporary work visa for the co-op program.

I think it’s inclusive o. Because I received the NSE request and I have like 26k handy, after payment of my first semester tuition fee.
