I received such call from a Canadian number some months back. I told the individual that I do not need any help and I went further to block the number. That singular experience made me very weary of Nairalanders that I had shared my mobile number with. ogunleyesijibomi: Hello house.. pls this number +1 (613) 265-1300 called me on what's app four months ago telling me he assist applicant in several ways and was requesting money from me.. this evening he has called me with hidden number telling me.to remove my post I posted to alert other nairaland member.
Why did he call me few months ago to request.for money ? Why calling with hidden number?..
All members of naira land should keep off from this number +1 (613) 265-1300 for any assistance.. be vigilant For any assistant ask Mr Frank or any genuine nairaland member. Thanks |

The schools must even be tired of this deferment of a thing, no wonder most are now kicking against it. IRCC’s delay disrupts everyone’s plans, I mean I took study leave and my program is full time…. I applied June 12th, we will get our approvals really soon. Ikechi17: Good morning house , I submitted my application on the 3rd of June 2021 done biometric and upfront medical and it's has been updated ,and yet no reply till now . My school starts on the 9th of September , and I have until 15th September to ask for refund and withdrawal. my program can't be done offline and there is no deferment. Please what should I do if I don't get a decision before 15th September . |

Amennn! I shall be among the first people to testify on this thread. My PPR is here already makano: “Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it.” Mark 11:23
“Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24
To all TRV hopefuls, this Part 20 shall rain approval testimonies all through in JESUS NAME. AMEN...
This Part 20 shall not pass you by, if you believe, let your Amen show it...

Emmasonic4me: Please is there any phone number one can call to get across to IRCC? As a reputable government institution, shouldn't they have a valid phone number to reach them on? Why has nobody mentioned the phone call as an alternative to reach them?
They are not responding to webform, will not acknowledge receipt of documents sent via webform and will not respond to enquiries on applications. If you sent too many mails, they will just dash you a generic response. This is becoming frustrating to say the least. I need to call them on phone.

Hahaha But it is not right now. What is the essence of dropping timelines if people wouldn't assist? Those refused can as well keep their timelines to themselves and just wait for the GCMs alone. Even the GCMs are subject to analysis. He was just quick to attack and it's not like he renders any help here oo. Omiinii: Lmao why so sensitive ... |

Legacyedition: It is not advisable to analyse refusals without GCMS notes showing the real refusal reasons.
It will be good if we can all desist from this. It is because of people like you that others no longer give their opinions here. First response should never be to attack… Certainly the GCMs notes are to be requested to ultimately tackle refusal reasons, that is common knowledge. But my writeup above was inferred from the information provided by the moniker. Is it not advisable for all angles to be critically looked at? Do better next time |

Omo! You have a fully paid scholarship now… but It is clear that that the VO does not see your Employer as a suitable sponsor. You may have been assessed based on your own finance. It is always more believable for your sponsor to be an immediate family member such as your Parents or siblings. Please which course are you going for? You need to demonstrate that your course of study is in high demand in your sector and valuable to the growth of the Nigerian economy. You have enough home ties to Nigeria o. Maybe you just need to go the extra mile. Sigh Your Mum gave you a deed gift, let her write a support letter as well. Show evidence of what she does…. Her business or employment. If she’s retired, show her retirement letter and last promotion letter. Did you get a letter of introduction from your employer and a study leave? If you didn’t, you can get these as well. I may be wrong but another concern I see here is that you’re married and you have dependents… Your statement needs to show that you have enough to take care of your family in Nigeria for the duration of your studies and also have sufficient to support yourself. You may be needing more funds. Please gurus in the house should also contribute here. Refusals can be really hard and depressing, but I’m sure you’ll definitely get your visa on your next attempt. God will orchestrate it to happen. Amen OlaqR: Hi everyone, my application got refused yesterday and I would like to share my timeline at least I might get someone who will point out errors from my application and others can learn from it.

Hello Emeka, was it through webform that you asked for an update? EmeeNaka: I don't understand what you mean by stories that touches. How is "stories that touches" connected to Status Update from MP? When did this rule begin? MP assisted me to get update on June 13, then helped me again to obtain update on August 3. After that, I personally Requested for update from IRCC on Aug 8,and they sent it on Aug 9. |

**hugs** Teenie19: Yes what you you said is correct. Maybe I didn’t word my reply properly. What I meant to say is that if her application is still pending, then she can still provide new LOA, however once it is approved then it is too late for any changes to LOA. ( change to school can only be done in Canada) Sorry for any confusion! |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by ritzzybaron: 8:50am On Aug 17, 2021 |
That’s not true Teenie. The moniker will be asked to apply again. That is going through the whole process again…. When one changes schools from outside Canada, the old application is no longer valid….. Which will be demoralizing and more stressful. Teenie19: When you receive a new LOA from the new school, send the new LOA to IRCC via webform. At that point, you can inform them about the reason why you had to apply to a new school. Basically, the thing is if your application is approved with the old LOA, they expect you to go to the same school. So try to let them know as soon as you have a new LOA, so they can update your info on their end.. |

Asin enh! Rolly you have said it all. We have made such commitment with this Visa application and can almost not have any options on standby. With the fees I’ve paid, I can’t even think of going somewhere else like the UK. I took study leave from work o, that starts early next month. With my timetable… it’s not even possible to have a full time job and study. If we are in Canada, we would have been working part-time along side studies and be saving up more money. Sometimes I just get angry for nothing but only me knows what is wrong with me. IRCC better comes through ASAP. RollyA: That’s where I feel I fault their processes. Those ones with intakes that have no close intake deferral should also be prioritized. But there’s no way they can also know if they aren’t even checking the applications.
I have lost 2 job offers because I was waiting and I didn’t want to resume a new place and leave them stranded in 2 months because I want to travel. I also can’t consider UK cos I have paid over 10m in tuition to Canada and I can’t begin the process without withdrawing that.
It is well… na we Dey find something |

Send a webform to IRCC and plead with them to release your file to the GCM team…. Make it a detailed explanation. Send to Nairobi and london. In my case I sent webforms and emails….. that same night my GCM notes dropped. Gcmnotes.com said they received my file that night from IRCC. JayEjabz: Hello everyone, please has anyone used applygcms.com to request for their gcms notes? This is 50days now and they have refused to send my notes or give a good explanation only saying Ircc hasn't sent it to them. Im beginning to doubt if they are genuine or not. Has anyone experienced such delay in getting their notes? Im so worried. |

Really sorry about this. As we have seen on this thread, Uncles sponsorship is not really advisable as it is better for primary family members such as your Parents or siblings to sponsor you. If you are a matured applicant, you will need to provide your own statement. Your sponsor needs to demonstrate his commitment to sponsoring you by either paying for your fees or making a transfer to you for your living expenses. You need to demonstrate that funds are available for the duration of your studies. You need to demonstrate that you have strong assets and ties back home. Order for your GCM notes and strategize on the best way to re-package your application and refire. You can seek the help of the gurus to assist as well. This is a minor setback, you will testify soon. Olaapaps: Omo big L Hurst like hell but then we thank God Pls i need advice on how to move on soo I can refire My uncle in US is sponsoring me and his account is grit but I dint submit any of my own account details Pls how can I tackle this flimsy excuse I don’t mean to be the bearer of bad news
