These women are FAR more organised than we the fish farmers.. And the painful part of it all is that majority of fish farmers are literate while the fish sellers are illiterate.. But the difference is the ONE voice they have and its helping them a great deal..

I have a fish seller that is a very good friend of mine and she tells me majority of the things they do.. She told one time that if a fish seller in their association doesn't build her own house within three years of being a fish seller then the person will be questioned..

So my people u can see why these market women syphon the gullible fish farmers.. Its so painfull each time I see it happen.. Fish farmers must also unite together irrespective of ur locality to curb the menace of these so called "iya eja"

That is why I keep on shouting, telling the untold, training and advising fish farmers not to fall prey by having a sound knowledge on fish farming for sustainable profit, growth and what have u..

When we call for trainings its for the good of the trainee.. I can't say what I have been told by people who attend my training, their experiences, money and time wasted etc.. And I weep for how many more farmers out there passing through the same predicament we don't know of..

Its time we take things serious and get knowledge..

How are you and your family? Please I need your advise as regards DURANTE FEEDS. I want to know if you have any experience about it and whats your take on it?
I am also asking my fellow fishfarmers on board.

excelsiorfarm: simply they have no fund to fuel continuously, it has a high ROI if well managed, for a good one initial capital outlay is much, i have seen some too, but most cases it is wise to just use concrete tanks and do dripping or flow thru and be patient, presently am thinking of experimenting with aquaponics when i get d details right,though they all boil down to electricity
