Aww. Miss her too. ![]() |
@TOPIC- They do? |
'Confused' is actually the word for most of them. A lot truly don't know the meaning of what they claim to be. In other words, a lot do not know who or what they truly are. Just as a lot of folks confuse objectivism with feminism, these confused lot confuse being non-religious with atheism, most of the time. |
Kolade9: Son |
And of cos I did say 'pretty global'. |
claremont: If your argument is that there is a global definition of morality, then I beg to differ. Even though I agree that human beings are innately born with the capacity to differentiate right from wrong, I believe our ability to implement these innate thoughts is determined by the culture where we grew up and the situation we find ourselves.So...if I understand you correctly, killing for the sake of survival automatically makes the performance of the action morally acceptable? Hehe. Claremont. |
slimyem: ...didn't know peeps are still using facebook....not to mention taking it serious...lolD mata taya me... |
...and in the absence of salient reasons, they always renege. If everyone had and carries through with their own perceptions of moral performances, then I doubt that we'd even be here discussing this...this.... mscheww. What, with the likes of Hussain Sadam and himself, having free reign to blast off your heads in the name of '.... war', I'm sure that a pretty global definition of morality will be a lullaby that croons you to sleep. |
Smh. You even want to discuss this. Smh. |
C'mon Roki! The adulation is intended for spice. But nah, my Hrithik isn't for general, so fall back, sis! ![]() Sharoukh is wonderful too. Great screen personality, really. But I heard he's not so great in real life. Something about evil ego and all. |
Maybe she's stalling to avoid appearing as desperate to jump into a relationship with you. Chances are she'll still say yes anyway, so chill aight. |
I'm like a collector of rock songs really. A friend once mentioned them so I decided to check them out. Your description of classical music pretty much covered the little that I know of them. I think of Heaven...and Earth whenever I listen to them. But again, they're kind of like opera rock, so I do not find them too bad. Another thing is that their names are usually difficult to pronounce. Maybe that's why i've not settled down to really enjoy them. |
True rockheads are metalbangers, don't let nobody tell you different. The louder, the catchier. From System of a Down to Chivelle to Metallica, Audioslave, Bullet for my Valentine...the topsy turvy world of it is ever so captivating. You don't even need to like the sound for you to love their good harsh vocals. Heck, you may not even be able to sing to them sometimes, because they aren't exactly joyous with the thought-blocking stringings and all. Buh in all, they're pretty powerful and symphonic stuff, that sear right through you anytime. Of cos, we do slow our rolls and take a step back down to earth with other sub genres, every once in a while BUT....just but. Yeah, I know about the Owls of ga'houl as I do know the Cocteau twins. I think they're pretty old and doubt that they still exist. I know just two of their hits though; Fifty-fifty Clown or something and Alice. Pretty nice stuff. And yeah, they're alternative rockers na. Or what d'you think? Which bands do you favour from classical? |

sauer: Na you sabi! Seriously though, you should see that movie. I bet you'd repent from Titanic, afterwards.I like them heavy, but yeah, fix you's supercool. An all-timer. Where did you hear about Counting Crows? Shrek, right? I'm guessing soundtracks, filter through to you too. |
sauer: I thought you'd be a fan of Nigerian comics. Their humour is the only one which supports your melodrama...and he knows their names...SMH. I'm not even gonna say too much. ![]() |
What a great way to escape. Picking a movie that only you have seen in this life. What, did you leave out your name as a character in it too? . Well done! You're not gonna get off that easy though. I'll check it out and get back to you. What's funny though, is that the characters in the Titanic did exhibit all these qualities. Comprehension...courage...determination....or are you being a coward about something, Sauer? Afraid to lose your head in some spiraling web of emotions? |
Actually, Titanic was finely knitted to make its viewers live through the eyes of the passengers, that were on board the historical ship. If anything, I'd say that it was intended to get us wounded, by our understanding a fragment of the 'pain' that they felt, when their loved ones went under. So how this becomes therapeutic again, I'd never understand. Well, you seem to know what you're talking about. You must have experienced its healing prowess once. ![]() And a lot of those comedies are shitty jor. The ones I find interesting, so far, are countable. Tell me your fav movie already, so I can nitpick as well and you can defend, in turn. ![]() |

ayobase: Rocky, u wanna expalain?I'd be glad to. Ok, now imagine singing 'for instance' along with 2face, when you don't know the entire lyrics of the song. You could hum your way past the parts that you don't know, but you'd be anxious in the subconscious, to get to the part that you actually know. So when you eventually get to that part, what do you imagine will happen? You'll get crazed...You'll shout it...You'll own it. ![]() |
Truth? A real relationship is about trust, honesty, understanding and companionship. People think that they must have those goose bumps and butterflies forever, which is very far from the truth. The truth is- Feelings fade. Yes they do! It really never gets better in a relationship. So if you're leaving him now, because you think that you don't 'feel anything' for him, be prepared to leave every other guy that you'll date, because feelings will always fade. Always, my dear. Just try and see if you've both got something to work with. At least, make attempt to strengthen the bond that had pulled you together in the first place. However, if after trying and you still are not getting even the tinniest fulfillment from the relationship, rather than pretend with him and hurt yourselves, do not hesitate to call it quits. |
Hehe. I know a lot wouldn't understand. Of cos, everyone is guilty. |
...and someone has got jokes. ![]() |
Peter gets pretty unfocused, is all. Superman's ok. It's just that he needs to learn how to actually squash his adversaries more often, if for no other reason, but to get new ones. I'm wearied of seeing Lex Luthor and Brainiac, reach for his head all the time. I get the Lex's part. He's human and a friend and all that, but Brainiac? What's his excuse, really? It'd be easier to choose a favorite movie if it's done categorically, but compressed, if I must, I'd say...Titanic...yeah. It is simply the most beautifully woven romantic cinematic masterpiece, that I have ever seen. You? I'm sure it's Sleeping Beauty, because you don't really like violence?...and football. ![]() |
My fav is Peter Parker though. I like his humility...even though his state of finance is very discomforting. . His allegiance at least, is to humanity and not only to some silly wife and company (talking about Tony Stark now). For games, I love Driver, The Sims, Onimusha, The Warriors and MGS. My bros indulge me. ![]() And yes, I have seen the dark knight rises. |
Then, there is Daredevil, the blind lawyer at daytime and the jumping blind lawyer at night. Why is his major weapon a stick again? Oh I forgot, he's blind. But who really defeats anyone that's armed with a pistol with nothing but a stick? Nonsense! Oh and he's got super reflexes too just so he can use his stick efficiently. Silly. And to think that his dispensable wife, Elektra, was killed right before his blind self, by Bullseye who's got no lick of superpower. Goes to show how 'very important' he is. Silly silly couple. |

Basketmouth? Gordons? or is it Gordon?

. His allegiance at least, is to humanity and not only to some silly wife and company (talking about Tony Stark now).
