Orikinla's pretty impressive today. . I really like this bit of your back biting;Orikinla: [i]My dear, your life is everybody's business, because when the cookie crumbles, and troubles come to you, you will need more than your two hands to pick up the pieces or even take your pills....because it reminds me of this piece I so love; No man is an island, entire of it self; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friends or of thine own were; Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore, never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee. |
SUPERNATURAL. |

koastar: Hahahahaha....you make me laugh at your ignorance. Who sent him the script? may be Mohammed sent him the scriptMy brother, it is enough to laugh about. I've never heard such nonsense in my life either. The 'Bible', which was the 'original' script was sent to Jesus, just so He could pencil in His own story too (of His life and afterlife), which then made it unoriginal, or what? MegaCrap! |
Girls dressing neatly and boys seeking girls' advice...I'm afraid I don't see the craziness anywhere. ![]() |
fluid26: It does not sound healthy to me. Ask her why she wants to hook up with someone you'd severed bonds with. This is like what I want to know. Has he, really? Severed bonds, that is? If not, why not? Why keep contact with an ex, if you can help it? I'd never understand this. |
Gosh, what's going on? Everything horrible seems to be happening at the same time. Bombings, shootings, accidents...I shudder at what Naija's fate would've been, had we not been up to a 160 million. |
Actually not all ppl you would identified as "delta-igbo" call themselves using those term. We only use those terms when they around other Igbo to help differentiate the state of origin. It is the same way you'll hear ppl say they are enugu, anambra, imo, etc but since all those state indigenous are predominantly igbo, there is no need to illustrate the ethnicity unlike delta state. A little unknown fact: SE igbos actually call us "delta-igbo" more than igbo people from delta state call themselves such
This. |

abiL: && don't listen to a few idiotsss on here that said you should have moved to the village before your uncle molested you. Your uncle shouldn't have petitioned you with sex. It's illegal and immoral. He used the fact that you have nobody to turn to, to take advantage of you. Which is totally wrong.AbiL, you misunderstand. The mere fact that it is immoral to demand se.x from his niece, isn't and wasn't enough to shield her, from suffering the ills of the predicament. The present situation could've been avoided, had she gone back to the villa, indeed. Poster, I just hope you'll stay strong. This is one of the times that I don't even know what to advise. Whether to abort, or keep a fetus created out of an incestuous conduct. #processing# |
Tanx u all, bt d truth is dat we feel our consience wud haunt us if we went bck on our promises. Everybody knws us 2geda, even family n frnds. Dey all see us as a happy couple.
Get married for all the right reasons, oga. If you're getting married because people expect you to, or for money or because you're great partners when you're not great friends, then you're doing it for all the wrong reasons. I'm sure the good ones include getting along, being great partners by supporting each other in all you do (not necessarily being agreeable all the time though), being great friends, and being in love, yes. Of cos, perfect marriages don't exist but a lot do have lots of positives. And that's only evident, when you marry for all the good reasons. Be careful with the decision you're thinking up here. |
Of cos, I can't be very comfortable. If you're not a great aunt, my sis or my mum, you are a potential Angelina Jolie, that I'd like to hack in two, if I had the strength of....whoever! Lol. The issue here isn't about trust, really. It's about temptation and stumbling blocks. It's about stuff that evolve, when certain bonds of emotions are developed between a redblooded heterosexual male and female through friendship. In as much as I'd love to dial-back the paranoia and keep a close watch on an 'enemy', as a man who truly loves and respects me wouldn't mind bringing his female friends around me, I'd set boundaries. And that would include not sharing the same roof in my absence, for too long any period. Of cos, nothing might be going on between your gurl and him right now. But again, isn't that always the case, before something actually begins to happen? |
...the antioxidants and 'co'...urgggh |
What's there not to understand? I meant you always go on your way meekly and never made insulting remarks. I used to rate you good for tolerance here. And now all of this is happening and you couldn't waste a minute more to get back at 'some people' that got you pissed from before? C'mon, women are inclined to hold grudges more, not the other way round. If you've got something against anyone on a thread, settle it right there. Don't bring no baggage to some other thread, getting people confused and all. |
Seriously Dailynews bro, you got me all confused. I've never known you to be one who makes personal remarks at all about others. C'mon, you're a 'man', I suppose. Men don't throw such side jabs na. |
C'mon girly, there is nothing to it. They'll be fine. |
Who are we really, to change the meaning of a word the Europeans taught us? |
I want to pick the girl, so I can have both. Both are intrinsic for my well being. #Fact# |
HiiiPower: You proved me right, after all!Aww, booboo...like I'm supposed to hand you a candy for being so insolent? You are who you attract, boo boo. Nigerian girls will only continue to deal a poor hand to you, because you believe that they will. Stop the insolence and work on yourself. Only then will you attract the kind of people you want. |
You berra set your priorities right and wish him, whatever will make him happy. You think masters abroad, will miraculously spin good jobs your way right? . You go ahead and see for yourself. If you do not feel like his plans for the future, will accomodate yours, and you cannot have it another way, then it's a no-brainer that you're incompatible, and both of you should go your seperate ways. |
OP- Whatever. Apart from being an insolent butt, what are you again, that we all must try to convince? |
I've been over this and I must say that I'm confused myself. If the supposed obssession started only after rendering the services she did, then something important, which your sis had piloted, prolly took place at the funeral. Maybe your sis had done well to police the fried chicken wings that could have been tucked away by her father's people. Or she's simply impressed about your sis not stealing some for herself, as a lot of Naija caterers are hallmarked with that ink, and probably wants to hook her up with more clients, who knows... If her curiosity wasn't piqued after the event though, then I'd say that she wants to get more acquainted with her friend's fam. And it wouldn't be such an out-of-the-ordinary thing to do. Of cos, I may be wrong. |
She's got beautiful lips. |
Wow. |
Continue calling. She just mightn't be in any relationship. [s]Besides, all the good ones are already taken, most of the time, so....I nor de oo.[/s] ![]() |
onatisi: you are simply sugar coating the bitter pill, why dont u just tell her the truth ,shikenaOnatisi mennn, I tire for your matter. D'you always want to tell the Op's story better than the Op? Why can't you just accept that Pete Edochie is the only badt guy in the last Naija movie you saw? Must there be Liz Benson, standing somewhere behind the camera as the other boss? It isn't out of place for people of class and standards to give each other gifts that befit their standards, so it'd be odd to think that a car as gift is very outrageous. However, if the Op didn't find gifting this to her guy as trivial even a bit, I pretty much doubt that she'd have had a sleepless night enough to start a thread over this. She wants to make an impression, alright. The question in point now is, how far should she go in doing it and WHY? I'm sure that a lot of philantrophists could afford to bring plenty of fresh water to all the thirsty people of the droughty Sudan, but I know that they don't. As i do know that it isn't because they do 'not care'. |
Only two months? It's not so bad na. It's all in your head, sweery. Get yourself psyched, to move on already. |
I'm sure that there are other ways to please him without going overboard with expenses. It just is not advisable to spend too much on a boyfriend/gurlfriend who's not very serious with you. It is even risky on the flip side, but I guess I can half-support it if you were engaged. Your wanting to get him awed with an expensive gift isn't outrageous, no. And by God, he'd be. The question however is, 'for how long'? |
Hehe. C'mon, don't play like you don't know that it colors the scene. Deny all you want, but y'all always expect some kind of mehler or something whenever you hold out that ring. Else, you'd only do something like throw it at her to catch like a ball, when you're rushing off to work or leave it at the foyer and phone her up about it later on. Like you're doing her a favour, you do want to see some kind of reaction. And what better reaction can hoist your innate royal cockiness at this point, than to actually act 'surprised'? ![]() |
Hehe, lemme think...Bedazzler. ![]() Squashing adversaries will be by my super awesomeness. Lol. All I'd need really, is to stir up some kind of enchanting super energy from within, and they'd burst into flames. And my key responsibility to humanity, would be to take out superheroes/vigilantes that aren't exactly indispensable, and are causing a nuisance on the planet Earth. Like that silly Punisher and that little whinning chick in the first part of the X-men movie series. And Banshee too, yes. And maybe you...who knows... ![]() |
Hehe. Next time, you won't go acting like you own Maggie Kitchen ![]() |
