Oh yeah my bad, you were talking about a 'real woman' in the context of a relationship. How dare me then, for translating that to mean a 'standard wifey material'? ![]() |
Listen, using the oft-repeated arguement that a woman should cook, shouldn't exactly be a motivator to make others follow suit. Because me and yourself did not meet somewhere to cosign the exhausting fallacy, that a single woman's actions should always tally with what would be considered 'standard wife material'. Because it would imply that all men have the same list of qualities they want in a woman, which is impossible. I'd rather everyone be who they are and meet people who are compatible with them and accept them for who/what they are, without struggling to meet some kind of evasive 'standard wife material bar'. "Marriage" itself, is a strong motivator, and one could start doing all sorts of things that a supposedly good wife should do. In that way, a spouse could be getting more than he bargained for and that's always a nice surprise. |
I'm still trying to wrap my head around what she's saying. Vivian, are you saying that real women are compulsive cooks, while real men aren't ![]() |
Caracta: Right? Like seriously? As in, human right?Lol. Was trying to prove to me that I did not see that. Imagine! |
@Omega; Of cos, ruuuuun. It's a no-brainer. I'd advice the same, if she were in her land anyway. ![]() |
omega25red: German people and their freaky sexual fantasiesLike B/D/S/M, huh? Considered that but thought an actual death's a little bit overboard. ![]() |
Ever considered why she says so, could be because of the ladies you so openly admire? You'd do well to learn to respect your wife, oga. It's quite lame to say that you're driven to stare at other people, just because she says she doesn't love you. |
They're simply impossible! |
Naija men...just when they say they want independent modernists as wives, they ask for house helps in the same breath. ![]() |
honeypie311: bollywood- Sunita & MardAwwww. Now I remember Satape sata, Burning Train and Dus Numbri, all at once. |
Am good, thanks. Someone suggested it's that 'joromi jo mi jo' song, but I refuse to accept that because it doesn't really sound like this. So I'm still on the look out. Scout's honor. ![]() |
Idowuogbo: Kai! To move on go hard eee! But! I'll say a year to bring my spirit bck. But! In dat year, I go knack o!!ID, LieLie. I see through all this bravado of yours. ![]() OP- It is relative to each person's abilities to rebound. |
Do you think they're desperate enough for Nigerian men? [trying to give my NL brothers hope]
Hmmn, now there's a good question. Our Naija bros wouldn't move a muscle without deposit. So they know the kind of people to expect. |
True, but knowing the Chinese culture, it's still quite embarrassing and belittling to publicize her "market" like that.
Yeah Ileke, but this could be a measure of how desperate for correction, they have become. |
...or maybe the daughter is in on the plan and is giving herself the chance to get untwisted. ![]() |
...and Ivy insists on getting to the bottom of this. . Do you wish to drag J. Cole to court? Anyway, I've just decided to go into research with you. Lemme consult my elders ![]() |
I officially love you gurl! |
calculusx: Can you remember the last time you saw Catholics canvassing for members on the street? No offence meantCorrect guy, let her answer this. I don't know who asked her a question that made her answer herself earlier on. Capaccini: LOL>> YOU BE WINCH? WHY WUD U BE IN A HURRY TO LEAVE THE PRESENCE OF GOD!!My brother, going to church is only obligatory. It doesn't exactly define our faithfulness in following Him. God is present in every area of my life; left, center, right, toilet, work, kitchen...everywhere. So I 'never' leave His presence. |
The end part. Because I'd be exhausted from sitting down on a spot for so long, and would be set to vamoose. ![]() SimonAndal: "THE MASS HAS ENDED, LET US GO IN PEACE!" ![]() |
The average Nigerian gurl does not think of what she's bringing to a relationship. Seriously? Well, I blame the entire Nigerian system of government, which has made for the estrangement of its citizens, by their constant economic coercions in the absence of alternatives, to a length so bad that their existence in its entirety, must now stay wrapped around money. Of which you Op, with due respect, aren't exactly excluded from the lot. Cos amongst tonnes of important stuff that one could bring to a relationship, which range from intimacy, to affection, to harmony, friendship, generosity, fairness, love, adventure, and even people (children and all)...you seem to have gotten comfy with money. Why? ![]() Yes, we hear mothers saying stuff like Adaoma, you will marry rich husband and all that, but don't we also hear them say, 'Adaoma, you'll be a great, and caring wife and mother, someday'? |
Truth be told, this pic did him justice. He's way uglier than what the pic depicts. |
How dare they do that? Didn't they know that he's 'Omotola's' husby? Hehe. |
If all you can deduce from this examination of her motives behind wanting you back, is a long list of negatives; only because she's getting older, she wants to leave papa's pressure tent, or she finds that you're easier to manipulate, or she just doesn't like the new guy, rather than realizing that she made a mistake in breaking up with you, then please write her off to experience. But if you think she's being sincere and you deem another try worth the trouble, then by all means, examine your own motives too. Do you trullllly care for her? Or you're just lonely and not sure of meeting another like her? Have you lost status from the break up and need to regain it? D'you want your shot at her for the hurt, she put you through? If you cannot trust her as it is now, then the relationship will make for her punishment, because you'll be overly insecure, intolerant, watchful and dictatorial to her. Which will rouse the caging that prolly made her walk out on you the first time, and still can, this time. The less emotional you can be when making your decision, the greater the chance you'll make the right one. |
carefreewannabe: some women could stand up for their right to protect themselves. but many women don't have a choice.True. As a lot of men do not, who suffer the same ills. |
