Tearing of one's party membership card as a mark of one's exit from a political party with possible defection to another is an uncivilized act and , therefoer, should be discouraged/condemned by all. Remember, that the party you were tearing her card may have put food on your table in the past. Moreso, morally, it is not justifiable. I, therefore, suggest that political parties should enshrine in their constitution that such rascality is an offence punishable with specified number of years of jail term if convicted by court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.
