Donelli: Good morning.
We both know government CAN NOT & WILL NOT ignore civil disobedience, they try to suppress it; and that is why I mentioned earlier that their crude method has become very predictable and for this reason they are always caught on wrong footing.
To answer your question academically, I will say IF the government had ignored all along a different method would have been used.
Many people in the past have tried diplomatic means, it didn't work; Ojukwu tried the method of contesting elections (which many people are suggesting again) it didn't work. Now Nnamdi Kanu, having observed realities on ground that the government only listen to an aggressive approach decides to apply same BUT without forearms and other deadly weapons.
Did he get the attention of the government? YES
Did they try their usual method of money silence? OFCOURSE, but it failed
Did they try blackmail? CLEARLY, but it also failed
What about the last attempt, assassination? ABSOLUTELY, we know the story.
Now my question to you, why will a government go through all this trouble to silence one man
Do you now see what they see, that they're not dealing with a congregation of touts but a set of intelligent and far thinking individuals. If the government is so jittery as to make silly blunders why do we not see what is being played before our eyes I've told you before the only strategy that will work is armed insurgency, anything short of that is a waste of time cos the government will always crush you with force. IPOBS are naturally dumb |

Politics › Re: I Will No Longer Complain About The Problems I Inherited - Buhari by Roger3D(m): 6:49pm On Dec 04, 2018 |
chinwe1960: President Muhammadu Buhari says he has resolved to stop complaining about the problems his administration inherited when it came into office.
Buhari said he “asked for it” by relentlessly vying for office four times before emerging president in 2015.
He made the comments while speaking with a cross-section of Nigerians in Poland on the sidelines of the global summit on Climate Change.
The president said: “We inherited so many problems. Actually, I have said I will not complain because I asked for it. I tried to become President three times and I lost, but I was lucky the fourth time, I became one, so I can’t complain”
“Who asked me to do it again? Three times I ended up in the Supreme Court. The third time, I said, ‘God dey’ and the fourth time, God and technology, using the permanent voter card and the card readers, they couldn’t rig the elections; so I won.”
Speaking on the security situation in the country, Buhari said significant progress has been made in the war against insurgency.
He said Boko Haram insurgents have been able to launch attacks in recent months because “they know the area more than the soldiers”.
Buhari said: “Those in the north-east will tell you that before we came, the so-called Boko Haram used to hold about 17 local governments. Now, physically, they are not holding any local government. So they have resorted to real guerilla tactics of hit and run.
“They mobilise, hit targets and then disappear again because they know the area more than the soldiers that are defending them. Our soldiers are from Port Harcourt, Lagos, Sokoto, but they are locally there and know the terrain more than the soldiers.”

Politics › Re: Why Nnamdi Kanu Should Consider Asari Dokunbo Election Calls by Roger3D(m): 4:49pm On Dec 04, 2018 |
Donelli: I will attempt to point out a thing or two with the hope that you'll be able to review your points from another perspective.
General Consideration 1. Are elections in Nigeria clean up to 80%? (even a 20% malpractice is huge but let's be gentle).
2. Do you honestly believe, I mean can you tell your 2 year old child that votes actually count in Nigeria?
3. What are the impacts from all previous elections you've voted in, assuming you voted in all previous ones?
4. It is said that ONLY A F00L does thesame things over and over and expects a different result. To what extent do you agree/disagree? Has there been any changes in the polling structure? If yes, what are these changes? If no, do you not see the folly in expecting people to go and vote again to continue the cycle of ignorance?
Now coming to Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB 5. Does participating in Nigeria's elections while demanding for a referendum not show unseriousness?
6. If one admits that the current state of elections is a mess, and there has been no deliberate attempt to make changes, does participating in the elections not lay legitimacy to the messed up system? On what moral/ethical ground does one now complain about the system? This is Nnamdi Kanu's argument paraphrased.
7. Do you not see that you're being taken for granted. They lure you with all sorts so you give an appearance of legitimacy. Take it or leave it, the plan is for Atiku to win the election while Jibruhari fades into oblivion, that's if they don't assassinate the imposter.
Finally, it is on this same platform that someone opened a thread with the topic: What do the Igbos really want
We want a level playing field and not this covert and overt oppression and suppression. We want freedom. We demand a Referendum! You cannot get a referendum cos it is illegal under our constitution. Try armed insurgency |

Politics › Nigerian Arrested For Drug Trafficking In India by Roger3D(op): 12:53pm On Dec 04, 2018 |
A Nigerian, Olamilekan Suleiman, has been arrested by the Indian police after illicit drugs were found on him. According to a report published by The Times of India on Monday, the Bund Garden police nabbed Mr Suleiman, a resident of Naigaon in Mumbai. In a statement by the police, a team comprising an inspector, Sunil Zavare, assistant inspector, Samdeep Jamdade and sub-inspector, Atul Thombre said it saw Mr Suleiman suspiciously loitering around the area. He was confronted and failed to give convincing answers. The police then frisked him and seized cocaine and crystal meth worth Rs1.28 lakh. ”The Nigerian national near RTO chowk was nabbed for trying to peddle drugs, cocaine and crystal meth worth Rs1.28 lakh,” the police said. ”He brought the drugs from Mumbai to sell them here, efforts are being made to trace the buyer.” The Nigerian government has repeatedly warned its nationals in other countries to desist from illegal activities such as drug trafficking. Mr Suleiman’s case is one of many by some Nigerians involved in such act in some foreign countries. Many Nigerians are being detained in cuntries like Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, China, Malaysia and others for similar crimes. However, those involved in such crimes are only a small percentage of the millions of Nigerians in foreign countries who are successful in their various occupations. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/more-news/298961-nigerian-arrested-for-drug-trafficking-in-india.html |

xjiggy: Your level of delusion is beyond comprehension. That white people don't know the difference between blacks is the most absurd assumption a sane person can make. If ur statement is to be true, then how do they apprehend black criminals around the world? By guess work? After meeting with Trump, Macron and Theresa May one on one, are u telling me if they have doubts their security outfits don't have face and voice recognition software to know whether they dealt with Buhari or an impostor? As for the picture, I think you have to have your eyes checked. All I'm seeing is a smiling Aisha buhari and an audience that's smiling and looking at at the exchange between buhari and the person he's interacting with who we cannot see from the picture
NB: a person who's wears glasses in perpetuity does not look exactly the same without glasses. You can experiment with a close friend or relative to verify. Why waste your time reasoning with an IPOB miscreant? It's akin to hitting your head against a concrete wall and expecting the wall to crack |
