Ordinary to maintain the the quota given to his school by law school, he greedily violate the quota severally thereby graduating innocent students who can’t admitted to law school.
Sadly, these are the fraudulent characters in Labour Party that go about claiming they want to change the country. These rogues just want to grab power by all crooked means for their selfish interest and nothing else. God will continue to expose them one after the other. Thank God they didn't grab power. Thank God agbado is in power. Thank God he has finally bent and turned your life upside down with his clueless policies 😂 |

bisqit: hi, i need your advice. I got this job offer. The pay is 80k. Monday to saturday, 9am to 6pm. The employees are chinese and they are into selling phone accesories. What do you think The resumption time it good. But you have to put some things into consideration like the state you reside coz state varies in expenses, like Lagos cannot be compared to Benin in expenses. Then the closing time and working days, this means you won't have much time for yourself not to talk of even having time to look for another job. But if you live under someone, that means you won't be spending money on rent, do your calculations and see how much you can be saving, if it's good then take the job and place a specific time to quit. Set a goal, achieve it and leave |

My point exactly. |

emekabassey: How please, because I was informed in the absence of an employment/appointment letter nothing can be done It will boils down to you not knowing your right. After a week at least if resumption and no letter to validate your employment, no firm of documentation, you were supposed to smell a rat and talk to someone in the law. It doesn't mean you must go to court immediately but sometimes seeking legal advice is free if you can just walk up to a lawyer friend or any lawyer and relate your issues. Wherever you go, always leave a good impression. Imagine what they must have said about you while you've left. If I were your in-law, I would feel if you could show such arrogance before the family then our sister is going through hell in your hands. Don't be surprised if they called your girlfriend and be asking questions like, does he hit you? The more she says no, the more they feel she's been blinded by love into a marriage of doom. You have a lot of impression to put in place to undo this very wrong impression you have set for yourself! |

emekabassey: My story is going to be long and the experience is far from pleasant
I worked for Fouani NIgeria Limited, the customer service department. The manager is Lebanese, most will think this is enough justification for the way he acts but all other deartments in the company(that I know of) all have Lebanese managers but their story is so different from ours aside from the general issue of not giving employment/appointment letters, most these complaints is peculiar to that department of the company
Our manager does not allow any form of interaction amongst worker as you can be terminated for turning your head in the office, as in say you just turn neck o. Someone was terminated for laughing after office hours, work don close o and baba say the guy laugh and the next day na termination straight. Your job security depends on his mood, as he might just decide to terminate you with the excuse of 'we dont want you anymore'
Approval of leave is at his mercy, I can remember a staff, although she was due for 1 week leave, this man denied her despite the fact that this lady was seriously ill, he made her come to work even with the drip connected to her body as he told her she will be terminated if she doesnt work. This lady fainted twice at work that day and had to choose her life by resigning.
This is just one of the many cases of staffs that were terminated because they were absent from work because of illness even after informing he resumed with a medical report after being unable to come to work for 2 days and in this man's word "sorry, you can go home and rest. You will see your salary at the end of the month" That was the end of it.
This man has made the work environment so toxic and it is not strange to see staffs crying after leaving his office as he talks to staffs as if Nigerians are lesser humans, he called a teamlead a slut and accused her of sleeping with her team members because she does not deduct staff break, he threatened Samiat and promised to destroy her because the young lady wanted to quit and go for her youth service.
This man makes it his office policy to to limit staffs restroom usage to 7 minutes, anything beyond this can get you break deductions, warning letters and even termination. Whereas he who sets the rules spends 30 minutes in the restroom (You and I know that no one can control nature).
A Muslim staff was terminated for dosing during ramadan(this man na muslim o, and he prays 5 times daily) and so many others that I can't mention all that have face similar cases on a daily basis. He employs today and terminate tomorrow with a reliable reasons. There is a post on nairaland as far back as 2020 about this man.
Work time is Monday to Saturday 7:50AM to 5:30PM with no visible compensation for working overtime instead he tells you he is doing you a favor and you will get as much as 5,000 deducted from your salary which is more than double of our daily income.
Staffs break are deducted x3 of the minutes they came late to work despite the fact that their salaries will be deducted for same reason. I heard they protested against that recently and the break deductions has been stopped and replaced with more salary deductions for being late 1 minute past the resumption time of 7:50am, not even a grace period of 10minutes.
I made a more detailed post some weeks back on this man, e no easy at all.
If you have an advice for the people still there and know of a way for these ill to be corrected, please reach out and drop your comments as every bit of info here has evidence to back it up . When you don't know your right, abuse is inevitable. There are labor laws also in this country no matter how useless the country is. He can be sued. If only you can gather up these evidences and witnesses u mentioned up there, he's in soup |

DonBenny77: Of course you belong to your family. They own you. And it's your responsibility to make your family smile before you consider strangers. Build your family I'm not saying you must grant every request but try for your family because when you die na still that family go reciprocate. Some wealthy men impress the streets and let the family suffer then when they fall off in the future they can't sustain because the didn't empower family. Mikel particularly is a stingy guy, compare him to Mane from Senegal in terms of being charitable. Mikel would rather spend millions on a whip for model than support his family. Don't downplay family, family is everything You be disgrace o. I won't be surprised if you are married to his sister. Na you be the yeye in-law him dey talk about. Nigeria is a failed country for anyone to do good business because you are solely on your own. These loan sharks wouldn't resort to just any means to get their monies back if the government backs them on a simple strategy. You take a debtor to police and they tell you it's a civil case. Shebi you'll go and carry lawyer to pursue a debt of 50k🤷♂️. The Nigerian laws protects the debtor more than the owed. The Nigerian economy also pushes debtors to borrow and borrow no matter the interest rate. Now this is the logic. The Nigerian government knows the economic hardship they metted on Nigerians due to their devilish leadership, and they also know Nigerians have turned to loan sharks, micro finance banks and banks for solace hence they relax the laws on debtors who owe to ease the polity else there will be serious revolt. If borrowers know if I fall to pay I can be arrested and locked up at the request of the loan company, he or she will think twice before borrowing and then the backlash will be on our leaders for bad governance. In all, our government is our problem |
