Tosinville: Nice topic, silly post from mr.cork.
Well as a matter of fact, its here in nigeria that plumbing work look ridiculous to many ppl o! but in the western states, its a nice occupation. What really looks ridiculous is the mentality of the people that think plumbing is ridiculous. |
Culture › Re: Why Our English Speaking Brothers Think Cameroon Is A West African Country by romeo(m): 1:52pm On Jun 25, 2011 |
Cameroon is a Middle African country. There is nothing like Central African region. Middle Africa: Angola Cameroon Central African Republic Chad Congo Democratic Republic of the Congo Equatorial Guinea Gabon Sao Tome and Principe source: http://unstats.un.org/unsd/methods/m49/m49regin.htm#africaEgypt was a peaceful country 6 months ago, Libya too, Yemen, Syria etc. until the people said enough of this fake peace and took to the streets demanding their rights. There is fear in Cameroon and not peace. And it's worse when a youth with "education" like you is singing praises of an unfounded peace in a completely totalitarian country like that. The only country in Africa you will never get a news about, good or bad for a whole year due to hardline sensorship by the dictator. Go and sing praises of your country to the people that want to hear that, French people. We know the situation of Cameroon sister. |

Plumbing is a profession and must be respected, Brick laying is profession and must be respected, Auto-mechanic too! What makes a Lawyer, Doctor, Secretary different from a plumber? silly people all over this forum. Before a country will improve economically it must have a good percentage of skilled work men that will set up small scale industries that will even employ graduates.
This forum reflects the very bad situation the Nigerian educational system is undergoing, Where supposedly educated young men and women do not have respect for noble professions like plumbing. They worship corrupt politicians, drug barons, rogue church leaders, but mock plumbers.
Anybody that lives outside the shores of this country that tows same line of reasoning is either fresh out of Nigeria or just a little kid living parents. |

Politics › Re: Enugu Brt To Be Run By Nigeria Made Buses! by romeo(m): 3:08pm On Jun 15, 2011 |
marocguy: the buses look flashy n porshe, looking generally better than d first batch of merc marcopolo coal city shuttles bought from ANAMMCO. I had to enter it once, very comfortable porsh interior, automated doors designed for the transport scheme.generally it looks less durable than merc n volvo. I doubt its ability to survive nigerian highways. Unlike the IVM buses, the refuse collector trucks look fairly stronger that they have replaced the mack fleet first used by ESWAMA,that have almost all broken down as seen in the ESWAMA truck yard. The IVM refuse trucks which come in two models have almost taken over. The IVM jeeps, luk pretty gud,i have just seen one recently purchased by a federal parastatal in enugu,i usually pass it enroute work in the mornings, had d opportunity to look closely at it and i would say i was fairly impressed by it. You can hardly notice its IVM made. Looking big and flashy and fairly stronger than hyundai and kia jeeps i have seen. Considering d availability of spare parts and and proximity of the manufacturing plant,i will buy it b4 a kia. Overall,i am impressed by the IVM coy products. Enugu state govt 2 4 patronising admist d risk. Heard anambra govt is taking deliveries of the buses too. Other govts should emulate. Infact GEj who commisioned d plant last year should initiate a policy that would make govt agencies to purchase d vehicles. I even heard IVM is competing with OGBUAWA n co to purchase the state govt/Daimler owned currently unfunctional ANAMMCO mercedes benz car assembly plant, which is folding up,messed up by corruption n fraud. Nice move if thats true,d plant is bigger and more sophiscated than IVM plant in anambra state i hear. More nigerian made products, cars, all we want. Good 4 our economy! good piece u did there, thanks |

Ileke-IdI: Its not your fault. I said it's the home you were brought up in. I bet you'd smile if he had called your bearer a chihuahua. Oloshi feeling funky. Keep singing home training like if you know what that means! Hypocrite. He attacked your person and did not mention Yoruba culture, Did you recognise the poster from previous threads? or this is the first time you both are talking? that was my question because unless you know each other his post did not make a sense. But did not warrant an insult on entire igbo people. But i know you think differently about that by the way you go about home training in the east. |

Ileke-IdI: And apku must have rotted yours, if you could let your brother say such to a woman. Lack of home training is una's problem in that SE sha, thatz why I dont bother with una when you go down that path. who is this? You were insulted by his post? I believed you both had somethng in the past that warranted such a response or don't you think so? Yes we lack home training in the east and we also lack area boys |

Maybe you are one of those shameless drunkards playing for Atletico Balear, Menuda verguenza me dan.
