I love the last two paragraph. Western leaders stooges claims we're equal and criminalizes physical abuse on women with no proportional laws against same abuse on men. How equal is equal? Gender equality in the west is a humbug. Nonsense

Igbo guys are only stingy to side chicks and mistresses. If you were ever the main chick you wouldn't have had the impression we're stingy. Not saying you were a side chick, just saying you weren't the real deal of your Igbo exes (if any).

Afoanu di ga gi, na akogheri inugo? I'm from Anambra but I've grown beyond praising a governor for a common flyover, roads, schools etc.

I understand that the persisting poor leadership and infrastructural decay in the country has had a negative effect on your psyche that something as menial as bridge seems huge to you.

Even if the contruction of a bridge is a groundbreaking achievement to you it doesn't warrant sing praising the governor coz it's his job and that's what he was voted to do. Itiboribo utobo na enweghi uche. Be praising them while they loot your future away.
Romance › Re: Playing The Wooing Game: Is Saying Yes Too Early Bad? by ronald4lif(m): 10:07pm On Apr 19, 2016
Quite frankly I love the chase phase, don't just want a yes at first instance. The chasing period normally makes me get more attached and fond of her, and spirals my interest too.

But that doesn't mean I want to be lead on beyond a reasonable period of time. For the most part, a month is the limit for me and anything beyond that makes me give up and move on.

Also, the duration of time I'm willing to wait depends on the emotion involves. If it's just someone I'm lusting after and just want to experience coítus with then a week is max but for anything serious then the stated limit on the preceding paragraph stands.

Hater, pls go &hug the nearest transformer
Olodo, where I'm domicled there are no visible transformers so even if I were to hug one I can't. But you have them around you and even high tension cables staring at you, so go embrace one.

Mumu, bridge is now seen as development and something to applaud a governor for?

Northerners only claim usefulness in Nigeria,
Its only in Nigeria that u wud see a president put more northerners in his cabinet because to his flawed thinking northerners are more qualified and capable than Nigerians, but on a neutral ground away from Nigeria this people has never achieved anything.
Let them keep deceiving themselves.
Stop exposing your ignorance and acquiescing lunacy for public amusement. You know nothing about northerners and their migration culture. Northerners aren't in the habit of travelling abroad for greener pastures like other parts of Nigeria. They only holiday abroad and study and move back to their enclave to give back to the society what they've learned abroad.

It's nothing of pride or exulting for us to celebrate when a Nigerian attain such strides in the diaspora. Our best minds are being nipped from us by a society that doesn't wish us well and are only interested in depriving us of our astute academicians and here we're ignorantly gloating about it.

Even trying to berate northerners who have resisted in becoming slaves and second class bourgeois to these economic and academic terrorists who never wish Africans well is the height of silliness.

LOL. I'll write the reasons I feel there are less contestants this year in English.

1. There are lot of fake females since middle of last 2 years which became more rampant last year and this year. And during verification, a lot of these fake females declines from joining the contest to avoid getting exposed. In times past where everything goes, more people competed.

2. The insults and intimidation. These part has played out here on this thread and it'll replay again during the competition proper. Contestants get insulted, harassed and intimidated. It's not fair. Everyone has the right to compete or not and should not be disgraced maybe coz of her looks or shape. These sort of things discourages a lot of people from contesting.

3. And finally, I feel the competition has lost its flair. The movers and shakers of this competition like Idowuogbo and co are no longer around.

What do you think?
All true. The number one point seems to be the major reason responsible for low participant. The quest for obsequious flattery and cheap attention has made many characters to impersonate others by using fake pics as theirs. With this they can't participate coz they can't manoeuvre their way through verification process.

The insult and intimidation is another factor too as the badmouthing is capable of affecting one's esteem. But still with the Merrybet largesse I had thought by now we'd be having more than 20 verified contestant and that's not the case.

And if we can't get up to 15 or more the contest may not be as interesting as envisaged coz the many elimination stages up to the grand finale can't effectively hold.

I also notice that the romance board which happens to be the most active and interesting has become unusually boring and a fecund terra firma for juveniles to feast on. This has made serious minds who may have contested to abandon this section. Had the mods taken this to FP the outcome will have been positively different.

Honestly, I would have been lucky to, but the asa adigo committed and stuff.. Well, my main aim for siding behind her is cos I don't want this years contest to be "business as usual". The previous years were marred with irregularities and excessive cajoling, this year tho.. This year has something different to offer!

Nevertheless, chairman mu ka I'bu that's why I'm looking up to you to endorse her. I know you'll make the right decision and I stand to respect it even if it doesn't sway to my favour. Alobam k'ibu cool cool

Oh if every nairalander can reason this way then its merely but a walk in the park for mimzy. Lets just hope that in the end its not gonna border down to who's pals with who. Cos that's the usual trend with NL pageants and such system has produced several mediocre queens since and before Lupey.

Hopefully it'll be an extra-ordinary exercise this year...

Mimzy has no manager bro, every single supporter is her manager and the best thing about this broad is that she's open to learn and improve. It surprises me that onye n'nunu dika gi hasn't taken advantage of that. wink

Cool though.. The minute you pitch your tent with mimzy, that's the very last hand you need to deal to seal the deal. Victory is sure bro.
Lol. Ya abusi'm ojikota nnunu hehe.

The only miss/mr NL contest I've observed was last year's so can't really tell how the other's faired. Last year's was deservedly won but not without familiarity playing a significant role on it outcome. I think popularity is crucial in every online contest sha. Who rapport with who matters though shouldn't be the case.

She's pretty and has striking facsimile with Olivia, both have similar kinda eyes. And she (Olivia) would have earned my vote and support but since she ain't contesting then porting to her replica isn't a bad one. Hopefully, her performance on the Q&A exercise dovetails with her looks for it'll go a long way too.

Mana ka'm jukwa gi o, obu nwa asa gi? Ima ka aka oji the nwa? wink

Sure about that? Cos I think you'll most likely tow the charis or sini path.
Not true boss. It's a contest that involves mainly beauty and shrewdness so it's only fair that some peeps stays on the sideline until Q&A part is conducted.

Based on beauty alone, I'm near convinced that it's a concluded exercise from the verified contestants we have thus far. But there's more to it and I have none until then.

Among other positive sides of Tohpáhz last year, was her scintillating response to questions posed her way that got myself and other undecided voters cast their supports for her. Campaign 'managers' like yourself can coach your candidates through Q&A process, especially if they weren't active last year to know how it goes down.
