Yes,the vanity crew would say vanity upon vanity... What they fail to understand is ,owing a rickety beetle car is vanity, same as owning the latest Range Rover sport;buying second hand clothes is vanity same way buying Zara,Elizabeth Arden or Victoria secret is also vanity;dring garri with groundnut or dried fish is vanity same way as eating fried or basmati rice with Chinese sauce are also vanity. So why can't I choose the best option which is more comfortable because all are vanity!
Touché. Exactly the point I was trying to pass across in my prequel comment albeit in a different approach on this thread. All these vanity talks are just bullsh1t.

These same people pass homeless beggars, orphanage homes and the extremely indigent of the society without dropping 50naira out of their 1k savings to them. They have more than one smart phones without giving one to the people who have got none. They have got different brands of new (not worn-out clothings) wears and never spare a thought for those who are wear rags as clothes. You have 3modu of garri and see your neighbour with her kids ravishing one cup and couldn't spare one modu for them. Instances are seamless.

They thing they have to be wealthy to help the needy or pander to their vanity upon vanity crap. You've got the money, you enjoy it as one likes. And if one must be prudent and kick against 'vanity' they should start by helping with the little they have.

No be vanity before? Even the thing no go follow dem enter ground, if not night workers(thief) done see money
You can auction your smart phones (and keep only one if you have two or more) and all electronic gadgets of yours and donate the proceeds to the less privilege.

Also donate a huge chunk of your savings to the needy (if you have more than a million naira) as they're in dire need of food items.

For those who own more than a car they should retail the others as they can do with just one and donate the proceeds to the orphanage home. Similarly, for landlords and other property owners etc etc. No one needs more than a house or car anyways and they aren't going to be buried with these acquisition. You agree? Yes?

Who expected Shehu to admit this government is divisive? Buhari's appointment is favourable to the north, everyone knows this to be true.

You aren't related to B and should be fine. The only ties you have with her is connected to your cousin A and not her. This shouldn't be a problem.

Hmmm it seems like she's also not in good terms with Davido. I've observed the complete absence of Davido's news on her platform lately, unlike before that a day doesn't goes by without Obo's news. Anyone else noticed?

mizzbouqui:
You needs to change your mentality, not all Nigerian girls are jobless and will only depend on the money you will send to her, just be romantic period
No one colligated all Nigerian girls has being dependent on men's money. I only asked how many would be wowed with just ice cream and flowers without money? They are in the insignificant minority and we know it.

Just be romantic you said? What triggers most romance in a relationship? Most romantic gestures are connected to money, even the regular ice cream, necklace etc cost money regardless how measly it is. So how do you propose a man without money becomes romantic?

An average Nigerian girl doesn't have to be jobless to feel some sense of entitlement on a man's money, it's now seen as birth rights. The gainfully employed ones are as guilty as the unemployed ones so please give us a break with the now hackneyed jobless defence.

How many Nigerian babe do you think would be wowed with just ice cream, flowers and necklace without crediting her account and part ways with money often? Who you dey deceive?

In this era of Feminism, women should stop expecting men to be in the forefront of romance. You talk the walk, you walk the walk.
Wishful thinking. Most feminists (if not all) are cherry-pickers and mendacious lots. They expect men to be more chivalrous, take charge of the bills and in gifts bestowal. Notice that some of her points is about men parting ways with gifts? Women, feminists or not, are wired same, want to be wowed with gifts but hardly requite it.

I'd have done same if I were you and I don't give a fvck if she was at fault provided she never slapped him first. You hit anyone related to me in my presence or absence I'm so going to return the favour in kind. Violence is not the apposite approach to verbal confrontation.
