To answer your Question,it depends on you and what your goals are which could be More energy or to loose weight or to cleanse your body...
For a starter try the 16:8 method where you can eat withing a 8 hour eating window n fast for 16 hours...for example your eating window can be 8am to 4pm,then no eating from 4pm to the next day by 8am again and the cycle continues
But I strongly advise you to go for 2MAD( 2 meals a day)...you pick two different times of the day for eating...for example it could be 12 pm and 6pm,meaning by 12pm you eat whole meal,then you won't eat till 6pm that same day,then after that you don't eat till the next day by 12pm...but to make it more convenient especially for someone who works,your eating time should be 7am:7pm and you don't eat anything in-between...
Note:You are allowed to drink water during the fasting state since water contains no Calories and also know that for the first few days,you will crave for food especially in fasted state bkos your body is new to eating pattern but after it would adjust then you won't crave for food much then the real benefits begin to show..you can research more on it...
