A man who wanted to serve his people with everything in him and with passion won't be this happy or show so much gratitude, but will be so eager and desperate to start working immediately and not a case of "I didn't know you'll honour me this way" He's happy and showed so much gratitude because he knows he'll have free entry to start looting endlessly, and almost all Nigerian politicians are like this. It's sad. We have a long way to go as a country.

Trust me, most who go back to Nigeria complaining didn’t move back by choice.
You and Justwise present strong points and I advise anyone to be suspicious of people who complain about the developed countries they moved to.
If you visit any Nigerians here in the US (my paternal side included) you hear them complaining to family in Naija about bills and how hard things are then the moment they disconnect the call, they jump right back to loving and enjoying their new life.
The majority of people who complain aren’t legal and don’t have papers, are lazy, don’t want family back in Naija to ask for help migrating, or ask for money.

Real question: why do these monikers act like bills and taxes are curses and everyone abroad works around the clock, living a hard life of struggle? A nice, comfortable lifestyle costs and we enjoy the amenities funded with our taxes. Savings and investments are priorities to me but what good does having large amounts of money saved serve in an unsanitary, uncomfortable, and dangerous environment where one encounter can wipe savings dry? Serves no good at all.

You people were late to the thread. The narrow-minded ones already littered everywhere with their bile

What pisses me of about threads like this is that there's always a reference to the Op's current earning power: in this case 600k.

Last I checked, 1 dollar = 600 naira, so the Op is currently earning 1k dollars monthly which in itself is not bad but to put things in context :at this same time last year, it was about 1200 dollars.

Common sense dictates that there's a reason to be worried and so many other variables should be looked into apart from earning power.

Like SECURITY! Wetin pass security for this life

Dear OP @charles009

I find your thinking interesting, cos you seem to have a good job and yet you tend to want better. That’s what we’re meant to do in life.

If we were built to be in one spot for life we wouldn’t have our feet.

Truth be told so many stories of people who go and come back with nothing, some are fishy as they wouldn’t narrate if they were lazy or not, or perhaps they were involved in something fishy on another man’s territory.

I suggest you travel and visit these countries you might have in mind to acclimatize yourself with what’s what and what’s not.

I know people who have little or no skills earning $2-$3K every month after tax and about 600$-800$ after bills every month overseas without their family though.

If you can sharpen your skill sets when you relocate with some trainings, you should fare better.

You have a family so the story might not be the same, but you also have a helping hand with your wife by you, you can pull more weights and have less pressure.

Also, on a not so bright note. You have a good job here but is it secure?

is your safety and that of your family guaranteed?

Are their future guaranteed too?

Will you wake up tomorrow to another unimaginable inflation?

If you fall ill will you be taken care of first and bills sorted later or we have to source for the money before the doctors will even listen to you.

So so many questions I should ask, but you’re a man and I think you should be the one to question your action(s) as to how you can secure the future of your clan.

Imagine if Giannis Adetokumbo’s Father had him in Nigeria. grin

People may show you videos of how people are complaining, let this !d!its complaining come back home from where they are and allow fresh hands go experience the heavy taxing, but I’m sure they won’t.

Peace!!!

Jeezzz! Thread don reach page 10 from page 2 in 24hrs lol grin

At my age, I'm definitely not leaving for me but for my Son! People over there keep complaining but they can never come back to Nigeria and ever stop to travel by road. Always flight.... They should try road and see how secured the Nation is

You have a good salary, wife and kids, don't leave all that only to travel to start afresh again. It will take you average 15-20yrs to get the level you are right now. You can go for holiday in any of those countries to see things for yourself.

If you were younger with no wife or job i will encourage you to go but you are settled already

And his kids? Would they be that lucky?
How's the Security situation in Nigeria? Would it ever improve? Cmon! Mk una dey dey look bigger picture. 600k na 1k dols right now

I earned more than the number you specified back in Nigeria but I thank God I made that decision. Believe me, it won't be easy for a certain time as settling down in another sphere which you are completely new to is not easy but over time things will fall into places. I will advise you to have a deep thought over it. Will you be getting this salary for life ? what would be the fate of your kids 10, 15 years to come. weight the pro and cons and take your decision. To be candid, I was super comfortable in Nigeria but the spate of insecurity, our education system, infrastructure decadence pushed me out. Imagine yourself in a place water never run dried, electricity never blink, you can conveniently work day and night without the fear of somebody will collect your laptop or money, you sleep with your door half closed, your forget your phone in a public bus and you get it within 24 hours and all your things were intact. Many people lost ATM cards and they got it back without an issue. get me right, there is crime everywhere but the percentage in these developed world is close to zero. If you are fortunate to earn N600,000 per month, can you kids be that fortunate. those were my thought for leaving a job that gave above what you quoted and moved.
Nevertheless, ensure you move legally if you will. I wish you all the best.

The bigger picture. God bless you bro

A politicians knows how to go round with his words. Atiku would have known how sensitive the topic of blasphemy is to Northern Muslim.

Anyway, it's 'damage control time' (if he can fix this political mis-tweet). I really think he might lose many Muslim votes for condemning her MURDER. It is taking laws into their hands. Let government or even Sharia Commission handle the matter.

There's no difference between you and those murderous 1mbeciles up north

Keep in mind that it might take time to find the treatment or combination of treatments that will work for you. Behavioral treatment plus drug therapy might be the most effective course.

Pelvic floor exercises (Kegel exercises) can help strengthen these muscles.

To perform these exercises:

Find the right muscles.
To identify your pelvic floor muscles, stop urination in midstream or tighten the muscles that keep you from passing gas.
These maneuvers use your pelvic floor muscles.
Once you've identified your pelvic floor muscles, you can do the exercises in any position, although you might find it easier to do them lying down at first.Perfect your technique.
Tighten your pelvic floor muscles, hold the contraction for three seconds, and then relax for three seconds.
Try it a few times in a row. When your muscles get stronger, try doing Kegel exercises while sitting, standing or walking.
Maintain your focus.
For best results, focus on tightening only your pelvic floor muscles.
Be careful not to flex the muscles in your abdomen, thighs or buttocks.
Avoid holding your breath. Instead, breathe freely during the exercises.Repeat 3 times a day.
Aim for at least three sets of 10 repetitions a day.

The only use you have in life is just to fvck small small ashis
