dannywest: I started with Web Development, before adding Bulk SMS wholesaling, then started shawarma joints (I've 3 right now) last december.
All the businesses are still active and thriving.
And the people I hired are to let me focus on marketing and managing the business while they do the web design, making of shawarma, customercare, etc.
U started all these with 6k ?
Who do u really think u are deceiving ?

oladayo042: National Bureau of Statistics even had nothing like monthly unemployment rate on their website. Even if they did, why should I believe it when they claimed that the 2011 rate was less than 25% while Nigerians who are wearing the shoe know that it pinches harder than that. I'm sure government just pick any figure they fancy and claim unemployment has been reduced.
So on point.

I remember vividly mine DAMILOLA by name, we were both in the same class from ss1 to ss3 @ FGC ijanikin.

I didn't have the courage to approach her even when they were loads of signs that she was throwing @ me .
I was just too scared , we finally finished our WAEC and we all went our separate ways, lo and behold I saw her in front of her house a few months after, and she was so happy to c me , after exchanging pleasantries she asked what I came to her close for and I told her I came around to collect my films from my friend.

When I was about going that day she demanded for one particular film I had on me (TWO CAN PLAY THE GAME)----can never forget ----- that film did a whole lot for me .

Two days after , she called me over to come and collect the film, when I went I was just expecting her to bring it outside her gate but she encouraged me to come inside her house, she was so hospitable and welcoming , she later encouraged me to say a little, while the goat and the yam were together all alone in the big house we suddenly found ourselves smoothing and kissing -------
(An event that can never leave this big head of mine )
She finally got married last year and I was there live, remembering the good times we had together .
Her husband go enjoy that babe sha.
I still really like the chic I swear .

pato405: talking about this issue, I used to have the cake. I used to be very shy, reticent and cautious with words lest I hurt a girl. there used to be this pretty girl I had a crush on [in fact she would have been my first] . I just didnt know how to approach her. we attended the same church and I just kept my distance due to fear of rejection or being turned down. this lingered for more than 2 yrs! after ss3 exams, i decided to visit a friend of mine who lived about 3 street away, lo and behold when i got to their siting room, it was my gorgeous nubile I met watching a movie in my friends house. our eyes interlocked, my heart skipped 3 beats!, I almost ran back!however, I summoned courage to go in but my timidity couldn't even allow me say a simple ''Hi'' grin grin grin grin. she said hello first and i mumbled something that sounded like 'hello' sweating and panicking [goosh!]

then my friend struck up a conversation..''this lady attends your church o!'' do you guys know each other ? he said. if I were a sharp guy, that line would have just been enough to carry on or take over from him and drop fine lyrics. but for where na! i was a chronic nerd! the girl then chiped in [perhaps in a bid to break the silence]..''yes I know him but he doesnt talk in church o!'' shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked..i beamed a smile and pretended like i was going to use the loo, my friend noticing i was uncomfortable came after me like he was trying to offer me a tissue or something..[ grin grin grin grin grin] then I quietly told him that I know the lady very well grin grin grin grin..i was only pretending because i cant just approach her nor do i know what lines to drop! undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided. [pls note we attended a single s*x school, but some guys were smarter than others, my type belonged to the bottom of the chain when it comes to asking a lady out]. i asked him if he was dating her. he shook his head vigorously saying he cant date his neighbour..but that he can pave way for me..by letting her know i fancy her. this he did on my behalf and arranged for a date betweeen us [the girl and I]

to be continued...[ I shal tell you all how I bungled my first date] grin grin grin grin grin
But guy u be real dolapo o, haba

When it is persistently done then certainly there's a message that's been sent, in other to proof that ur aint a weak guy u've got to do what they expect of u, however if u act like u not seeing the green light that they're passing(free t.o.t.o on the plate) then just get ready to leave that coy cos they would make life miserable for u , most especially when they are ur superior.
PoliticsRe: Rate Your State Governor's Performance 1 To 10 by Rooneyboy(m): 8:03am On Oct 01, 2012
seunfly: Fashola is one of the best governor Nigeria has ever produce, under him Lagos internaly generated revenue increace by 500% and Lagos infructural developments rise to the extent that he became the bench mark for southwest governors.
Weaknes: peaple think most of his infrastructural developments are in wealthy peaple's enviroment such as ikoyi, lekki, Vi etc
peaple also think he serves godfather and that he is morgaging lagosian future to the godfathers

overall i give above average aleast at the level of our present leadership in Nigeria.

RATING 7.5
This young man is going quite well but I think 7.5/10 is just too much for him ,
6/10 is just ideal.
PoliticsRe: Rate Your State Governor's Performance 1 To 10 by Rooneyboy(m): 7:59am On Oct 01, 2012
seunfly: Rotimi amechi is an excellent governor has done what nobody ever imagine to be possible considering what his predicessor did when he was in office, in his first 4years in office he built schools that serves as a model to any schools (public and private) in Nigeria, dualise some important roads and kickstart the era of light rail in entire southeast and southsouth region.
Weakness: peaple think he is embacking on too many white elephant project which he may likely abandone at the end of his tenure,
peaple also think he has slow down his developmental project since the begining of his second term.

Overall he has tried comparing him with his predicessor, but with the resources he has access to he is a bite above average.

RATING 6.5 or 7
This governor has in my own opinion underperformed ,I have been to rivers state on so many occasions and I must tell u I'm not impressed with what. C in this state .

Roads in this state are SO TERRIBLE.

I mean, with all the resources he has @ his disposal, this guy can do a lot better.
I give this governor
3/10

folafola: I noticed since few days that nairaland is no more showing google adverts and they are replaced with local adverts, why is this so or is seun planning to become another google in Nigeria? if this is so I want to apply for 'nairasense' advert so i can make much more money on my blog as i do with adsense, i just wrote a reveiw about how to place adverts on nairaland though. has anyone noticed this or is it my browser?
I think it s going to fetch him more pay as he would be dealing directly with the advertisers ,
Secondly it would be more beneficial in that it will be mainly Nigerian adverts(for the target audience nigerians)and not some rubbish google advert that has little or nothing to do with the vast majority of visitors that visit this site.
