Politics / Re: Sit-At-Home: IPOB Looted Bread Van In Enugu & Set It On Fire by rosinkkit: 11:49pm On Sep 16, 2021
Reptyle:

When I read statements like this, it just makes me feel that most Igbos do not have a problem with oppression if it is being perpetrated by fellow Igbos.

Is this the sort of repressive administration that IPOB wants to run in the Southeast? An administration that legislates people's freedom of movement and robs them of their rights to freely determine what they would like to do? If that is the case, why do they have a problem with being a part of Nigeria then? Or is it no longer oppression when an Igbo oppresses a fellow Igbo? Would you be this pragmatic if the bread seller was attacked by people from another tribe?

You might as well be reasoning with a brick wall.

These Igbo youths are ignorant and thoughtless.

Forget about trying to reason with them. They are dumb. All they know is 'follow Kanu'.

OP, everything you wrote in that brief essay is even more relevant and applicable today than when you penned it 4 yrs ago.

Unfortunately, this generation of thick-skulled Igbo youth are too far gone in their mental slavery to Kanu and his barbarism, to partake of anything meaningful, devoid of blaming northerners for everything wrong in their lives.

Since you wrote that piece, they've added the deadly element of self-sabotaging violence targeting their own people, while perfecting a Hitler-esque climate of subservience to their murderous authoritarianism, which surely spells 'banana republic' for their new state, were it ever to be realised.

Politics / Re: Why Are Igbo And Hindu Accounts Of Creation The Exact Same? by rosinkkit: 8:33pm On Sep 16, 2021
The Sumerians, who were black people, referred to themselves as 'saggi gi', meaning 'black-headed people'.

Igbos today refer to black people in general as ''ndi issi ogi'' - black-headed people.

This amazing congruence lends real credibility to the linkages drawn between the Igbos and Sumerians.

I also find the term 'Annunaki' very Igbo-like in its spelling and tone.

What do you mean by magnetic components? Explain further.

Many 'vaccinated' have reported metallic objects sticking to the spot they were injected.

Also, one foreign govt at least has suspended the 'vaccines' after they were found to contain stainless steel in them.

Your market will be reduced to those 5 Igbo states with your dotcom republic, or Gaza Strip 2, which I really can't wait for y'all to get, so we can all have some fuicking peace.

Can someone pls enlighten me, What's the importance of this?

The government is trying to launch an infrastructure revolution.

The good thing about it is that infrastructure development expansion is the fastest way to create jobs in any economy.

15 trillion naira is 36 billion dollars.

That is money that shows seriousness of intent.

Any right thinking person should be watching the whole thing with interest, looking to key into it, rather than these illiterate comments we see on Nairaland by ignorant youths who don't even understand what they're reading.

Next month we will go and complete our dose.

Please my brothers and sisters you should go and take the COVID-19 vaccine. It is free.

True. IPOB are not democrats in any sense of the word.

They could never allow free and fair elections in a 'Biafra'.

They don't even respect the basic human right of persons to hold an opposing view to them.

As an Igbo man, I am in support of equity, fairness and ultimately freedom from Fulanization ideology.
However, the modus operandi of IPOB in actualizing Biafra is crude and barbaric. These guys are killing businesses in Igbo land, killing people who go about their normal businesses. Today, monday, 13th September, 2021, they shot at our younger brothers and sisters who were writing WAEC examination and burnt down vehicles there. This is evil.
What is the difference between these guys and boko haram or Talibans.
Most people ordering this sit at home are abroad, while many are outside Igbo land, trying to destroy the south east.
Is this the kind of Biafra we want? Biafra where the leaders will be worse than Idi amin of Uganda? If this is the kind of Biafra they want in order to exercise totalitarianism, may such Biafra never come. These men are evil, brutish, mean and wicked.
May God punish u if you insult me.

You've said it all.

It's depressing to see how the Igbos were manipulated into supporting these evil entities, all in the name of 'self-determination'.

Personally I could never live in a Biafra ruled by IPOB and Kanu and his people.

And you can bet it would be THEM that would rule. They are no democrats.

They don't even believe in the right to hold opposing views to theirs - a dynamic that forms the very basis of modern societies.

They will rule in a 'Biafra' for sure. They did not suffer to achieve the new nation only to disappear into anonymity.

i mean, even a 3 year old can see what type of country it will be, by the behaviour of IPOB.

Utter banana republic that would make Uganda under Amin seem a choir show.

This week there's another 2 days sit-at-home.

They're behaving like this because they still see food to eat, forgetting there are people that eat from hand to mouth..

We're doing ourselves thinking we're doing Buhari...

IPOB do NOT care about Igbos or Igbo 'self determination'.

This was why their leader was offered the 5 eastern Igbo states, and he refused, saying he wanted the delta region as well.

IPOB and 'Biafra' are simply crude attempts by a rogue group of greedy Igbos, to seize control of the Niger Delta oil fields.

The Igbo PEOPLE are just disposable pawns in that group's desperate quest - starting with Ojukwu's futile effort - to corner Nigeria's oil resources for themselves alone.

Their true colours are emerging now, as they turn their vicious, murderous attention on those Igbos they consider to be obstructing their insane ambition.

poiZon:

Most times we get confused about human capital development, please can you explain the details what u mean by this?

Basically he means education, health, nutrition etc.

But the irony is that for human capital development to improve, we must increase national income and hence, our annual budget, through increased national productivity and industrialisation.

The oil income is nowhere near enough for our 200 million population. We need diversification of the economy away from oil. Firms like this represent such steps.

We Nigerians need to appreciate that we can do more in the private sector to build these types of businesses, instead of thinking everything is the govt's responsibility - the usual thrust of this forum.

Its is not everything you think you say? What kind of politics is this abeg? I'm sorry cry

There are some things that need to be said, and this was one of them.

Igbos need to stop moaning and start to play politics the Nigerian way. There is no reason Igbos should be marginalised if they know how to play politics. In politics you must kiss ass. You must compromise. You must praise the other. You must build bridges even with your most loathed rivals. You must have a big picture in your head of your objective, and then do whatever it takes, politically, to get there. Emotion and ego must play ZERO part in your considerations.
