AlphaDibia: What if naija faced France? If we played them with fear like we played Argentina, we'd lose. If we played them a fearless offensive game, we could thrash them. Are their players not guys from Guinea, Mali, Senegal etc? They are not better than Eagles players. It's just that we allow the "big names" of France, Argentina etc alter our confident and offensive game, and we turn timid against them. |

Maxcollins042: How the super eagles couldn't beat this disoriented team called Argentina beats my imagination. That is what happens when you have a coach with inferiority complex towards so called "big teams", making his team play a defensive game, or a compromised coach who takes bribes from betting syndicates to lose. |

kjhova: We are not ready for Nigerian managers, never mind great or weak! We suffer serious National Inferiority Complex and I'll itemise my reasons for this opinion:
1) When we employ a European, he is a "technical Adviser" (which is even incorrect as the proper English word should be Advisor) however when we employ a Nigerian, he is only a "Head Coach" despite that the jobs are exactly the same.
2) In pay terms, the contracts we give European managers are often 5 to 10 times higher than the package for the Nigerian manager with extra perks to add...all for the same job!
3) When a European manager fails...whimper/dead silence is all you get. When a Nigerian manager fails, words like Tactical/Deficient/Technical/Inexperience etc are screamed all over radio, TV, Newspaper stands all over the place! It really is shameful. We need spiritual deliverance. We act like a cursed people. |

Peacemaker5128: Production or assemble ? Car manufacturing is the EXACT SAME THING as car assembly. It is only in Nigeria that people make a distinction between the two. You people should please stop disgracing yourselves with this nonsense. If you go abroad and ask if a vehicle was either manufactured, "or assembled", they will call a psychiatrist for you. In fact go on Google now and check. Car manufacturing plants are referred to universally as 'car assembly plants'. Even the Oxford online dictionary states that the word manufacture means "to assemble". Vehicle production is the process of assembling vehicles using a variety of parts built by vehicle parts manufacturing firms. You buy the various parts, then you assemble the vehicle. Finish! |

Demolaeby: This man is going somewhere. Can something good come from Nigeria? What kind of foolish question is that? Thank goodness Innoson does not have that common Nigerian pessimistic mindset, otherwise he'd be one of those moro.ns crossing the Sahara into slavery because of their view that "nothing good can come out of Nigeria". This man built his company from nothing, with no govt contracts or contacts, proving that you can use those thousands of dollars you use in crossing the desert into slavery, or travelling to S.A. to sell drugs, and put it to good use in Nigeria, and become like Innoson - an innovative, dynamic, proud Nigerian who believes in himself and his country. |

teewhydope: you're the one that should stfu. the ball touched his head before his hand. I think you have comprehension issue because the rules are well defined. unless you just started watching football... Dunce. Where do the rules state that it is not a foul if the ball touches his head before touching his hand? You must have "just started watching football", because Rio Ferdinand and Didier Drogba said it was a pure penalty. And you cannot argue with them because they know the game inside out. Odingo1: That is not a penalty, ball from head touching the hand is not a penalty, stop playing victim. Shut up your mouth and go read the FIFA rules before talking rubbish. If a player's hand is in an "unusual position" when the ball hits it, it is a foul, whether or not it was intentional. The Argie player's hand was up in the air, so it was a pure penalty. |

Everytime they fail to play well in the tournament, they shout 'ojoro' and blame the referees. Funny country. Even the penalty that was given to Nigeria was not clear enough Shut up. chinachris111: WITH TEARS IN MY EYES, I WRITE THIS: I am very sure majority of Nigerians left everything they were supposed to do today to honour our players as they struggled to reach a positive end. -------------------------------------------------------- First of all, I wish to congratulate our #players for the wonderful performance they put out this evening. I am sure we all saw that. Yes we lost the match, oh yes I know we lost the match. But did we really loose this match on a normal ground? My fellow Nigerians, I know how bad things are in our country but let us put that aside for now and consider the present situation. ......RACISM, OH YES RACISM!!!! They treated us with contempt, denied us our # right in the presence of the whole world and made us look as if we are not humans. I know very well that our players struggled, of course they really struggled with everything in them, yet their efforts were ruined, ruined not by normal circumstances but with by hatred, and magnanimous racism. Yes I know I may be sounding stupid to some people but I am just expressing myself the way I feel, and I know very well that a lot of you out there are not happy with what happened today. Well, "the oil has spilled and cannot be regained". I suggest we appreciate our players for their efforts and not criticize them(using the present problems we are facing in Nigeria) because they really did well. Oh!!! It pains, it really hurts to be treated with contempt, but I know one thing. "Nothing last forever". All hail Nigeria!! All hail our players!! Racism is only a part of it. Corruption in international football, with match fixing involving billions of dollars and betting syndicates, is the prime culprit. The Nigeria game was probably thrown. In fact, in all likelihood it was. |

But in the forest bush ghetto known as Nigeria you see people come online and on radio or TV and make derogatory comments against another's tribe or religion and nothing haooens I mean even the government fails to address issues like genocide against Christian's in that septic dump of ancountry Nigeria will never I repeat never get better , the people have the leaders they deserve
Just look at how the average Nigerian comments here
All you see are unintelligent hateful derogatory comments
The mods even give excuses for such comments like afonja, ipob pigs etc
They tell you it's a joke! In Nigeria what is normally globally is seen as odd
It gives me so much joy when Nigerians wails about suffering , because frankly they don't deserve better
