Foreign Affairs › Advice To Zelensky: Surrender And Go On Holiday. by Rostikol(op): 4:24pm On Mar 04, 2022 |
Honestly. This guy should just surrender and go somewhere and chill out, let Putin appoint whom he wants as president of Ukraine.
What the Ukraine leadership should do now is to accept military defeat, and then work on their POST-Invasion response, be it in the form of civil disobedience, guerrilla warfare, political activism via say an alternative govt based abroad, etc.
But fighting man to man against Russia will just destroy their infrastructure and take many lives needlessly, in addition to resulting in their total, comprehensive defeat.
Why send your country back to the Stone Age, Mr Zelensky?
Why risk your life in what you MUST know is a Russian victory to come?
Do the right thing man, and just go. Go on holiday somewhere.
You can't fight Russia on your own.
The entire NATO is afraid to fight Russia.
It is YOU that will fight them?
OK, say you are really brave and put up a big, long fight, embarrassing Putin, guess his next move?
Nukes.
Dude....
Go on holiday. |

Dereformer: Russia must be held responsible for crime against humanity.
The same pattern of killing during the Biafran -Nigerian war is being replicated in Ukrainian/Russian hostilities.
While 100% of death on Nigerian side are soldiers, 90% of death on Biafran side were helpless women and children.
This pattern is what the world is seeing now in Ukraine. Russia derive pleasure in stuffing life out of unarmed civilians particularly women and children. While Russian soldiers are dying in their numbers. Illiterate. Use you head. Ukraine have no choice but to target Russian soldiers alone since Russia invaded with soldiers alone, and did not come with her civilians to Ukraine.
Plus I'm sure your CNN brainwashed head doesn't know that 15,000 pro-Russian, Russian-speaking Ukranian civilians in the east of the country have been killed by bombs in the last 7 years by your 'angelic' Ukraine army. |

I don't just seem to like anything about Nigeria anymore,I try to kill that feeling but it keeps coming stronger,it's not just about the government anymore but also the people,I'm from a minority tribe, the 3 majority tribes wbo have national political clout just seem to be f*** ups, they dont just do anything right, the country is so messed up,it irks me so much, their attitude and approach to life disgusts me,Nigeria as a society makes me feel trapped, like am in a prison of hopelessness, every sector is just messed up,yet people keep carrying on and enduring like it's nothing, the major tribes just compete to bring hopelessness and shame to Nigeria.People will be fighting over fuel in queues while making jokes about it,catching fun with their suffering, the major tribes who have the political clout to change things keep proping up terrible leaders and enduring massive sufferings, they do not care about their standing in the world and the standing of the black race, all they know is making fraud money, drug money ,corrupt money, making babies, eating ,drinking, singing and dancing.Common cleaniness seems like a hard thing, everywere is stinking and dirty in lagos, shoking, one can hardly breath,After messing up everywere they run abroad to slave and start worshipping whitie.Talking about Russia vs Ukraine while their country is in deep shit, they love suffering and smiling.Am getting tired of associating with these people,I want my own country.Any little achievement they make they overhype it,brag and boast, when actually it counts for little worldwide.Forgive me but the major tribes are f*** ups. Stop making Nigeria's problems your personal problems, and you'll be okay. |

Something tells me the Nigerian leadership has been looking at this Russian invasion of Ukraine and thinking, ''we better go nuclear, starting with power plants first, then later on the bomb, to avoid this vulnerability to external attack as seen in Ukraine.''
Because this nuclear power plant issue has been in the back burner for some years, occasionally spoken about in official circles, but never seriously pursued.
Until now - just a couple of days after Putin invaded Ukraine, and is now threatening to obliterate them with nuclear weapons.
Suddenly Nigeria opens bids for nuclear power plants.
It's too much of a coincidence.
I think Abuja is making a highly strategic geo-political move here.
A sharp policy uptick in the nuclear direction.
This Putin invasion of Ukraine has made them jittery.
We seem to be in a world now where anybody can just wake up and invade you for no cogent reason.
Here in Africa, we should keep an eye on South Africa and Egypt especially.
There is something about those two countries I just don't trust. If the world goes pear-shaped, and everyone starts invading the other, they could be looking to cash in with Nigeria. |
Politics › Nigeria Opens Bids For 4,000MW Nuclear Power Plant by Rostikol(op): 4:15am On Mar 03, 2022 |
The Federal Government on Tuesday said it had opened bids for the construction of a nuclear power plant that would generate 4,000 megawatts of electricity for the country.
Dr Yau Idris, Director General, Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NNRA), made the disclosure while speaking at the ongoing Nigerian International Energy Summit (NIES) in Abuja.
Idris said: “It is wrong to think that Nigeria can’t manage a nuclear power plant. There are mechanisms put in place that ensure any country can build a nuclear power plant.''
“Nigeria is trying to deliver 4,000MW of electricity through nuclear power. We are trying to construct four units and we are at the bidding stage.”
He said Nigeria had been trying to diversify its energy sources since 1977, stressing that the additional 4,000MW would increase the country’s generation capacity to about 13,000MW.
Idris said the regulatory agency has signed agreements with Russia, Pakistan, France and South Korea to build the capacity of its staff in manning the nuclear plant. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2022/03/fg-opens-bids-for-nuclear-power/

Rugaria: This is the net consequence of watching too much CNN and BBC. This is what mental colonialization has done to the biggest black nation on earth. Operation brain phuck! This is what Bob Marley was wailing about, when he asked the black man to "emancipate yourself from mental slavery".. The people you are going to die for don't rate you. The war you're jumping into, you know nothing about..
This is how our grand fathers went to fight in British wars against Germany in all sorts of places in the name of fighting the World Wars. When it was all over, the only people being celebrated as heroes of these wars are the whites and no mention is made of the black Africans who put down their lives for a fight they knew nothing about..
I have said it here many times, we need to have our own CNN, our own Al Jazeera, our own Press TV... This is a question of national security. Africans need to be exposed to world events based on pro African narratives... Because, As long as millions of black people in Africa depend on western sources for their primary sources of information, so long will their mindsets be messed up in all sorts of wrong ways... You have never volunteered to fight for Congo Kinshasa who has been fighting against a western induced war for over a decade now. A war that has killed over 6 million people. But you want to fight for Ukraine...
Ndi volunteers.. BEST NAIRALAND COMMENT EVER.
GOD BLESS YOU.
OUR PEOPLE MUST EMANCIPATE THEMSELVES FROM MENTAL SLAVERY, LIKE BOB MARLEY SAID. |

Zetra7: Assessing the unhealthy condition one has experienced in this country, I think its a wise decision to volunteer and fight for Ukriane..
First, Nigeria has no future technically. It's a broken and divided country who doesn't even have a vision cause no one believe in the country..
Buhari is receiving medical in London while the wife is in Dubai for her birthday with the wives of Governors.
Social crisis, insecurity , corruption , religious and ethnic crisis , secession threats , rituals, armed robbery, kidnapping, unemployment and so on controls every sphere of this country..
Technically , this country is also at war..
Do you want me to state the number of casualties in the past one year, it runs in 10s of thousands...
How many causalities do we have in Ukriane ?
Well let's face the fact, once taken as a volunteer, you will certainly fight, don't think this war will last long, either peace is negotiated or Russia takes over completely..
Either way, you would have served a country that will certainly reward you including the world which will honour you, as a volunteer ,you have right to stay in Ukraine if they win and eventually get your EU citizenship which is definitely coming..
Secondly, if Russia takes over the country, you can play the foreigner card and make your way to Poland. Never setting foot in Nigeria until you get the EU citizenship...
What if you get hurt in Ukriane?? Well, you can also get hurt in Nigeria.. It's still a clear 50:50 probability...
Let's see what the Embassy of Ukriane says in the coming days.. My friend shut up and go and get a job or start a business like millions of other successful Nigerians.
Mumu talking rubbish. |

Ukraine and it's government should know that their are prices you have to pay for being neighbour to certain countries
Am sure North Korea won't allow South Korea to form such alliance with NATO or Western forces neither will China allow India And even the US wont allow Mexico go into a bromance with Russia
They should learn from this and resolve the matter soon Don't mind them. They are still forming ''it is our sovereign right to do whatever we want.'' Of course the US would do exactly what Russia is doing if a pro-Kremlin regime sprang up next door to Florida. |

Nigeria’s Federal Government will from Wednesday, March 2, 2022, start evacuating Nigerian nationals who have fled Ukraine to neighbouring countries. Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama revealed this to the local TV station on Monday, February 28, 2022, saying President Muhammadu Buhari has approved funds for the airlines to evacuate Nigerians.Asked when the evacuation would begin he said “Wednesday hopefully…Air Peace and Max Air.''Onyema said there are about 8000 Nigerians in Ukraine, 5,000 of whom are students. While briefing the House of Representatives on the evacuation efforts, the minister had earlier said over 1000 Nigerians had crossed to Romania from Ukraine. He said, “We made Romania the hub and over a thousand Nigerians have crossed there. Poland has about 250, Budapest in Hungary has a similar number, Slovakia is rising rapidly. It is also around 200. Your mindset is racist, to say the least... Shut up. The so-called aid is but a tiny PITTANCE of what the west loot from Africa each year via their multinationals and capital flight & tax and royalties evasion schemes.
Not to mention the massive, 2 century long colonial looting of the continent, which enriched Europe.
Why should the world's non-white peoples, including Africans, whose lands were looted and colonized at gunpoint, not ''all run to'' the west for a ''better living''? THAT'S where THEIR wealth and money is. |
