I wnt to build a soakaway I.e d normal soakaway whereby blocks will b laid inside and casted wit cement den covered, but an old woman who sells blocks to me was advising me dat d best n cheapest method of building soakaway currently is by digging it in d form of well not too deep tho (I.e where we draw water) n put ring in it, no need to caste underneath it so to enable d faeces dry up n liquid from d faeces or urine or when we flush d toilet will escape thru d gap btw d rings.
d woman did a soakaway like dat at her block Industry.
pls does any1 here has an idea of dis method??

I know of this idea but here are the Merit and Demerit.
Merit
1. A little bit lesser to construct
2.faster to construct .

Demerit
1. Only applicable to dry and firm land area only

2. There is always back flow of ODOR into the
toilet basin and floor drain( bcs the piping system will be SINGLE STACK SYSTEM Even if its double both will still be passed into the pit)

3 During the rainy season there is possibility for the pit to over flooded and leak into any WELL or bore hole around the place (due to joint where the ring meet which will be purposely open for the foul water to Escape while placing the ring).

4. In standard building drawing this system will not be approved.

I answered the OP according to the question he asked “he only asked if the tiles is available in Nigeria which I said YES, so to buttress my point I then show pics.
Who knows if the OP wanted to ship the tiles for sales or for another purposes asides from what you have in mind.

Actually it’s not in my idea to give halve information, the OP asked if such tiles is available here I then said YES.
So I don’t want to go further on it until the op ask more questions.
