testing for leakage in plumbing pipe is very important without this, mechanical work (plumbing) is not completed.

After piping work we carry out test for leakage

Not all tank you can raise.
Some tanks are concealed into the roof( to raise such tank means you need to pull off the roof where the tanks is located).
So the type needs another method.
There was a case where tank height is about 25fts for a bungalow low water pressure occurred the client bought pressure pump the issue solved but just a little diff, he call ed on us and we did it within a day .......the client is a well know Nairalander here.

hello house,i am having a very big issue with my house..so i just constructed a duplex and the issue of water is not letting me move in yet,after putting up a scafold to the roof level and placing the tank on it,i noticed water pressure is a bit low upstairs,so i was adviced to get pressure pump,after getting that,all became okay,but the only issue with that is that once there is no light,water does not get to enter upstairs at all..please house i really do need any suggestion to help remedy this situation,are there solar presure pumps available??

This issue always attributed to story buildings and few bungalow,
There supposed to be a well mechanical plan for this from beginning, Athough there a many remedies for this
1. pressure pump( no light no pressure.
2. restructure of the piping system into the building.
3.storage tank height.

I have resolved this problem for more than 50 nairalander and non nairaland clients.

Abeg house i am still waiting for answers oo, what is the cost of constructing inspection chambers and how many do you need for a 3 bedroom flat, all rooms ensuite?

This thing is very simple
Soil pipe and waste pipe into the septic tank and suck away comes in 2 methods either SINGLE STACK OR DOUBLE STACK SYSTEM.

Your 3bedroom will have 4 toilets maximum, which mean each toilet will have ITS own chamber then the pipe will stretch to where your septic tanks is located which at least will have 3 chamber plus 2 or 3 angle of your building( this depends on how your building plan with the mechanical settings not every angles of building required chamber)
so in total you will have like 9or 10 chambers.

So what needs to be done at this point is to call your bricklayer to prepare the chamber NOT plumber and each chamber cant take more than 8 blocks means 8x10(80blocks ) you know how much is that ...then cement 2bags is enough ...then negotiate for the workmanship

What we did here is cast- in- situ method but with diff approach to the comom regular type.
linear meter cost N3500 you will buy the materials needed.(sand,cement and granite

This 3500 cover cost of casting, *steelformwork* little carpenter work, little iron bender work (if regular one cost you 600k to do 4bedrooms this method will cost you 350-400k

Please o. We are salivating. Give us more. That parapet looks very neat. Oga Rotecch, I saw aluminum parapet in one particular thread, it looks very nice and it will be light weight. Why don't builders go for it?

thanks, work is a little bit slow but in progress i will update soon.
more so there are many materials and method for parapet which builders used ( such as precast, cast in -situ, aluminium,fiber etc) but all depends on budget and choices
