I met the lady in my 100 level in the university, we have graduated and done with our one year NYSC service, I learn photography and have being surviving with it, I couldn't get any better paying job, so I decided to further my studies, and when I told her about my plans, she only said, she wish me well that she can't wait.

That was all, only for friends to start calling me telling me congratulations, was wondering what the. Celebrations until one draw my attention to her facebook wall, she was engaged last night.

Am just so pain and terrify

You got. what you deserved. You toyed with her emotions. You don't keep a lady waiting endlessly.

After six years, she still can't see where you are taking her. Abba!

You have forgotten that you are not the only good guy out there. Didn't you realise other nice and able guys might have been pestering her for a relationship.

Next time, never assume when a girl is going out with you especially a good girl, that there are no other guys out there trying to snatch her from you if they can. All it takes is for you to make the grave mistake of making her feel you are not as interested as she is. Before you know it, she is gone and you have lost her for good.

Yorubas are too blessed. Take it or leave it.

More business are realizing the viability of Ogun State. More businesses are seeing Ogun as the place to survive.

And I love it!

Ogun state is attracting new farms and industries due to road access to the market. After Lagos, Ogun and Oyo states have the largest networks of roads. The roads are not perfect though, but with the ongoing massive construction of new roads and bridges and maintenance of old ones in Ogun state, we should see further economic growth.

The problem with Ogun state right now is so many massive road projects across the state with little resources to address them. Added to this headache are a lot of communities whose roads are in a terrible state of disrepair calling for the government's attention.

With patience and continued election of development oriented and effective resource management governors like Governor Amosun, the roads and other infrastructures will be completed as works are presently ongoing on the road projects and other infrastructures.

Realdeals:
The rice pyramid might not be a hype, but Ogun state government is not doing enough in agriculture. They must have mop up the harvest from individual farmers who toiled to plant those rice without government support.
The multi-million veetee Ofada Rice plant at Itori is rotten away under Amosun nostril. No technology to support far.

In the SW, farmers go it alone without government support. You have to pay for your own land and source for your own finances all alone.

State government tends to focus more on road constructions to open up the farms to the markets due to limited resources.

Those that produce rice will show you the rice growing in the field, being planted, being harvested.
Showing you a stack of bagged rice is no proof. Go to Youtube and watch areas in Nigeria that produce rice;
with the paddy fields and all the activities of farming.

The whole story of Ofada rice is a big lie, no actual commercial rice farm exists in Ofada.

You better shut your mouth and keep your bad belle to yourself.

The word Ofada itself is actually the name of a rice growing community in Ogun state. Ofada rice has been with us for more than four decades.

What we are having today is expansion of rice production from Ofada to other communities. Ogun State today is the biggest in Agriculture in Southern Nigeria.

In terms in industry ogun is better than Delta, but Delta has more Urban Areas than Ogun.

So it depends on the factor you are using to compare.

You don't have a good knowledge of Ogun State. Infrastructural development is spread across the different LGAs of the state, same with other Southwest states unlike states in other regions where development is concentrated in a single LGA usually the state capital.

Politics / Re: Opening-up Eastern Ports To Decongest Lagos Port by Rotimik: 12:05pm On Dec 15, 2017
kettykin:
One of the greatest hindrances to efficiency at the seaports in Lagos is congestion. This is due to the incessant traffic gridlocks and bad state of the access roads to the port, thereby, making it impossible for importers to take delivery of their consignments as and when due.
The worrisome aspect of this ‘congestion’ is that apart from Apapa and Tin-Can Island seaports that handle over 85 percent of cargo imported into the country, Nigeria has seaports in Calabar, Warri, Onne and Rivers that remain under utilised. Four of these seaports put together do not measure up to one of the seaports in Lagos in terms of volume.
Ironically, the majority of shippers (importers and exporters) that use Lagos ports are located in the South East, South-South and Northern parts of country. As a result, these importers pay double in cost to move their cargo from Lagos by road to their warehouses located in their states
Here, bulk of the Lagos ports importers are constrained against their wish to import through Lagos ports since container laden vessels do not frequent the Eastern ports owing to barriers such as lack of political will to open-up these ports, shallow draft of water channels leading to the ports and security concern deterring shipping liners from patronising the ports

Considering the fact that cargo must get to the final destination at the right time, in good condition and at the most economic cost, South East, South-South and Northern importers, therefore, must use Lagos.
For instance, in terms of cost, shipping companies charge as much as N800,000 as deposit per container where the consignee’s address is outside Lagos against N150,000 if the destination of consignment is Lagos
Also, importation of some products e.g. pharmaceutical products are restricted to Lagos ports of Apapa and Tin-Can Island only, hence, the above mentioned regions with their very huge pharmaceutical markets are forced through government policy and directive to import their goods through the Lagos ports, thus leaving other ports of the regions unviable. Lagos ports are also the only legitimate ports for the export of non-oil products

Therefore, to address the problem of congestion currently rocking Lagos ports, government must start finding ways to review some import and export guidelines militating against the viability of Eastern ports. The government should also muster the political will to make the ports outside Lagos viable by addressing the infrastructural challenge facing them.

http://www.businessdayonline.com/opening-eastern-ports-decongest-lagos-port/
Waiting for FG to open up the ports will not work because of the cost of dredging .

The respective state governments should come in with private investors.

Unfortunately, state governments are avoiding the ports because they will not benefit much from their efforts, because all ports income goes to the FG to be distributed to other states.

There is no doubt that the South-East is among the least developed areas of the country – if not the very least – in terms of infrastructure, which is worsened by the virtual absence of federal projects in the region. This is one reason the Igbos of the South-East are scattered in all parts of Nigeria and the world where they contribute immeasurably to development, while their home region remains a backwater

There are very few federal roads/ project in the SW. They are barely visible.

Southwesterners takes responsibility for their own infrastructural development. We don't wait for FG to do anything for us.

We had always wanted to build Lagos/Ibadan metroline and expressway by ourselves, but denied by the anti-Yoruba Obasanjo administration.

This explains why we don't cry marginalisation. We love to take our own destiny in our own hands, not leave it for others.

You also now know why we didn't vote PDP. They were always standing in the way of our progress. Always denying us the permission to use federal right of ways to get things done, even when they had no plan to do them for us.

Religion / Re: Why Are There Many Muslims In Israel by Rotimik: 11:53am On Dec 07, 2017
To answer your question about the Al asqar mosque.

The location of the mosque is the exact location of the Jewish Temple which was destroyed by the Roman forces in 67AD, a few decades after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Jews were dispersed and the land left desolate.

Centuries later Christians built a magnificent church on the same spot until Islamic Jihadists invasion in the 600s which saw to the destruction of the church and it's replacement with a mosque.

I read a post on this forum this morning about Donald triumph declaring Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. It was stated that the population of Jerusalem is about 850000 people, with 61% jews and 37% Muslims, meaning that other religion such as Christianity, Hinduism and others are under the remaining 2%. I went to the wikipedia to browse about religion in Israel and i discovered that in their 2011 census, they had 71% jews, 16.9% Muslims, 2.1% christainsin and 1.7% druze.
Why is there a very poor population of Christians in Israel, i also read that the third holiest ground in Islam is in Jerusalem(al-aqsa mosque), behind the mosque s in mecca and medinna. I want to know why all these, there ought to be a very little number of Muslims in the state, and vice-versal for the xtains, but instead their population is increasing, from 16.9% in 2011 to 37% in 2017. Jesus Christ was a christain and came from Israel, how come there are no xtains in Israel today, why are they jews and Muslims mostly. Where does Christianity hails from, if not Israel . Why do Muslims have their third holiest land in where ought to be a christain land. All these question are going through my mind now, please who are these Jews and who are these Muslims. I need answers please.

The story is very long. The Roman Empire destroyed Israel ( 3 times 67AD, around 100AD, and also much later). They banned anyone from setting foot on Jerusalem upon the pain of death.
Christians and Jew's dispersed around the world.

Efforts of Jews and Christians to resettle in Jerusalem was further thwarted by invading Moslem Jihadists in the 600sAD.It was not until 1948 that Israel was able to recover about one-quarter of her land called Palestine-the name given to the land of Israel by its ancient Roman conquerors. The other parts of the ancient land of Israel was given to the Arabs ( Lebanon and Jordan in particular) by the British, which was the Superpower of the world when the Moslem Ottoman Empire who seized Israel from Jews and Christians collapsed after the 1st World War.

Many Jews who practiced Judaism have been moving into Israel since 1948 while Messianic Jews (Christians) live mainly in the United States and Europe.

For more information, google and download free books on the history of the dispersion of the Jews and Christianity.

I tried hard but I loose her to a rich guy who impregnated her and then dump her.

just hard to decide.

What you are feeling for her is not love because love is not feeling.

All those feelings will disappear after you marry her.

Her action towards your financial situation is the ultimate proof that she does not love you She is looking for someone to give her comfort, not someone to love.

You will surely regret it if you take her back. Forget the feelings. Feelings cannot sustain a marriage relationship.

The FIFA 2018 World Cup draw has finally been held on Friday, December 1st 2017. The Super Eagles of Nigeria has once again been drawn in the same group as our perennial foe, Argentina in Group D. Our first game , however will be against Croatia, followed by Iceland, while our third and final match in the group will be again Argentina.

Some interesting fixtures also came up. Portugal and Spain were drawn in the same group. Both teams are expected to market out of the group. The toughest group is group F where Germany will be battling it out with Mexico, Sweden and South Korea. The host Russia had a supposedly easy group which includes Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Uruguay. The opening match is between Russia and Egypt.

What do you you think. Do do think Nigeria's Super Eagles will make it to the next round. Give your advice to the team.

This is a good draw for the Super Eagles. They must get the work done in their first two matches against Croatia and Iceland by picking the maximum points from the two matches before confronting Argentina in their last Group D match .

I also hope they beat Argentina this time around as we have lost to them in our previous four World Cup encounter.

Lots of large modern buildings. Abeokuta is one of the neatest and most beautiful city in the SW.

Stop looking at 1940's pictures of Abeokuta. You need to visit the city.

Did you know that all SW states have exceeded their borrowing limits? Meaning, banks will not loan them money again. That's why they are afraid of separation as Igbos want. What are you afraid of, afonjas? The old Lagos (FCT) consists of the islands and mainland which include Yaba, Iganmu and Surulere.
