Ugosample and Co abdijan experienced travelers, I plan to travel soonest for business and my only problem now is how to handle my money as Nigerian Atm cards don't work abroad. Please I can't take a risk of going with the cash. I need a help on way out. Thanks |
Ugosample:Thanks for your contribution dear. You really did well on Traveling to Abidjan tread. I learnt a lot from there. I really would like to visit Abdijan even if not for business but I don't have anybody there and hotel will gulf much on my budget. I have people in Ghana which is why I included her in my list. I brought it here that I may have a wider view and take decision. |
@ rheether, honestly I don't have a single believe in Nigeria (individual something though). @dandollaz, that language barrier is why I am strongly considering Ghana. Though I can take French classes, download translation apps and study French books too. Thanks for your contributions. I need more detailed explanation on the two. |
Good day nairalanders. Please I have been really working on a country to settle in and do business after my Youth Service come April next month. I just checked and my POP is fast approaching, so I need to intensify my efforts not only in decision making but arrangements as well. I wouldn't want to submit applications for any job. Want to head to business straight. I have read and researched about the two countries (Ghana & Ivory Coast) but need views from people who have had experiences about the two countries. Which between the two countries will be better to settle in and do business. Please try to elaborate as much as you can. Thanks. |
Apparently jet-lagged, President Muhammadu Buhari was absent at Friday’s Jumat service held inside the mosque located beside his office in the Presidential Villa, Abuja. Buhari had, since inception of his administration, stopped worshiping at the National Mosque, Abuja, except for special occasions like Eid celebrations. He had said it was to spare Abuja residents the difficulty they always face as a result of roadblocks associated with presidential movements. Buhari had retired to his official residence after meeting some government officials including ministers and security heads at the First Lady Conference Hall. Those that observed the Jumaat service in the Presidential Villa were, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed; the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, his ADC, Chief Security Officer, and other presidential aides who are Muslims. Although no reason was given for his absence at the service, it is believed that he should be taking his rest after six-hour flight from London. http://sunnewsonline.com/breaking-jet-lagged-buhari-absent-at-jumat-service-inside-aso-rock/ |
Please house I need your help. My friend applied for a work visa in Canada which is promising by his grace. But it was stated that he will get permanent residence after three years. My question is ; can he travel out of Canada during the period of waiting for the PR? He is just bothered because there will imminent need for him to travel within that period. Please ignore my ignorance and answer my question. Thanks |
Honestly, with these arrests of journalists, I can firmly confirm and believe strongly that the raids on some judges houses and almost all the arrests taken place, including that of EFCC are all propaganda. Even if we are Still in military Era, it's too much already. Brutai should just simply come out and clear all the allegations against him because this his "action" proves that to be true. Thank God I overcame all the temptations to vote for this government even after all their useless promises |
Honestly, the relevance of this program is what I don't seem to understand. Yes, many die at home, school, church and other places but life in camp is nothing to write home about. Imagine more than 50 boys in one room. I nearly collapsed most times during my time. If not that I resorted to staying outside most times, I wonder what would have happened. All these because I was raised in the village ooooh. Now, imagine how all these daddy and mumy pets will feel. The training is absolutely of no relevance; in fact, NYSC is a scam. |
Youngestking:Electronic gadgets are allowed but If you don't intend doing business with it there I will suggest you keep it for security reasons. Though there was low/zero lost in my hotel (Ochendo) then |
Congratulation for your postings. Drop all your questions here and answers will be given. Abia we want. |
Xpol:Thanks for your prompt response. Are those wears sourced from Nigeria too? |
Xpol:Can my 800k establish me there? I do have an uncle there but wouldn't like to bother anyone. I would like to know about more prospering businesses in Ghana as well |
At times in this recent time, I just wish I am from Anambra. Vision-filled state. Proudly 042 though |
Thanks for some of your replies above. I am still keen on relocating to Abidjan after my Youth Service. 800k is all I have and I must still give it a try. Tired of this place already |
Zetra:Exact description of my girlfriend (to be Ex soonest). She is very intelligent academically but zero in relationship and the above just exactly described her. |
Hello house, I plan to come probably by March next year after my Youth Service. I have read this topic from page one to this current page. Honestly, I must commend your efforts. My plan is to come and establish a business, though my budget is low (500-800k Naira). What businesses can I start with this amount and which areas should I look forward to? Can I get a flat sharing there (I would like to start with a low life)? Lastly, owing to CBN's ban on Naira card abroad, what can be my possible means of transferring my money. By cash seems at risk to me. Please I would like to have your opinions on this as I want to intensify my plans. Need to leave immediately after my passing out. (May not withstand seeing my CV used in rapping Akara) Thanks |
Some guys are really trying oooooh! Where I serve, I don't pay for house rent, free food most times as I live with my brother but I usually finish my alawee before the alert rolls in self. (Though, I do send money to my sisters). Spend 2k on transport, #700 on CDS, others go for clothes, drinks and car fuel maintenance (drives my brother's car) |
I must commend that ACTU chairperson. I have been to her office several times and must confess; her way of handling issues is professionally amazing. God bless you mumy |
Nice of Gburugburu. I just wish Anambra contributes too |
Not minding the truths in this write up, Christians will still avoid it. But when unclad yeyebreties are mentioned, they will rush like hungry lions. God please just help us. |
Biafra or no Biafra, Nigeria can never be one. Religion and Tribalism has eaten us too deep beyond recovery. Personally, I see no reason staying together. |
franashi:I suggest you contact one of them to reschedule. |
Please someone should send to Roughd2@gmail.com thanks in advance and may God see us all through. |
I want to say this not just because I am an Igbo **** The minds of the people have been beclouded with hatred. I was at Cele express(in Lagos) in 2012. when I asked one man to shift for me on a seat that he was the only occupant there, he just told me "you no say Ojukwu don die, I will kill you here and nobody will fight for you" I quickly alighted from the bus and searched for another one. When I visited my brother in Jos, an Hausa man came to buy something from our shop and after serving him, I requested for my money. He just told me "Nyamri do don doya you think say here na your place" and threatened me. Here at Aba, one soldier and one man were misunderstanding each other one day (though the soldier was wrong) and when people gathered, they exclaimed "so na Hausa man go come here come do wetin? No one is always interested in the cause but the tribe involved . The worst is that even children now grow with it.**** |
I just wish Buhari knew the outcome of this corruption fight before stepping into the battle field. |
Politics is a game chance |
