HealthRe: Acne: How Do I Get Rid Of This? (photos) by roughdiamond(m): 4:09pm On Oct 06, 2018
NAIRALLANDER:
Hello guys, please I need your help.
I started having acne about 5years ago.
well I looked for different ways to stop it but It just couldn't stop.

When it finally stopped, or should I say reduced, I didn't know my skin was prone to keloid. When the pimples finally started disappearing, it left little scars which turned into what you're seeing in the photos below.
Please I need help or advice on anything I can do to reduce its appearance and make it less noticeable, even if it can't be removed completely.

Please I don't need people telling me " it doesn't matter what people think about you", "Just live with it, there are people whose case are worse than yours". I only need advice. And also is there anyone who can refer me to a good dermatologist so that I can go for laser treatment?

And does anyone know how much laser treatment for this scar might cost? Please forgive my long story, I'm just too self conscious and in dire need of treatment. No insults please, just advice and good recommendations, thank you.
Bro, visit a good hospital for a Kenalog injection. According to the person who recommended it to me when I treated mine "it should be taken under the supervision of a medical doctor". The one I took in Jos, the doctor/pharmacist was injecting me in the buttocks. I couldn't see any effect. Later when I traveled back home, I visited another hospital where I was given the injection at the very spot. The keloid varnished within a week. But the injection is very painful. The one at my nose area hasn't totally gone because I couldn't go back due to the pains.

Please can anyone help me with the latest transport rate. From Lagos to Abidjan.

Someone contacted me earlier and gave me a breakdown .

He said and I quote " with my virgin passport , he said I will pay up to #12,000 as boarder pass.

Hr said its cheaper when using national I.d card ,

From Lagos to cotonu #4,000
From cotonu to Abidjan #22,000

What if I decided to travel direct , will my passport be useless ,
I have gotten a teaching offer there already ,
The pay with my HND qualification is #25,000

Please nairalanders what do you think about this rated

Transport fare
And also job salary of #25,000 for a start .
The person provides accommodation
How do you plan to survive with such salary here? It may not even be enough for your accommodation alone.

Thanks for the info, u av been dere for a while now and u are not more a stranger compare to then. How will u compare business over there to naija?
Life is expensive there, what abt the earnings wen someone set up a business irrespective of the amount ventured in the business, does the expensive life worth it?
Lastly is it better to b getting goods from naija to sell there or getting it and reselling there is better?
Thanks
Whatever I write here is my personal experience.
I will choose business in Naija. Money can be made easier in Naija than here but you have all the basic amenities here. The amount you invest in your business mainly is a determinant factor of your return. It will worth it but with time. You shouldn't expect to make money the way it's made in Nigeria. Nigeria is a very rich country. Once they see you as a Nigerian here, na money go dey their minds. Though, there are many rich Nigerians here who have made too much money but how? I don't know. It will be better to source for your goods from Nigeria if you want to make reasonable gains.
This country is best for good living, comfort and rest of mind. I don't think an average Ivorian can be diagnosed of High blood pressure. They are too happy for that.

@roughdiamind, thanks for ur response I 'll like to know which area is cheap to stay in, be it a room without personal toilet or bathroom and how easy securing an apartment rather dan paying money for hotels, so Dat someone can know where and where to put leg. secondly, what and what person can buy down to resell rather dan coming with cash, and hope the SGBCI bank is still d best to withdraw from. Thanks
I will suggest you narrow your choice of accommodation location to your place of business/work. That way, you will save enough money from transportation. Transportation is not cheap unless you live close to where you can access Sortra buses. Koumassi is cheap but I won't even advise my enemy to come and live here. They highly lack good road, very dirty and most times, no direct woro woro to one's destination. I will suggest you start with a low budget house first and look for your choice with time. Due to high cost of things, settling down is always difficult and you need to concentrate more on earning a living (Business/work) first.(when I get your business area, I will advise properly on accommodation area)
You can buy many things from Nigeria and sell here (Electronics, auto parts, drinks, Naija foods etc) but selling them will be a very difficult task. Unless you have somebody already on ground willing to buy or help you sell. Yes you can still withdraw from SGBCI and BCICI bank but if you plan to come and establish a business here, I will suggest you leave your money with your Nigerian bank and come with updated banking applications that can allow you make transactions online. Almost all the Nigerian business people I know here source their goods from Nigeria. I will stop here for now. You can ask more questions where you need clarification and I will try my best.
Note : life in Naija is free compared to here

To all those asking questions about the kind of business that moves. The question will be very hard to answer. Business is very diverse and I will advise, try to get a brother or friend who is in line of the business you have in mind before coming. It will be very difficult to connect with a Helper here. Though, you maybe at an advantage if you understand Yoruba but if you want to hope on my Igbo brothers, your chances are very slim. Try to visit first and weigh the ground. I have said it before, doing business in a foreign land that you don't understand their language is a very hard nut.

1.5m for west African country?
That amount is even small. When you remove accommodation 30k-50k Naira, buy your basic things. How much do you think will be left? Besides, one will be faced with a language barrier, thereby barring you from establishing a business immediately. Though, I have heard stories and met people who came here with nothing but are already doing great. But one just has to consider the price.

Yes ,
You have to think of feeding ,accommodation, and many other expenses, getting a job in these countries aren't easy and if you are going to start business you will need huge capital ,believe me when I tell you that most of these West African countries are very expensive unlike Nigeria.
Traveling to another country and settling down comfortably and progressively goes beyond just transportation cost
This is nothing but the truth. It was here that I discovered that Nigeria is a very cheap country to live in. Whoever wants to come should please ask proper questions. Like I wrote in the past, most of the information given at the tread earlier are no longer obtainable . I have personally written enough about cost of living here, at a point it seemed like I was discouraging people. But the truth is that most Nigerians I have seen here are rich. Their sources, I am yet to know.

Roughdiamond I can perceive from here yhat you are already acclimated to life and the system there,so what is your view of life there in ivory and what are the opportunities laid out for one to tap into?
Your perception is wrong as I still encounter challenges here on daily basis. How can that be when I buy paracetamol that I used to buy 20-50Naira 200cfa, antimalaria 2500cfa, Antibiotics 8700cfa? If I should tell the truth, Abidjan is over hyped. Cost of living is just too high. Whoever wants to come should be fully prepared.

Good day every one...I just got an employment as a sales officer in a telecom company... And I am schedule to be posted to ivory coast, SAN PEDRO to be precise.....don't really know much about the place...haven't gotten enough information from google...so anyone in the house with useful info about San pedro ......please let me know...
San Pedro is outside Abidjan. I haven't been to the place and virtually don't know anyone there. But I suggest you take the bull by the horn. Arrive Abidjan and board a bus going to San Pedro at Adjame. When you get there, you look for a hotel to stay for few days and sort yourself out. Cost of living is cheaper there compared to Abidjan. I believe you can speak French already. You can as well drop questions about what you want to know about the place and I will try my best to ask friends.

Thanks in a million dear. I will just find a way and contact my school.
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by roughdiamond(m): 11:32am On Dec 29, 2017
Application requires uploading some documents:
1Copy of your most recent diplomas, with a translation of the diploma in French or English.
Certified
2 copy of the final grades obtained for all University Studies.
3Copy of grades obtained so far for this academic year, and date by which you can provide your final grades (final transcripts will be needed for admission).
4Recommendation letter(s). You can submit up to three recommendation letters (print on letter head, and submit using the on-line tool (uploads)
Ogatboy and the gurus, please help explain 2&3 for me. I think 3 is my academic transcript.
On 4, I am not applying from Nigeria, so meeting with my academic Lecturers for the letters will be difficult. Though, I can contact my HOD. Can recommendation letters outside my school be accepted?

Aren't you supposed to be talking about basic communication in your daily activities like eating, transportation etc. I wouldn't want to recall how I managed to eat my first meal here. That amount,is it in naira or cfa?
The amount is in Naira. Houses I have seen; one room 30-35k cfa, self con 50 - 80k. A friend that stays in two rooms apartment pays 60k cfa per month. Anyone thinking of coming here should know that things are highly expensive. I am not trying to discourage anyone but it will be nice to have the clear picture before embarking on the journey to avoid regrets.
