GAR3TH: But just for the record, like I said before on this thread and others, WHAT DO GAY PEOPLE 3000 MILES AWAY CONCERN YOU. DOES THE NIGERIAN ECONOMY CRASH BECAUSE OF GAY PEOPLE OR DOES THE PRICE OF OIL TRIPLE OR IS CORRUPTION CAUSED BY GAY PEOPLE? WETIN CONCERN YOU ABOUT THE LIVES OF SOMEONE ELSE 3000 MILES AWAY OR EVEN YOUR NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR. NOTHING!!! people are just sticking their noises into arguments that wont even affect them nor the country. Thats just being an instigator and a bigot. If gay marriage is past or not or if obama approves of it or not who cares, life still goes on as usually and nothing will change. Hence why I and many others find it !funny that many people are so sentimental about this issue even though it does not involve them. this hole gay marriage thing is blown out of proportion by people who have nothing better to do.It concerns us because society is bound to frown at deviant behaviors. Any behavior that doesn't conform to the norms and values of society will be spoken against, rejected and condemned. Why do they seek recognition and acceptance if it is ok? Nobody has come out to say all the other sins you listed in your other thread are right. Just as nobody has come up to seek recognition and acceptance of them. People still speak against them and condemn those practices just like they are speaking agianst gay marriage now. People will continue to speak against gay people and condemn their behavior whether you like it or not. If they must indulge in their filthy acts, they should do it in hiding like adulterers, robbbers etc |
Why take snapshot of de interior from outside? Is de car not urs? |
U need to post the asking price up here. That, i think, is a better way to generate the interest of those who can afford it or who feel its not too far from there budget, to ur thread. ![]() |

Another reason why dey couldn't help but remove subsidy is cos governors have refused 2 accept/collect their monthly statutory allocation except subsidy deduction from de federation account is stopped. The quantum leap in subsidy money from 300 billion to 1.3 trillion made no sense to them (governors) and de fed govt couldn't come up with an acceptable explanation. |

@ Poster I have been patiently going through the thread trying to read all the comments before i chip in my own two kobo. Thank God, there is really no need for that now. I was going to advice you to listen to advices from peeps like moremi2008, Rossike, Akindayor, OAM4J, mutter, Yemi313 and of course, chaircover rather than defend ur actions and push blames to ur husband. I am happy u listened, did a deep sober reflection (wit an open mind), realised some of ur mistakes and made a good decision. I had almost about the same scenario in my marriage of five years. Unfortunately, mine didn't have a happy ending like urs cos it ended in a divorce about three weeks ago. The difference between u and my ex wife is dat, while u were open minded and listened to advice even wen they seem harsh and against wat u think or feel, my ex wont listen to any advice that is against wat she think is right. I'm also happy dat u took time to really listen to him this time, cos the tendency most time is to form an opinion or jump to a conclusion such dat watever the other party is saying would seem like a waste of time to u. This is just the first step and it is good to know dat u've resolved to work harder at it. Keep it up and i wish you good luck and God's presence in ur marriage. |

Layonz, could you, pls, post more pictures of the interior? How long has it been used in Naija and why is the owner selling? |
Jesus said it is not what goes into a man that defiles him but what comes out of him. In essence, it is not the taking of the alcohol that is a sin but what you do after taking it. I drink beer, go home and eat dinner, make love to my wife and go to sleep. I've never felt like a sinner cos as far as i'm concerned i've committed no sin. Those of you that are saying it is difficult to drink in moderation hence the need to abstain completely should as well stop all forms of interaction with the opposite sex cos of the fear of committing fornication. Drink if you want to but drink responsibly. ![]() |
could you please, send pictures to my mail box: roughlen@yahoo.com ? |
tosyne007:There's nothing strange here cos nobody ever gets to know another person inside out. Besides, people change. @ poster Pray and fast hard for her to change back to who she use to be. Also, talk to her and try to get to the root of her attitudinal change. |
spikedcylinder:@ spikedcylinder and silat What is "ajeokuta ma momi"? I've heard that phrase a number of times but still don't know what it means. |
@ Biina and Ilelobola I quite agree with your suggestions but it will be a great mistake on my part to attempt to give her a lecture on financial prudence or give any impress that she is not financially prudent as that will only call for some serious tongue-lashing and more name calling. Unfortunately, that is the kind of woman i'm married to. Thanks anyway for your advice. |
@ Ileloba If she is my responsility and i have to provide for her personal needs then what is she doing with her salary? If she is saving it for the rainy days, shouldn't i, as her husband, know of it? If that is the case, i'll simply advise her to use part of it to meet her personal needs. The amazing part of it all is that before the middle of the month she's already broke and asking me for money for one thing or the other esp. when she's really pressed and has no where else to turn to. Meanwhile, when she's comfortable or think she can manage she'd say i should know when she has needs and not wait for her to ask. You see, after taking care of the domestic needs, maintaining my car, paying the bills etc i have little or nothing else left for myself not to talk of paying an allowance. I survive the rest of the month on allowances i get here and there in the course of my work which i cannot guarrantee. This is why i denied her the allowance and asked her to table her problems as they arise. I don't think that is too much to ask of my wife. All i expected from her is understanding and not name calling. Of course, i have siblings in school that i send money to ocassionally but only when they ask and i have the money at hand. |
Ilelobola:Why do you keep ignoring the part where i said she works and doesn't contribute to the upkeep of the home. Let me make this a little bit clearer to you. She works as a contract staff with one of the Banks and earns about 45k monthly which is about what i earn too. Like i said earlier, she keeps all that money to herself and i provide all that the family needs: from diapers to rent. Even when she has cause to buy anything that has to do with the upkeep of the home in my absence, she ask for reimbursement and i'll give her. I don't have any problem with her keeping her money to herself cos i consider it my responsibility to provide for my family, however, my grouse is with having to still give her an allowance for her personal needs. |
You are a lucky man, she should have chopped your clothes and made them into disposable sanitary towels. You deserve every name she calls you though I don't know what 'akagum' means. @ Ilelobola 'akagum' is used to refer to someone who is considered very stingy and finds it very difficult to release money. In my post i said she works and earns enough to take care of all her needs and she doesn't contribute a dime of her income to the upkeep of the home. So what could she be doing with her money that she'll find it difficult to buy disposable sanitary towels. And will you consider it easier for her to chop my clothes and make disposable sanitary towels of them than to ask me for money to buy them? |
