@OP I've gone through your entire and since you created it in October you've been all over the place looking for who to come to your aid. For your information, nobody is having it easy in this present economy but you don't see everybody running all over the place begging. You have to man up, tuck out your balls and get out their to hustle like a man. Come on. You are even a lawyer. A career that opens up vast opportunities if you learn to think outside the box. My friend, get out there and change your life. Nobody is having it easy and nobody will leave their thousand and one problems to come give you a hand out. Your question now should be... What services can i offer people now that they can pay me money for? Not who will give me a job. Man up jor. It's annoying. |

When I say Nigerians are the worst hypocrites in this universe, it will seem as if I'm being something else. So nobody around there could take this man, even if it's to a chemist to be treated just because of the 'he is not related to me' syndrome. I'm so tired of hearing the stories and news of killings here and there. The worst is that we are beginning to see them as normal occurrences. Our security agencies really need to sit up and carry out their responsibilities. My guess is that, that won't be happening anytime soon unless we learn to hold our leaders responsible and accountable. |

For the sanity of your online business stay away from Nigerian hosting companies. I learned my lesson the hard way years back. Reach out to a foreign host, and ask them to initiate a transfer of your site from the Nigerian host to thiers. They will gladly do so if you buy a hosting plan from them. 1 Like |

Nreebge:We live in a world of skills and certifications and not university degrees. Eg, have you heard of cloud computing before now? It is a tech skill and most people in the field earn at least 500k and above. Combine tech skill with management skills and you will be a hot cake. Go acquire hardcore tech skills and certifications. I just finished reading this content on nairametrics. The truth remains that you don't necessarily have to leave this country to make it in life. Oh and the notion that there is no good jobs around is a big lie. There are lots of good high paying jobs around. The question is, have you built yourself to land these jobs. These are not the jobs you get with your basic BSC from most Nigerian Universities. A lot of you waste your time here being tribalistic while forgetting to add value to your self. Oh, in case you don't know, all these tribal battles most of you engage in have turned this platform to a playground. Most people looking for serious people don't come here anymore. I was talking to an HR consultant days back and she was looking for peeps to fill in some job vacancies with take-home of 500k and above monthly. I suggested she check on nairaland. She simply told me you don't see such calibre of people on nairaland. That she comes here only when she's looking for people for unserious roles like drivers, admin assistants and similar low ass jobs.
