The Peoples Democratic Party has denied the purported election of Senator Aidoko for the Kogi Eastern Senatorial District.
A statement issued in Lokoja on Wednesday, signed by the Returning Officer, Sam Abenemi, the State Secretary of PDP, Faruk Yahaya, and the State Publicity Secretary, Bode Ogunmola, said no primary was held to return a Senatorial candidate for the Kogi East Senatorial District.

The party however, said that after due consultations with the electoral officials from Abuja, the returning officer and state officials of the PDP, it was resolved that the MoU allegedly signed by the PDP with APC Senators was not applicable in the Eastern Senatorial District.

This, he said, did not allow for any affirmation as demanded by the officials from Abuja.

The statement said that the party in Kogi State, therefore, advised the general public to disregard the purported primary election.

It said that the party leaders, in persons of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris and Capt. Idris Wada from the district were all in Idah on Tuesday and there was no election held in the Local Government Area.

“The state PDP therefore, called on its members to remain calm as efforts are being made to redress the issues surrounding the purported election and result.

keep quiet. when you own a company someday you wont make such a senseless comment. i have worked as a supervisor before and i know how difficult things can be when an employee skips a days work for any reason. workload would increase and i have to run around trying to fill that gap, sometimes i have to even do his job myself. if he had applied for a day off thats a different case but he lied. nobody wants lairs around them because they are usually thieves.

The man was the last man standing in Osun PDP after other heavy politicians left the party....he kept hope alive. The Adelekes were in APC that time. Isiaka died, the dancer contested for senate first in APC and decamped after the ticket eluded him. He found succor in PDP and is today a senator. Had he not defected, PDP would have had another candidate and within a short time, the decamped bread and butter dancer
displaced other party men in the race. Has PDP not tried for this spoilt kid who is at best a dumb dancer?
Out of greed, he pounced on the guber elections and emerged the flag bearer in a most controversial commando and gestapo manner that soon saw other aspirants leaving the party they had nursed while some guy was dancing in the States. Omisore of cause left the party for SDP and others petitioned the NWC to no avail.

Omisore's working for APC is just a noble engagement.
