As evident in this article, the problem Nigerians have with corruption and stealing is that the loot has not gotten to them? Many of Hushpuppi's neighbours have no issues with the source of his wealth, they are upset he was not generous with it.

U just hit the nail on the head!
The candid truth is this country's case don pass be careful! Average majority of Nigerians already have a corrupt mindset!

Religion / Re: When You Are Now Addicted To Pornography by Royalbloodline: 3:02pm On Jul 05, 2020
Interesting15:
The reason porn platforms are still in business is because they are still getting much patronisers and viewers (hence, still making money). But a revival is coming soon, and these porn platforms will be forced to close - as people will no longer be interested in pornography (as well as other sinful ventures), and powerful entities will use their influence to cleanse their territory of pornography..

If you are a child of God reading this, please, pray for a revival of holiness.. Also contribute your quota in helping people break free from porn (start from where you are, with what you are).

Also, use your resources to sponsor persons and platforms that preaches purity and chastity. This are some of the things God expects from you.

As much as I want to follow u to say Amen to the "a revival is coming" speech of yours, I can't but help desist from doing so. Cuz if indeed u read and understand the Bible well, u will know that absolutely no revival is coming to cut the works of the devil in these end time. Until rapture.

There has always been fornication and pornography even in the times of Jesus, the only difference now is the internet. Which makes it a bit more accessible.

For bodies which date back to medieval times, it's funny to see how well preserved they still are. One would think eventually bones turn to dust, but even fossils of cavemen and dinosaurs are physically strong despite time passage. With satellites that penetrate solid objects, giving almost a clear view of going ons inside buildings, why aren't all these grave sites found in their hundreds/thousands?

Where do u want to place ur focus? That is the question. To focus on a building is much easier. To start searching the entire world landscape is an impossible task

I said it some weeks back here,

we have a less aggressive strain of the virus here in Nigeria, it has gone almost round (esp in Lagos) and people have survived on their own.

Only if we want to deceive ourselves, this virus is not as serious as it seems in Africa.
Damn the transmission rate when the death rate is very low.

Our government needs to stop squandering and diverting funds in the name of isolation. Only those with severe cases should be admitted and treated.

less than 600 deaths in 4 months, mosquito bites kill more than that.

U have said it all!

I just laugh whenever I hear people say God forbid that they have covid! No be for this same Nigeria wey we dey? Where we have not even tested 0.1% of the populace!
Where lockdown and social distancing has been only on paper!

Just get tested and u will know u already have it and have been carrying it on and off over the past 4months.

Let's just pray we don't get a virulent mutant of the virus here! If that happens the game might change

Meanwhile I don't understand the wisdom behind the need for all these artificial fans in stadiums. As a footballer, I would rather play in a totally empty stadium, than to be watched by static mannequins while playing. It's really creepy and will affect concentration.

Are you planning an upcoming building project and don't have a decent plan yet? Contact me to design the complete building drawings (architectural, as well as securing structural, mechanical, electrical and Bill of Quantities) all at VERY decent costs. Yes I agree with you completely, but that is at the beginning phase. At a particular stage in a players football career, the presence of fans begin to count so much. The hailing, booing, roaring and "Ahhing" becomes an essential part of the game.

HeadShot:

Lagos would be locked down not a national lock down .. They need to isolate the worst hit region

And how do u ascertain the worst hit region? By results of the selective tests you have been getting all over the place?

We are just deceiving ourselves in this country!

For all I know some states shouting NO CASES could have more cases than Lagos and KANO put together!
But we will never know! Why?
Because zero to low testing are being carried out there!

OK, take for instance Oyo state that was recording 2,3,0,5 cases daily overtime recorded over 30 positive cases in one day just because a company decided to screen all its staffs!

This is what is going on in Lagos daily, reason why they keep getting more positive results.

In essence my point is, we are way beyond the phase when lock down can possibly work.

And lockdown without aggressive testing and isolation of infected individuals is a complete waste of time

How many people have died in Madagascar after drinking it and how is the virus right now in Madagascar. Oga put your ego in your pocket and accept the herbal remedy

The point here isn't about people dying from the usage of the drug. It is more about people developing artemesia drug resistance as a result of abusing the Madagascar tonic.

Before you certify something as a safe drug, you have to look at short term results as well as long term.

Hope u get?

It Is amazing how this virus is having very similar characteristics with the malaria infection!

Symptoms are very similar. Only that Corona comes with additional symptoms such as dry coughs, respiratory distress/difficultiez in breathing, organ failures etc.

Both infections are responding to same active ingredients Quinine and artemesia.

To have ordinary malaria Is now a problem o my people!

And Corona has come to stay!

In a matter of years people would be treating Corona along side malaria. Just as we treat Thyphoid along side malaria already.

God help us

This is a very unusual situation, I've made an attempt to ask even the oldest of the old around, they've never experienced anything like this magnitude in the name of a pandemic so don't blame the government too much if they never envisioned this kind of a pandemic.

Now as a people, what do you do, what do I do? Fine, the government didn't plan for this but Thank goodness the government is at the very least, reacting. That's some effort. What do the people do? Simple instructions we cannot follow it!

If you do your bit, and I do mine and the 'visionless' government does it's bit, We will get there but might take a bit longer. Compare that to when the government does it's bit, and you and I refuse to do ours, we will never get there!
Thank God some of us can work from home, I can't imagine myself in those public places with such level of rowdiness. If the LASG thinks another lockdown is the needful then they should go ahead.

It is not every blame that we place on the door of the government. The governed too should stand up and make it count!

You are right to some extent, but I have to disagree with you on the fact that the government is reacting!

That is a big error of interpretation!

This government is clueless!!

What u are seeing is just a fake response to fill in the media and make it look as if they are on top of the situation!

When in actual fact they are not!!

I refuse to go back to where their error started from, the origin (failure to close borders on time or enforcing quarantine of incomers). Let's just assume the virus would still have made its way in, considering it's ease of spread.

The virus is here already, what is the way out? That is the question the government needs to be addressing.

Till date no new hospital has been built in any state!

With less than 4k cases we are already screaming NO BED SPACE!

We have tested less than 30k citizens out of a whole 200m plus!

No palliative plan for the citizens. No security, nothing!

Even lock down u cannot properly enforced!

Interstate lock down has been a complete failure!

No plans on getting a local viable treatment for the infection

So No, I completely disagree with u!

THE GOVERNMENT HAS FAILED AT ALL LEVELS!!

If u don't understand this virus just read and stop following people to shout lock down!

The cases u discover today may haVe been there for over 2weeks! It didn't just jump there in one day!

If Nigeria test adequately we will get over 100k cases in one day!

This thing is already in, the government has been complacent in handling it from the start!

Of what use is locking people infected already in their homes with uninfected ones?!
When u apparently won't be testing the masses to isolate the infected ones as soon as possible to prevent spread!

Those shouting lock down obviously have empty skulls!

I wish we could see the number of tests conducted on each day broken down by state so we can actually interpret these figures.

If a state is testing more people, a large number of new cases is not so alarming. If a state tested almost nobody, a low number is not reassuring.

Brilliantly put!

In actual fact this has been the real issue we are faced with. Zero to low testing across the country!

Lagos will most definitely continue to have highest number of cases for obvious facts which we all know. However, we are only getting to know on paper because they happen to be the only state carrying out fair to average number of testing of their citizens daily.

Other states are either busy playing politics, doing tests with mobile app, or simply carrying out zero to low testing and only for individuals show serious symptoms.

In truth, we have a long way to go.....

I can tell u for a fact that number of positive cases in Nigeria at this instance is well over 100,000!

Believe it or not, it doesn't change the fact!

Nigerians/African are unexplainably very lucky.

We have an unknown and not yet explainable underlying immunity which is strongly help us fight against this virus!

That is the obvious truth!

If not so our deaths will have surpassed USA by now.

An alarming number of people are already infected, they are getting healed without even knowing they got it.

We are getting what we voted for.

Well said!

That is the reason why u must know for a fact that Nigeria will keep getting these kinds of leaders till eternity!

Don't waste your prayers, the percentage of sensible Nigerians who cAN think outside the one Congo of rice bribe is less than 5 percent!

vanvicker:
I hardly comment on posts, but I had to respond to this.

I believe there are lots of wrong in this country. COVID19 is real in fact very real, but the way our government is handling it is such a pity. The effectiveness of a lock down is to conduct massive testing, but it's so sad that in a country of over 200million population we can only conduct about 2,000 tests per day this alone has defeated the aim of the lock down. In as much as I don't support total lock down, Nigeria may result into another lock down if the figures keeps spiking. But before a new lock down is put in place if need be, then the so called NCDC should increase their testing capacity to about 10,000 per day which will lead to better containment of the epidemic, but if you want to lock us down and still keep up with your minute and useless less than 2,000 tests per day then they are bunch of Jokers.
You have just said the entire truth!

We are joking in this country!
U talk of lock down and u do not careybout massive testing to remove the infected and isolate them away from the populace, what then are you doing?

Plain deceit!

We are not even testing 10k daily.! That is a lie. If by now we have only done 18k+ in the whole country of 200million. It tells u of how pathetic this country is.

U tell people to stay at home, in a house of 4flats or face me I face you for example. If one individual is positive, then the whole house inhabitants gets infected. Even if they are 50people in that house!!!

Sometimes I just wonder if we just love doing things backwards in this country
