You can find it hypocritical but that's your opinion. The bible tells us that the spirit of God bears witness with our spirit that we are Gods sons and thus are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ! If the spirit has borne witness with his spirit and tells him he is a true son of God, working what is acceptable to God, who are you to tell him otherwise or call him a hypocrite? Face your own walk with God and pray for an outpouring of the holy spirit and stop judging others!
