You don't see anything about it right?
Try this Mr k2039......
Imagine having a car, u just bought it and u feel so good the first day. Counting a whole year after, then someone buys u a new one exactly a year after. How would u feel? Like its just another car? Or u would be grateful?

usermane: Man u really felt that insult. You must have been taken aback to hear such unfriendly words although not judging u, i can't believe u found that traumatising
Yes I felt super surprised she called me that, just because of an argument. I don't know something about that word bastard I just find it too offensive and traumatic to call someone or be called such.

My next traumatic experience was when I was growing up in the secondary school. I had a school son in the hostel who was always tagging along with me to town....which was illegal....and through the fence. It so happened that after I had left the school, about 4yrs later when he was just in SS 1, he was shot by night guards outside the school fence who assumed he was a thief for climbing a fence at night!! His legs are not equal till today. Each time I see him with his limp, I feel terrible, cos I believed I taught him how to steal out of school to buy some nonsense food in town. Now I always try avoiding him. So painful.

Add blackberry messenger to the list too Mac.
Its quite a temptation among youths of these days. When u get bombarded every minute and hour by a particular person...u tend to grow fond of such person more than ur partner u see once in a while.
Maturity is the key word. It takes great energy to stay focused on a relationship with all the distractions around!!!

The most traumatic day of my life was the day someone I loved deeply called me a foool and a bastard all in one breadth!! I felt like killing someone, even though she begged with tears and tried to make ammends, my mind was off her already. 3 weeks later we parted ways. Just can't stand calling or being called a bastard.

RomanceRe: How Do You Know If Your Partner Is “the One” For You? by RoyalRoy(m):
Yomieluv: By asking my Pastor to direct me.
Never, I repeat, never ever let your pastor or anyone be the one to pick ur life partner for you!!! If u can't pray to God yourself then follow ur inner instincts.

I believe that having or knowing your life partner does not have any basic signs or foresight...it is all based on two people who are both in love and ready to compromise for each other. Ready to sacrifice and ready to forgive each other. Anybody can be your life partner....even that ex you dumped, only if both of u were ready to make sacrifices for each other!
FamilyRe: When One Partner Cheats, Who Should We Blame? by RoyalRoy(mod): 3:57pm On Dec 28, 2012
Cheating I believe is not a two way thing. Some people are bound never to be satisfied with what they have! I used to have this attitude way back....that I can never have just one gf, in case she messes up, I always have a back up. It so happens that after meeting a very good girl...I still cannot let go of the others.
In my opinion...I will say a partners attitude to a relationship may cause the other partner to stray but never put the blame on him or her. Communication can surely erase those "devil pushing hands".

SportsRe: Osaze Proposed Himself As Eagles' Captain. by RoyalRoy(m): 11:51am On Dec 24, 2012
Foolish Keshi...allowing personal issues to cloud his professional judgement.
If he has technical skills, he should be able to see a potential playmaker in Osaze. He is supposed to be converted into a 10. He has pace, passes accurately, uses both legs and not afraid to run on any defender. If he plays 10 and Mikel plays 4, won't we see a more fluid and attacking Super Eagles side? Instead of the Eee...Eeee...Wooo style we are used to. Bloody idiot Keshi...no technical skills nothing. The same way he refused to field Emanuel Adebayo in Togo....and sure he lost his job afterwards!!!! F-O-O-L.

Hmmm...this is a car I USED to love until a friend of mine bought it.
The car engine gave him hell. He changed the engine twice and now he has gotten a 3rd engine which is a Toyota Camry99 engine and gear.
Overall the car has too many issues..shocks wear out too soon, the trunk door has a glass that usually winds down when u want to open it, and now av seen 3 different ones that the rear glass is stuck which means they can't open it no more.
From all these experiences, I will advice you to forget about this fancy hell car.

FamilyRe: I Am Not Happy In This Relationship by RoyalRoy(mod): 6:49am On Nov 15, 2012
CrazyMan: Low self esteem...you have to work on this.

What do you mean by this...how can you not call someone, and claim you want to make them happy. huh

You can be passionate about your business, and still show care to those you love...your business shouldn't be an excuse for your failure to live up to your responsibilities as a man.

Most women want to be loved and taken care of....you can't exhibit a nonchalant attitude towards someone you claim to love, and expect her to remain mute...she would definately be worried.

If you love her as you claim, then I would suggest to devote more time to that relationship and spend more time with her.

Who elso do you expect her to run to?

You don't call her, you don't assure her of your undying love...why shouldn't she be worried...her father is the best friend she's got at the moment.

And if you see that as a problem, then you obviously aren't as matured as you claim to be.

If you want to be happy, you can start by making her happy...

Good luck.
Bravo Analysis. +1000

CrazyMan: There are two options for this act....its either his wife is more successful than he is, thereby making life miserable for him, or he's a widower...cos no sane man would engage in such.
Hmmm...nice thoughts.
Well I guess I can carry MY OWN baby anytime, anywhere, but surely not tied to my back!
Better ways to "care" for your child than going the "feminine" way!
FamilyRe: I Am Not Happy In This Relationship by RoyalRoy(mod): 5:28am On Nov 15, 2012
I guess OP is not serious!! How can u go days without calling her and ur friends? And here u still complain of being lonelyhuh? That does not make sense!

On the other issue, I will say never....I mean NEVER get associated with a woman who does not believe in ђãt u do for a living! Cos when things get tough, she will surely tell you to abandon your dream instead of standing by you to see the weather through!

Be happy its her father she runs to for advice and not some of her friends or mother. After all its her dad who encouraged her to stay with you with your kind of job! He is a sensible person....mothers are on the other hand sentimental....they will most likely take sides with their daughters!

Lack of proper training and maybe fear must have been a factor her. They must be relieved to know the thieves were gone only to start shooting at innocent people.
CrimePolicemen Shoot Robbed Banker, Security Guard In Lagos by RoyalRoy(op): 5:45am On Nov 12, 2012
The fear of Naija police men is the beginning of wisdom.....

An employee of Access Bank Plc, Mr. Femi Badejo, and his security guard, Joshua Moses, were shot by policemen in Lagos on Saturday after they responded to a distress call about a robbery at the banker’s home in Ikota area of the state.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the robbers had attacked Badejo and his neighbours around 4am and one of the neighbours made a distress call to the police, but by the time the policemen arrived about an hour later, the robbers had fled.

Badejo said he and his neighbours were in the compound discussing what had transpired when the policemen stormed the building and started shooting sporadically.

He is currently receiving treatment at St. Nicholas Hospital, Lagos Island.

Badejo said, “I live in a one-storey building and there are four tenants occupying the ground floor. Around 4am, armed robbers stormed our house.

“The robbers robbed all of us occupying the ground floor. They stole my clothes, money, phones and other valuables. While the robbery was ongoing, one of the tenants called Maroko Police Division.”

Badejo said after the robbers had fled, scores of policemen arrived at the house while one of them started shooting indiscriminately, adding that he was hit five times.

He said, “We (neighbours) were all inside the compound counting our losses when we heard a slam on the gate. Immediately the security guard opened, one of the policemen started shooting indiscriminately.

“The security guard was shot in the pelvis and in the back but the bullet pierced through his chest. I immediately took cover under a car but the policeman came to where I was and started shooting at me.

“Another policeman came behind me and shot. The first shot came through my feet and fractured my leg. Two shots grazed my thighs. Another shot went through my biceps and came out, while one went through my wrist.

Badejo added that it took the intervention of the other neighbours as well as the Divisional Police Officer of the station to prevent him from being killed.

Badejo and the injured guard were immediately rushed to the hospital. The guard was subsequently transferred to General Hospital, Broad Street, and then Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja. He is said to be in a critical condition.

One of our correspondents learnt that Badejo was scheduled to give a lecture at a summit organised by the bank on Saturday.

According to a colleague who craved anonymity, the company executives were curious when he did not show up as scheduled.

He said, “Badejo is in Total Quality Management Department at the head office. He is part of the team working on the 21st century transformation which the bank is working on. He was supposed to deliver a lecture at 8.30am but when we did not see him, we began to wonder what went wrong.

“It was not until later that we received words from one his relatives that he was shot by policemen.”

Badejo, who berated the police for lack of professionalism, said, “When the policemen came into the compound, they didn’t even ask any questions. One of them just started shooting. Even the armed robbers did not even assault me, they only took my belongings.”

On Tuesday, a commercial motorcycle rider, Adigun Atilola, was shot by a policeman at Ilupeju during the clampdown on okada riders. The following day, a policeman, Oluwatiyesi Gboyega, also allegedly shot and killed a bus conductor during an argument over N50.

A call placed to the spokesperson for the state police command, Ngozi Braide, on Sunday was not answered and neither did she reply a text message sent to her on the shooting of the banker and securityman.
