KENNSAMMY: nawa o! does it mean my people are so rich that they don't evenfucking care how much fuel their cars consume?Lollllzzz . I guess people didn't really understand most of the stuff u wrote up there!! . By the way....my own style of measurement include....using my fuel to the just the point where it begins to blink the yellow light for reserve....I then buy a fuel of maybe half-tank....of course I already know the capacity of my full tank.....then....I get to check my mileage before going on a trip. . I use my fuel with my A.C on through out....and when my fuel balances at exactly quarter of a tank....I check my odometer for mileage reading!! . From that I can calculate how much fuel per litre I use for a mile & then for kilometres!!!!! |
Hehehe......... Married men know that the source of their pot belly is the handiwork of their wives in the kitchen.... While single guys mostly get that from alcohol . Married men know that the money they make is not for them to spend alone but singles guys spend it all on themselves!! . Married men know that it is irresponsible to be coming home 11pm on Friday or Saturday nights while single guys don't know!! . Married men know that having a good wife helps him in achieving a lot of his dreams while single guys don't know!! . Ps...am not married...I just know these things!! |
khiaa: Why is it a stupid question when I am not nigerian and I am trying to learn?Never mind the ill-bred dude! . Toasting is a slang used in place of wooing a lady...to get her to be ur girlfriend! Have you per chance come across some people on nairaland with exceptional weird behaviour? They don't argue against the tide, they don't abuse the other forumites, but they just are in a world of their own!! Sometimes their comments are meaningless to the general topic & atimes they make sense after you spend so much hour trying to comprehend what they are talking about!! Here are the few ones av met...u can add yours!!! . 1. Musiwa.....a dude in the politics section. Quite in his own world...creating topics with no concrete meaning, believing he is god and a prophet at the same time!!! . 2. Calloti.....aka....Blazzay...aka....Almond De Joy...aka....DaDewDrops NvS.....aka...jellitah....aka....Sinachi.....he/she is of the Family section. Its interesting to know that this person with multiple monicker really understand what the topic is all about unlike Musiwa.....but she/he goes into so much fantasies & details only s/he understands. S/he writes a lot of funny & confusing statements that after a while u give up on trying to understand him/her!!! And she uses all his/her monickers in one single thread....and the result? Derailing the thread!!! Let's know the few ones u've come across!!! |
How Did Super Eagles Match Affect Your Family? I have always followed with enthusiasm the genuine passion most Nigerians have for soccer! I want to know how the match of today(February 3 2013) against Ivory Coast affect your family! . . As for me, I watched it with my old folks...and typically there was celebration after the match! My old man went to his "store" to bring out one giant bottle of Santyago Red Wine! It was drink galore. Conservative Mumsy took a full glass cup too! Let's hear yours!!! |

Always believed I will marry my Primary 1 class teacher. * I thought my dad was the most powerful man on earth & could beat everybody...I mean anybody * I believed I could gum enough chicken feathers together to make me fly some day! * I pursue birds away when I want to eavesdrop so they don't make a song out of our gossip to everyone! *i always believed by the time I am 20yrs old....I would have a wife...a kid...a car & my very own house....hehehe....20yrs was like 6oyrs to me! |
slimyem: You are going to have to live with it.Is this Slimyem of early 2012? Funny how I noticed a sudden increase in ur maturity all of a sudden. Well....I guess lots of life's experiences wl make one aspire to be a better person! Kudos to the new you!!!! |
cotton101: can you not buy your own ipad and blackberry,Hehehe....and your brother will allow you chase away his love? On a serious note....I think poster is doing well on her own! Why lose a blackberry with 80k and you still can afford to buy another one of 40k? You should be happy you can take care of yourself. Am sure you believe cos he earns 8 times ur salary he must share it with you abi? Wrong!!! Wait until you marry, sit down and draw a plan together how u want to run ur house. Right now its a bit hard but true...his money is his money and u can't force him to share it with you. However, if u ain't okay with it then walk away. Maybe u meet a yahoo yahoo man who will spend all his money on you & his friends in just one week. Good luck!!! |
lonelydora: The bigger the engine capacity, the faster the car, which means more fuel consumption, and less engine vibration. For example, depending on the make of the car, 3.5l might be making 21miles/gallon while 1.8l might be making 30mile/gallon. i drive a 3.0l V6 accord. I love the car and will never go for a 4-cylinder car again. That's so good to know! Thanx for the explanation. I am a firm lover of v6 engines...just didn't know much about the engine capacity part of it. Am well convinced now that a bigger capacity engine will do the magic. Damn the fuel consequences....the thrill will surely be worth it. |
ba7man: @Royal Roy. Those figures represent the engine's size. Its the total displacement of your engine's cylinder ie Bigger displacement, bigger piston chambers or more pistons. Eg 1.8L(litres) is smaller engine size than 3.5L. So 1.8L engine is slower, consumes less fuel and has less torque since its smaller. The 3.5L is faster and consumes more fuel.Thanx...good to know. A faster engine with more torque is all I ever wished for in a car....guess a 2006 Maxima with 3.5l V6 engine will be on point. Blaze like a shooting star!!!!! |
