So if I book a flight and the site has refused to charge me for the flight even after I called them and told them my account hasn't been debited, instead they send me confirmation e-mails and itinerary and assure me that I have been charged, even though my bank says I haven't.

What if I relax, only for them to find out on my day of departure that I haven't been charged, and make me pay the current price or worse cancel my journey. On the other hand what if I relax then get to travel free . Anyone with similar experience?
