Hadampson: As Sassy92 clearly pointed out, Ausbildung is like apprenticeship and it's not easy to get in developed countries because they are well paid, so their citizens rush into it. The chance of a non-permanent resident getting Ausbildung is slim
Also, you can't get an Ausbildung if your German level is not up to at least B1 and it depends on the kind of Ausbildung you are looking for.
Prost. Yea, I've read about it.. Thanks bro.. |

sassy92: Studenkolleg requires B2 in German. And since you're already in NOUN just finish 100lvl and get your transcript. Ausbildung is like apprenticeship, I'm not really sure how it works but I think it's been discussed on this thread before. I'm at the A2 stage of my German |

sassy92: Most schools in Benin Republic are not recognised in Germany, however check asbin (Google it) and see if your school may be recognised. If your school is not recognised then and you still want to study in Germany, then register in a Nigerian University (like Noun) finish 100lvl then you can use the 100lvl transcript to apply for BSc in Germany. Thanks for the reply, i have checked the Anabin database and found out that my school wasn't there, I'm already taking a course at Noun and preparing for the exam next month, also I'm in A2 level of German, and also i want to go through studentkolleg and i just heard of something called Ausbildung. |

Immafrank: IN ADDITION TO MY PREVIOUS POST
Information is Vital here and so is everywhere. What you need/looking for is always somewhere, you just need to connect with the right person/use the right keyword for searching.
Some of our 9ja brothers here tend to hide information from their fellow 9jas even though it doesn't stop them from achieving their aim. So i tend to roll with more white people, in most cases, if you don't talk to them, they won't talk to you, so i always shoot first. A Brazilian friend of mine once sent me a job link when i told her i was looking for a part time job, it was a job related to my field and this company was looking for working students to work with some kinda data, no German needed. You will never find the job using google except you visit their website. Unfortunately, i didn't get the job but i was glad i applied as the interview taught me some new lessons on an international level. So don't feel too proud to ask for help/information, you never know the kind of information that fellow is holding.
AFTER RESUMPTION for the first semester and registration of courses, you might wanna check the next semester module, talk to students that did the courses in the previous semester to know how far, This is important so you wont go and larimo one professor Albert Einstein especially when the course is not really related to your Bachelor degree. A German student once told me not to choose a particular professor for a course project supervisor, i asked other fellows and they said the same.
If you have a knack for programming and you are proficient in Python, Java and JavaScript, you don't know what God has done for you.
Also, if you studied something related to Media in Nigeria like Mass Comm, you might wanna check Masters in Media and Communication Science in TU Ilmenau, the application is online (no need to send hard copy docs) and the admission is valid for 2 years but you get to pay application processing fees of 25 euros. For online application for Geoscience courses, you might wanna check University of Bremen. There is masters in Geodetic Engineering at University of Bonn, the program offers 3 specializations, but i think its only for winter application but the application is online.
Lastly, i have said this before and i will say it again, new applicants applying to uni assist (Masters), when sending your documents, look for courses in TU Berlin and University of Potsdam and apply there too, both universities are under uni assist but you don't need to pay processing fees as both universities have already covered the cost for their master programs. If you are going to state of Brandenburg particularly University of Potsdam, try and get your Residence permit in Berlin, you get 2 to 3 years, although accommodation might be a problem in Berlin. In Potsdam, you only get 1 year RP, for the second year, they might tell to fund another 9k euros to renew your RP. So make your research well. Your school ID card (either TU Berlin or Uni Potsdam) gives you free transportation that covers for Berlin-Brandenburg including all Trains and local buses., so no issue with Transportation cost.
NOTE: if you graduated from Houdegbe North American University Benin Republic, don't bother applying to Germany as your school is not recognized here. What's up bro, i graduated from a university in Benin republic (Esep le berger), but i want to apply for another B.sc. Can i still apply or i should not bother too. |

mrphysics: Lol, when I was in Nigeria, I worked with a company that is much closer to the government. We render some services that influence the common man and that also affect the ease of doing business in Nigeria. Good evening Mrphysics, sorry for going out of the line, i want to ask that what is the prospect of a German translator on fiverr, that is one thing i can do as I just wanna start learning how to make logos with photoshop |

sassy92: In my opinion, based on my A1 knowledge of German, NO. The 30 episodes uploaded do not cover everything you need to know at A1 level. Although I'm not done with the podcast (I'm at episode fortysomething). But I like the podcast because it helped improve my listening skills plus the story line is very interesting.
I think I'll also add Nicos Weg (A1). Its a 2 hr movie aimed at teaching A1 German. I was skeptical about adding it at first because its completely in German so beginners will get lost (talking from my experience). However when I finished A1 and rewatched it I was finally flowing. So it'll be good for those who already have basic knowledge of German. Please can you share the link when you done uploading |

oluspicy: I experienced the same thing because of wrong input of login information since last week. In fact all the laptops in my possession couldn't access NOUN's portal...
Why...?
Because my IP address (from my network provider) has been banned.
I tried clearing my search history but still got the same response because their server couldn't grant me access.
Possible Solution:
Change the network you're using for browsing i.e from Glo network to Airtel or others.
The same is also applicable if you're using a Wi-Fi connection.
I did the above and it worked perfectly.
Chat me up for the admission process step by step. Good evening, thanks bro.. I'm just replying because i was ban yesterday and I've just been released |

Lightofzoe: Please if you studied in any of the so called private uni in rep of Benin, please don’t bother yourself, your school isn’t recognized, i just checked I’m so pained right now you can start at a Nigerian uni to get your 100l transcript which is what I’ll do. Use the link below to check.
https://anabin.kmk.org/no_cache/filter/institutionen.htm I studied in Benin republic too, although someone on twitter he goes by the username baba_omoloro said i could still use it to study for another degree in Germany. Although I'm searching for other alternatives such as studying in the National open university of Nigeria since it 100l transcript is accepted |

Dahyormine: maybe you missed the part where it was discussed, like 7pages back. the person's msc application was rejected, he used a certificate from houdegbe, he later asked if he could apply for Bsc with it, but someone here said it would still be rejected.
the best you can do is to contact the school you want to apply to and make enquiry directly before your application.
Best Regards. I read it, actually there was this tweet i saw, so i dmed the person concerning my school that wasn't on the Anabin database, the person told me i shouldn't bother applying for master that i wouldn't be given, later i asked of studentkolleg which told me about although i read about on the part 5 4 3 of this thread by using google search with the keynote nairaland, then i later message the person again asking since i can't apply for master can i apply for another Bsc degree, he replyed saying yes but with German proficiency. |

Zenith Bank says in your best interest. So it's left for you. I have made my findings, though i was told that i can't use it to apply for Master degree but i can use it for another Bsc, but still wanna make more research, Moverover i just finish going reading through this thread from page 1, but couldn't find any comment related to it. |
