Hi, i finished from Benin republic, most Benin private schools are not on the anabin Database and thus not recognised, the best thing for your sister to do is to learn how to speak German to B1 or B2 level and apply through Studentkolleg or Apply to National open university of Nigeria and get the 100l transcript

For those of us having issue with uniassist due to their upgrade, here is the tips and needful for old users.

Launch the new https://my.uni-assist.de/login
Click on "create new account", ensure that the old email address is entered for the new account, a confirmation link will be sent to your email address.
Open your email address and click the confirmation email
Go back to new portal and log in with the email addresss and password, after log in fill in applicant information which should be same as old account. Note that in the process of filling applicant info you will be require to confirm your old uniassist applicant number

After 24hrs uniassist will check your new account if you already have old account. If you have the new generated applicant number will be deactivated and you will see the old applicant number on the new portal upon log in.

Note that the deactivation mail does not mean you should not create a new account on My assist.

Are you frustrated and angry you just realised nobody go give you PR just because you studied and got a job within 1.5 years which to me doesn't make sense. If you read their immigration laws clear enough you will see that time spent as a student doesn't really count that much.

As someone not on student visa, I'm eligible to apply next year after 5 years of living in Germany but if I were on student visa I would have not qualified for PR because the rules are different.

You talk about us not sharing the bad sides. The bad sides which I'm sure have been mentioned here again and again include the language, racism, difficulty to get a job after studying if you need to know the language or if your course isn't lucrative in Germany, being on tight schedules because of studies, rude officials in the foreign office, juggling two jobs at the same time, difficulty to get an apartment as a student. Others can add theirs too and I strictly mean only people living in Germany!.

What again do you really want to hear.

Your school popping up is just a prerequisite, next to the name of your school, if it shows h- that means it is not recognised but if shows h+ that means it is, then again if shows h+/h- that means they'll have to evaluate your degree for a decision
