Yea my school officially resumed on 13th January and lectures were fixed to commence the following week. In my first day in lecture I was totally confused because the pattern of teaching I was used too From Nigeria wasn’t the pattern used here I believe you all know the pattern na! Where your lecturer will dictate notes for you and explain every bit for you if you have a good lecturer but amazingly here in Uk it is absolutely different! Lecturers doesn’t give notes! I was actually expecting the lecturer to give notes. The lecturers only come to class to give you an overview of what he or she uploaded in his or her lecture slides which could be found on your student portal. You are expected to read widely on your own, you are assigned a personal tutor for guidance and so forth. Things were really challenging for me owing to the fact I wasn’t used to this kind of digital teaching. Secondly Understanding the British accent is another challenging thing for me but gradually I started getting use to their way of speaking. So far these I have in UK

1. Europeans are not brilliant but intelligent

2. Their way of teaching is absolutely different from Nigerian pattern of teaching

3. The Europeans make learning fun! We have like three-floor building in my school library. The first floor you are allowed to shout or do anything you wanna do while reading whilst the second floor is a quite zone! So you have the choice to choose where u wanna read: noisy zone or quite zone. In our library we also have beds to sleep lol! If you are tired you can jump on the bed and sleep! We also have pubs!

4. Respect is not seen in terms of sir or mar but in terms of politeness. I call my lecturers by their names

5. Professors are scarce! You will hardly meet a professor in Uk while doing your MSc unlike Nigeria

6. Asians are brilliant and intelligent

7. You don’t need to buy books while studying in Uk

8. You will get the marks you deserve! No bad belle lecturers.

I bring this here as I always see here that it's not advisable to forgive a cheat. I and my girlfriend had a smooth relationship mid last year but by early this year we started having issues.

I was calm about the whole scenario to be brief, she cheated along the line. I saw hints but I had no evidence and we kept having issues till the end of February.

Good evening hosey, can you please explain more, I'm really confused, CAS is given 3 months before the course start date, and before it's given the school would love to see that the maintenance fee has been kept for atleast 28 days before they issue out the CAS, how would someone meet the no more than 31 days.

For instance, the maintenance fee is deposited May 28, june 24 the 28 days is completed and CAS takes 2days to a week depending on the school, so how does someone meet up, pls can you explain.
