thesicilian: She should go and sit down somewhere. The record that has been on ground for years, as soon as her fellow Nigerian breaks it that is the particular one she wants to go for. Of all the hundreds of thousands of records to attempt! The one who broke the record has not even received the official award yet and you're already trying to topple her. Just like that employee that would secretly go and try convince the boss that she deserves a promotion more than a fellow co-worker, instead of just applying for her own promotion. You are just being sentimental! Records are meant to be broken, regardless of region. Will u say because your neighbor studied medicine, u won't study medicine when u have interest in it? She might have gotten her inspiration from Hilda & there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Hilda also broke some one's record & a lot more people will continue to break it after this lady. Any of Hilda or dammy won't be the last to break it. Please stop the unnecessary hate. She has done absolutely nothing wrong. |

EPIJOE: In as much as it's a good idea and help the masses, did you think this would pay the govt?
As we know Nigerians goes for the cheapest to help manage there little income,
The whole country would be flooded with this CNG and no one would even think of Petrol again thereby making, crude oil and major fuel business in Nigeria go down with low crude money coming in.
I doubt of.the govt would support this. Cos 80% of our forex comes from crude oil Exactly! What will now happen to petrol? If govt couldn't tolerate subsidizing petrol, how can they now tolerate something that will completely eliminate petrol? Govt will never allow this to work |

placeofallure: I still checked this morning.
I don't like to check because it's usually unfavourable. It's always high and for me, I think it's hereditary. The doctor, as at the last time I was in a hospital, wanted to place me on drugs but I ran. Once you start, you never stop, I'm too young to start taking forever drugs. You did well, bringing it down naturally is the best. Don't use drugs. Try to take fruits high magnesium especially banana & avocado & drastically reduce your intake of salt. If u can reduce or eliminate salt from your diet, your bp must drop |

Decent09: I don't know what really happened with me oo, for the past four months, anytime if I check my BP it will shows 140/90, and I tried all my possible best for it to reduce but all in vain.
I will appreciate clinical advice from my Doctor friends here. Increase your intake of magnesium & reduce sodium. Always eat fruits high in magnesium, especially avocado & banana. Primary cause of high bp is low magnesium & high sodium. Reduce salt & increase magnesium, your bp will gradually go down. Eat little salt as much as u can & also try to get good sleep at night. |

The removal of subsidy is long overdue, they can no longer deceive us. NLC is a political wing of Labour Party, they are highly parisan with the NLC Chairman Joe Ajaero openly campaigning for Obi, they want to destabilize Nigeria since their candidate did not win. NLC is a fraud they never have the interest of the masses at heart. All Nigerian workers should ignore them, where were they when Emefiele did shege to Nigerians by denying them their hard earned monies? HacheNoire: Permit me to enlighten you a bit.
The recent hike in pump prices was bound to happen. Enacting such drastic change is BOUND to have an instantaneous effect in prices .
Now, let’s take a deeper look. The economy is now saving trillions, WHICH if appropriately managed, can be channeled directly into the economy.
The importation of fuel has been deregulated, meaning high competition will set in.
It’s just a matter of time, the prices will drop.
I understand and feel your plight, but trust me, it’s the best way to go. But u yourself know this fund will still be looted by these greedy leaders! Why must the poor have to suffer for something we all know that won't work?? Any govt unable to build a refinery should not be talking about subsidy removal! We all know their intentions! U think prices would come down? I laugh... Let's see if doesn't go higher than this before December. Samething they said for phcn, are prices for bills cheap now? |

Dialogue is not on the table. All they want is a reverse. Those bastards will spend anything to get it reversed. You people should stop using this subsidy cabal as smokescreen. The average Nigerian is feeling the heat more than the so called cabals. Transport is on the increase & this will affect the price of every product & there are no increase in salaries, yet u people don't want Nigerians to complain. This is not about cabal, the average Nigerians feeling the heat are the people NLC is fighting for, not any yeye cabal |

Fab21: I presume he lost his job, considering the house rent fee and the income.
Any house rent that your 2 monthly income can't pay that shows that you're living above your means. The bold is not realistic for the average family man out there, u are only saying this probably because u are single or earning a high income, which is not the case for most Nigerians. How much is the salary of civil servants? How much are govt teachers paid in your State? When u now factor in family expenses & considering the increasingly high cost of house rent & they can no longer be living in a single room as a family, u will discover this two months salary for house rent of a thing is not realistic. |

Eriokanmi: Tinubu isn't as intelligent as most of you guys think. He should have said there would be removal of subsidy but they'd have to sit down and discuss with the marketers. Then he'd tell the stakeholders to allow them exhaust old stock and create artifical scarcity for a few days, then he'd have spent like a month in power. Suddenly, he'd just announce the new rate. Exactly!!! The danger here is that these same marketers are still going to increase the pump price after July, no be this Nigeria. Tinubu was too forward making this announcement. He should have waited till July, allowing marketers to exhaust their stock before bringing this up. |
