Religion / Re: The Hate On White Garment Churches by Rubby1(m): 9:28am On Jun 26, 2023
Three Practices of White Garment Churches You Should Run Away From.

If there is a country that is very religious, it's Nigeria. A country that has a lot of churches abounding in almost every street and corners in certain cities, yet it seems the situation of the country gets more challenging.

Amidst all these are white garment churches. These churches are distributed around the world. It's origins can be traced to Benin republic when the founder migrated from the same. And in actual truth he never initiated these practices, but several persons who joined him along the way brought some ideology or the other.

If you look at a church like winners, or RCCG , there is a central command. Such that what you see done at location A is done at location B and it's the same every where.

And if a Church does not have a central head that is recognised, reverred and serves as a chain of command , that should really sound an alarm to you.

There are some practices in these churches that you really should be wary of. So what are they?

1. Bathing in the River

Jesus baptised people only once and there was a reason. He never used it as a practice. Any practice that engages the mostly the practices of the old testament should be avoided. The blind man he asked to go the River to bathe was a prophetic instruction. While the problem seems to be solved by bathing in a river, this really is temporary. Just two weeks later, you will amount in greater problems and issues. Bathing in the River exposes you to more forces than you bargained for.

2. Using their Prayer Soap

Religion in Nigeria has done more harm than good. If you ignore certain principles, you can never have those enviable results that you seek. Bathing in the River and using the prayer soap is one and the same. You end up washing your glory and your goodness away. Do not be deceived. Pray to God by using certain Psalms like Ps. 23, 46, 83, 121 and 1. Pray this prayers between 12am and 3am and see God doing wonders in your life.

If men can pray, God will answer.

3. Celebration Rites

If there is something I know about these guys, it's that they can find reasons and excuses to eat in the name of one celebration or the other. Guys this is where you should be careful. A church that always does this should ring an alarm in your head. These foods are prepared by people who looking for means to spread their misfortunes around , or doing a prayer of more years to add to their life or simply collecting people's glory for their selves. Then you innocently eat the same. Bros or Sis be careful! I have attended their services for a long time and that's how I know these things. I have served with them for a while so I know what I am talking about. Do not let yourself become caught out with them.

I am not saying white garment churches are all bad. There are some of them that do none of these things and are quite effective.

A church that does any of these should be a suspect to you. Some of these churches do not even wear white garments yet they do this. Every church should have an head. And every church should have an identity that is synonymous to them. A church is known by the fruit of the spirit it represents. Winners is known for Faith, RCCG is known for humility, and many more. Once a Church does not represent at least a fruit of the spirit then what happens there is not about Christ but something else.
Business / Re: CBN announces unification of FX windows, stops Naira4Dollar scheme by Rubby1(m): 8:22am On Jun 15, 2023
In case you don't know what floating the Naira means, it means that the government will no longer determine the Naira rate. There will be only one rate. And that is the rate determined by market forces. This means that the more you buy foreign goods, like the ones you see in Peter Obi's Next Cash and Carry, the more the Naira will collapse. And the more you buy made in Nigeria goods and services, like Innoson Motors, and Globacom telecommunications products, the more the Naira will rise.

The immediate impact of this will be that our foreign and local reserves will rise, since the Central Bank of Nigeria will not have to defend the Naira by unnecessarily injecting Dollars into the forex market. Another consequence is that exporters and importers, as well as students, pilgrims, tourists and health tourists will no longer have to approach the CBN for allocations, since the CBN rate no longer exists. What will exist is the single exchange rate.

Also, you will be able to travel with Naira and change it for Dollars, Pounds, Euro, Yuan, etc., abroad, as it was during the 70s and early 80s before Buhari's coup against President Shagari's government.

Good Evening all. Thank God is Sunday, I was with a top FRSC officer yesterday, who told me that the new Chinese traffic lights in the FCT (Abuja) are not just to direct traffic but a means of generating IGR for the Government, any time you go against the traffic lights, it will record your PLATE NUMBER and it will show in their database and a fine will be attached, so when you are ready to renew your license or papers it will show your accumulated fine and if you are not ready to pay at that time your car will be impounded and start Demurrage from that day, pls let us respect the new Chinese traffic lights and know the type of people we give our cars to and advise everyone too.

Politics / 4 Things Emefiele Did To Offend Tinubu, Nigerians, Prominent Govs. by Rubby1(m): 9:11am On Jun 11, 2023
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Friday, June 9, ordered the immediate suspension of Godwin Emefiele as governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

In a statement, the CBN Governor was suspended following investigation into the affairs of the apex bank.

The CBN Governor’s suspension is a sequel to the ongoing investigation of his office and the planned reforms in the economy’s financial sector, the statement said. Since Emefiele’s tenure as CBN governor ends in June, it is a surprising move that will now raise legal questions. In view of the above development, I dive into some of the major reasons why Emefiele's office was threatened in the wake of the new administration headed by Tinubu.

1. Economic downfall Emefiele's policy reforms and operations of the apex bank did not sit well with Nigerians which includes some prominent governors and elites in the country. The suspended CBN governor assumed office in 2014 after succeeding Lamido Sanusi, who was equally suspended from office under controversial circumstances by President Goodluck Jonathan few months before the expiration of his tenure. Before his appointment, Mr Emefiele was the Group Managing Director of Zenith Bank Plc. Since assuming office in 2014, the suspended CBN chief has faced criticisms among Nigerians due to his management of the economy, his politics, and the apex bank’s controversial policies. During his tenure, the Nigerian currency, the naira, has experienced a significant decline, currently trading at over N750 per dollar in the parallel market and N469.50 per dollar at the spot market as of Thursday, the lowest it has ever traded on the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window.

2. Naira redesign policy (Changing of notes) In the last quarter of 2022, the CBN also introduced a naira redesign policy that was widely criticised for the uncertainty and widespread chaos it triggered across Nigeria. The policy caused widespread chaos nationwide as frustrated Nigerians staged protests amid poor banking operations. In the heat of the electioneering, Tinubu, then candidate of the ruling All Progresives Congress (APC), claimed that the policies implemented by the CBN, such as the restriction on cash withdrawals to N20,000 per day and N100,000 per week, were deliberately designed to hinder his chances of winning the presidential election. The implementation of CBN’s naira redesign policy was suspended on March 13 as Nigeria’s economy slowed in the first quarter of the year on cash scarcity induced by the CBN naira redesign policy.

3. Naira scarcity The limited circulation of new Naira notes in the country, days before the January 31 deadline set by the bank to stop the use of old notes was a pain Nigerians are still yet to heal from. The affected denominations are N1000, N500 and N200, which the apex bank recently re-designed. CBN Governor was suspended following investigation into the affairs of the apex bank. The implementation of CBN’s naira redesign policy was suspended on March 13 as Nigeria’s economy slowed in the first quarter of the year on cash scarcity induced by the CBN naira redesign policy. The scarcity of new naira notes and old naira notes also triggered the anger of Nigerians and even governors as they demand for Emefiele's sack. Photo credit: CBN Source: Facebook 3. Naira scarcity The limited circulation of new Naira notes in the country, days before the January 31 deadline set by the bank to stop the use of old notes was a pain Nigerians are still yet to heal from. READ ALSO "It's political vendetta": Public affairs analysts speak on Tinubu's suspension of Emefiele The affected denominations are N1000, N500 and N200, which the apex bank recently re-designed. The new notes was scarce and followed with deadline for the old note to be deposited at the bank which then led to the scarcity of both the old note and new note; this triggered the anger of Nigerians and some governors in the country. The the APC presidential candidate in the February 25 election, Bola Tinubu advised the apex bank to allow the old and new Naira notes to co-exist for 12 months. Amid the melee, prominent Nigerians and leading figures in the civil society called for Mr Emefiele’s arrest and prosecution. In March, Nigeria’s leading investigative medium, PREMIUM TIMES, also called for the arrest and prosecution of the central bank governor. In
an editorial, the news outlet reiterated its stand, frowning at the anti-people cash policies imposed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) under the watch of Mr Emefiele. The editorial also criticised the CBN for failing to adhere to the ruling of the Supreme Court on the old naira notes. It noted that the cash withdrawal limit imposed by the central bank is an infringement on the rights of the people.

4. Emefiele contested for president Emefiele also faced a barrage of criticism due to his controversial foray into partisan politics, which saw him contest for the presidential ticket of the ruling All Progressive Congress. Although the governor tried to deny his involvement in partisan politics, support groups were calling for his emergence as flagbearer of the ruling party. The governor’s unprecedented involvement in partisan politics attracted widespread condemnation, with experts expressing worries about the governor’s impartiality and the autonomy of the CBN.

I asked you a question with respect to your own comment. See your comment below and see the bolded in your own comment. You use we several times... If you were in a sane clime, you would be held liable for any liability since you're promoting the coin and also claim to be part of its team by using we.

This is petty and you're deflecting attention from the real issue. Mazinewmoney is heavily shilling SLP because he believes in it. If he claims to be part of SLP team then it would be a different case. Has he made that claim?

Again, SLP has been vetted by Binance and is listed on Binance. Yet, it has fallen nearly 80% from ATH.

You can enlighten Nairalanders about why $PAPER token you're promoting won't get dumped on them after buying. Tell them all the people behind the project. Tell them why $PAPER token distribution is concentrated in certain wallets and who owns those wallet. Reveal all the team members and their wallets address so people can view their holdings.

If you wish to continue making jests instead of providing clarification like a good marketing manager or someone with good intentions, then please continue. I won't indulge you further.

A lot of sense in this!

••CONFESSION>>7/1/2022••

I used Amaka's giant bóóbs to plus my hustle (Yahoo-Plus).

With my own hands, I kîlled the woman I’ve always dreamt of marrying. Yes, I stabbed the LOML uncountably until she could breath no more.

I'm Chinonso Okafor, popularly known as Vipers’da Ka. Ya’ll can call me a swindlér, Yahoo boy, Gbouy or even a Rîtualist, do you think I care? hell no! I give no damn!!!

I came from a penurious background. We could barely afford the neccesities of life. Our favourite feeding code was '101', we ate twice a day. Lucky days alone though.

In my community, my family was regarded as “Da’Cursed” you wonna know why? Okay, Just like HIV/AIDS could be transmitted from one person to the other, so was poverty transffered from our past generation to the living generation. In our geneology, we never produced a millionare. Albeit, I tried to break the So-called curse.

I was really desperate to change the narrative of myself and my family. I was ready to do whatever it takes to make our lives better, in a legal way though. But there was a twist of plans when I gained admission into the University.

Life became unbearable for me. If not for Patrick my best friend, I would’ve dropped out of school a long time ago. Wait! did I just call Patrick my best friend? well, I doubt if he truly is.

Patrick was the biggest dude on campus. Money was never a problem of his. He derives pleasure from squandring money. Spending on things that are not neccessary.

I never knew what he saw in me, but he actually liked me. He taught me how to smartly press(Yahoo) but I never cashed out well though.

“Bro, instead of continously giving me fish, why dont you teach me how to fish properly?” I recall how I asked him to give me more updates.

“You wonna Bam ba with the big boys?”
he replied in mild but harsh tone.

Well, after much questioning, he finally let the cat outta the bag. He told me about his spiritual Baba and promised to take me there.

He finally took me there. My worst mistake was following him...Like, How do you expect me to bring a body part of Amaka, my fiancee? Who does that??!!

I went to my lodge and promised never to return to Patrick or his baba. Never!!! I loved my girl so much.

On a fateful day, Amaka visited me and never returned. I kîlled her. Should I say I was charmed or It wasn't me that did it or should I say the baba used me to commit the evil act? well, it still remains a mystery to me.

It was after everything had happened that I realized the mess I was into.

Now listen, do you know why Patrick liked me? Right from the onset, his Baba told him how bright my future was. To gain my trust, he pretended to like.

“Such persons soul would bring huge fortune and we need to kîll two birds with just a single stone” Those were the words of Baba to Patrick. Confusing, right?

Well, Patrick and his baba used me. I kîlled the LOML and also lost my sanity. (He plused both of us)

If you ever see any cute mad boy on the street of Abeokuta, putting on a tarttered blue jeans with no shirts. Thats me!

God destined me to be great but In my quest to become an over-night millionare, I went mad!

Learn from the mistakes!
