In the last 6-9 years, Okomu Oil (a big agro company) and similar firms have outperformed most sectors, but telecoms, in the exchange. Yes, if you picked Okomu or Presco as your investment a couple of years ago, your Salah or Christmas will be looking bigger now. Indeed, they have returned solid numbers, superior to most banks.
But they’re yet to unlock core latent opportunities in the agro-processing category. We think their own “fintech” moment will happen just as fintech, superimposed on banks, delivered alpha. The “fintechs” of the agro-sector look promising. At Tekedia Capital, we’re closing on one, and we hope to expand our antenna to pick the signals out of those domains. #agroWealth is real. |

Jobs/Vacancies › What Value Do You Bring To The Table? by Rubyjade(op): 10:39pm On May 02, 2023 |
Dear Candidates,
Every organization wants to know that you will bring value to their organization when you get in, Hence they ask "What value do you bring to the table".
This interview question is actually very similar to ‘Why do you think you will be successful in this job?’. Both require you to sell yourself and to research the employer before the interview. But the company question requires you to look beyond your first job and think about how you can benefit the organization as a whole and in the longer term.
When asked during interviews what you bring to the table, the guidelines below will give you an edge.
What is the recruiter also asking is... 👉Are you a good match for the business? 👉Would you be a good long-term hire for the business? 👉How much do you know about our company? Are you sufficiently interested in us to have researched us? 👉What do you think are your best skills and attributes? 👉What are your values? 👉How good are your communication skills?
Show why you would be a good match.
👉Your enthusiasm for the profession and the employer and your desire to make your mark. 👉Your personal qualities, such as your drive and willingness to learn. 👉Connect your answers to the employer's goal. 👉Emphasize what you've accomplished in the past, and connect it to the future. 👉The skills the employer seeks and how you have demonstrated them in the past – your answer should show why you would be competent in the job.
Sample Answers using the steps:
👉I will contribute my ability to streamline office processes, reporting, & Documentation. For example, I developed a new method for scheduling client appointments which led to a 45% (be realistic with the figures) decrease in scheduling errors. I would love to bring not only this method but my general organizational skills to this job at your company. (Admin Professional can use this).
👉I will bring my unique competency to your company. I am experienced in many areas related to this company’s current goals, including expanding international sales. For example, I helped improve international & Local l sales at a previous company by over 10%. My sales background, along with my ability to plan ahead, will help facilitate that growth.
My previous work experience included innovation in many areas, including strategies for more effective teamwork. At my previous company, I devised strategies for improving teamwork and communication among members of team projects. I can bring my ideas from my previous job and my general passion for innovation to your organization. (Sales & BD Prof can use this). |

LordAdam16: Guy free that thing.
All these menial workers society usually look down on dey chop better meat. Driver, cook, gateman, messenger, plumber, okada man/keke rider, bodyguard, pool boy, handyman. E dey happen. In all societies.
Sheikh of Dubai wife leave am for bodyguard. Donald Trump second wife na inside car dem hang her leg.
Even the kyn India, where house help is far more rampant than in Nigeria, e dey happen steady.
The madams and their daughters, sisters and female relatives get sth from these men that they don't get from their spouses--total subservience and complete, unwavering attention. The guys aim to please. No b normal guy wen go dey tok say, "I can't go down on a woman". He no kuku get high-value skill, so he has all the time in the world to know how to eat pussy n a$$ right, wyn waist, and do all of those activities you'd roll your eyes about. Want to go shopping as a pair and hold her bags. Horrifying for you. But uncle doesn't mind.
Similar thing with secretary and executive assistant vs wives. The former appreciates every little gift you get them or favor you do. They are all over your sh*t, making sure everything proceeds smoothly. No judgements for all your vices they're aware of. Always smiling and greeting you with a coffee. You're always right. And when you start f*cking them, they always put out. No, I'm too busy and not in the mood, even though they literally have some tasks to finish after you're spent.
We get different things from different people. A girl might tell you, you're not at her level, because you're not the perfect Instagrammable picture-perfect partner with the prestigious career from a legacy school at a Fortune 500 firm. But on the DL, if you can vibe, you can be an FWB.
You simply can't be out there thinking Ana de Armas is only screwing 10s. Or that hot trophy wife will not arch her back for a guy whose salary is less than what she paid for that bag she impulsively bought but never used. S$xual dynamics is intricate.
-Lord E sure me, you have done gate man before. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Why Do Some Nigeria Company Delay Salaries? by Rubyjade: 9:58pm On May 02, 2023 |
8by6incherr: 1. Arrogance
Some Nigerian bosses like the feeling of demi gods, so, they delay your salary at will so you can feel the heat and respect them More, remember, lot of people are jobless
2. Poor staffing
Some companies use the delay salary tactics to teach their staffs lessons
3..Low Roi or income
4.. Bad economy
5. They used your salary to Carry 2 odds or olosho and the ticket cut
6. Wickedness
Trust me on this, an average Nigerian in any position of authority is wicked
7. Village people
They see say your face don show, so they don't want your shoe to shine Once you notice this, please 🙏 resign ASAP. Research has shown it's an addiction and I have worked in such company, it's didn't last beyond 5yrs. I left after 1yrs learning what I wanted. Every morning, different girls are coming out of his room, meeting he would never attend, things that are important he doesn't address it, his not organized, employ at will and paying salary to someone that's doing the same exact job you doing. |
