@HighBK I do not think Zenith Gateway will affect VoguePay, Eyowo, CashEnvoy & the rest. They have almost zero-entry fee and ofcourse can make it easier to optin than the banks. The Good advantage of the banks is that, their clients get funds direct to the account with absolute no third-party. |

Business / What Business Should I Start: The Wrong Question You Should Be Asking! by rufaai(m): 3:38pm On Jan 13, 2012 |
I use to be an active Nairaland member, suddenly I got carried away by First, I am not a business expert but I have been in business for 5yrs now and all I've been studying lately is business and i'm gonna be as brief as possible on this. You see; business is not just an opinion or a way of doubling your money, in fact; business is not just about money. It's about passion, and desire to make other people's life better in a way that you best can. Even if what you do can make you money, it won't last you'd soon get bored doing it or even quit when it gets tough. I'd share a story with you of RedTagCrazy, a company started by a man called Eric Ingram who was making over $800,000 in revenue, yet collapsed because he was on a game he didn't like in the first place; but because it generated money, eric went for it. ( More: http://redtagcrazy.com/blog/2011/03/28/rise-and-fall/) So, my little advice for you; if you want to start a business, do what you are passionate about, what you love and could do even without any gain. Sooner or later you'd find success and your dreams will come true. I remember the quote, "If all you think about is the money, you'd soon run out of its sources" and "if someone has to convince you that starting your own business is the best thing, then it probably isn't" I think you should keep your money, safe. If you really want to start a business, then do what you love not what works for someone else! Goodluck, I'm Ahmad Mukoshy (http://mukoshy.com). I also blog about my learning process in business at http://typr.us OR you could also follow http://twitter.com/mukoshy. Thank you. 3 Likes |
Business / Re: Which Business Can I Start With 100.000 Naira. by rufaai(m): 3:13pm On Jan 13, 2012 |
josessy: Advice: If someone has to tell you the business you should start, then starting a business might NOT be the best thing for you. Business is about passion, doing what you love the most. When the going gets tough, only passion can keep you moving, Somehow, I think you should keep your 100k until you see something that you would love to do, rather than ask a thousand forum members. That's my opinion, the choice is still yours. 1 Like |

Dual Core: @DUAL CORE: Let me clear it up for you, (though i didn't want to take it by horns ) Oka, Here, my forensics starts! First the main image on frisahost's hompage, was copied from 1 of aimtech's main banners (See http://aimtechng.com/images/main_banner2.jpg), check how he used eraser to wipe off some part of the image for his kids with computer (even that one is illegally from a stockphoto site, see it carefully.) Then the follow us on facebook/twitter buttons, I designed them, even the order now button too. Then he took out the drupal icon, used eraser again to clean it to his taste, compare the drupal icon on aimtech's homepage (i made it too!). Further more, see his packages on the home and that of Aimtech (the words); 99.95% Uptime Assured, Latest PHP and MySQL (I'm sure he copied that). Switch to Web Design, see Aimtech's "Additional Details" and his "Other Services", copy copy! Finally, can you take a look at the overal site looks? i mean layout! THAT SITE IS OLE! (frisahost.com) |

@Seun: I do NOT want to believe python is a simpler language than PHP. But because you know what you need and that's what you're asking for, then I have no further ado. Good luck on this quest. I do not think it is wise for a developer to starting learning python now simply for this competition, unless he got some additional reasons to do so. Just my thoughts again! |

@maximip: That's where this is so not cool. There are countless php developers, what happens to them? There should be freedom of language choice so far it delivers the required result, committed to SVC and well commented :X What I think! |
