You could have seen my early web works, they look as messy. But I strive to improve than start charging peanuts to show my in-expertise in the field to my clients. That was my only suggestion. GOD HAVE MERCY!!!!

Estdomains.com also had similar trouble, but with ICAAN which affected registrars like yourwebpoint.com and others. However some available registrars allow smooth migration without hassles or Renewal needs.

@Dual Core: I don't know about transaction charges, we've not signed up yet but i think they exist too. Presently, we have built our ATM Payment gateway; which is still on the test on our locals for http://aimtechng.com

If worked fine, we'd skip Interswitch and link with our bank.

We are building this payment gateway from scratch and also unique for our system only. Sooooon, our clients may have the freedom of ATM payment depending on "if all loop holes are cleared and bank accepts to link up with us". Security measures are also a prior concern, so it may take a while.

But I've been using it on a test-mode and it works perfect for me, just a virtual thing though.

.co.cc is not a domain name, and even domain names we have what is called top-level domain names (.com .net .org .biz .info) and country-level domains (co-domains) like .com.ng, .in .uk, .us .au .pk .de and countless of them,

A domain name (.com or .net) has never been free.

Though some hosting providers says free domain name, try ask them you only want the domain and not the hosting and see if they will give you for free. You have to buy there hosting package which is tied up with the cost of the domain!!!

I hope I'm not over talking it, but domain's cant be free and to be on a safe side; I recommend you only host where you also buy the domain name. Because some host have policy that you are only using the domain because you host with. In case you don't like their host, they wont allow you to take your domain as its their own property.

NOTE: Your domain name is your interent IDENTITY! don't play with it and make sure you buy it separately; even if its together with a hosting package make sure its something you own/paid for so that you can always take it to any place you wish to host with! [That's my free advice for you].

@Emaginate: Because Internswitch isn't making it easy for merchants. First is expensive (N150,000) and second its not efficient, not all cards can be used. UBA, Interontinental Bank, GTBank, Oceanic Bank cards cannot be used!!

What do Nigerian bloggers need from their blog; hosting solution and domain issues.

If blogs are more with a million traffic; then we'd have to plan and optimize for that. But I'm sure; we don't have such blogs in Nigeria/Africa yet. A million traffic is for sites like twitter, facebook and google.

But we could put traffic into consideration; SERVER LOAD.
