Crime / Re: Court Jails Cashier Five Years For Defrauding Employer N64.4 Million by ruffhandu: 7:24am On Nov 13, 2023
This is how judgement should be in Nigeria. Pay back all, go to jail. Then I may add, by the end his jail term, if he has not not finished paying the money, then he remain in jail untill he does.

But the thing here is that Nigerians are not smart sometimes, they just steal to lqvish and show off. If the man has Wisdom, unless the court orders the closure of the wife's business, the wife should pay the money small small while doing business.

But I also know the average Nigerian women, that woman will not know much than to squander the money to 'maintain status quo'. And soon, she will lavish the money on another man while her husband rots in jail. E sure me.say it will end in bigger tears for the man

Foreign Affairs / Re: IDF Said Troops Conquered Hamas Stronghold In Jabaliya, Killed 50 Terrorists by ruffhandu: 7:21am On Nov 01, 2023
chris4gold:
It is crucial that we condemn the ongoing conflicts and violence in Gaza. It's not acceptable to harm an entire state, community, or tribe due to the actions of a specific group of people. We strongly disapprove of the actions of Hamas. It's important for Israel to recognize that Palestinian lives also hold significant value.

I don't support terrorism, wipe them out and spare innocent people.

The 'innocent people' chose to die with terrorists. They were repeatedly warned to shift, their refusal to shift simply suggests they want to keep shielding the terrorists and so may be assumed to be terrorists themselves. Anyone covering a terrorists is a terrorist, though may not be an active fighter, but given the time and opportunity will likely become one.

Family / Re: See What I observed After The Death Of My Father by ruffhandu: 5:43am On Oct 26, 2023
Tonero5200:

You can only say this when you don't have a close family member as an alcoholic.
So definitely you have no ideal.

I wonder if you will still say African tends to see drug addicts as a problem... because to me alcoholism is even worst than a drug addict.

Alcoholism is a negative vice, just like cocaine addiction, womanizing, gambling., etc. It makes the closest relative feel bad and embarrassed, but the truth is that every human has a weakness, only those who cannot put theirs in any form of check, or who do not have 3nough resources, constitute nuisance, albeit for a short period of time.

Many in these categories can still be productive like the other guy said, though they may not be during their messy periods. The musicians you look up to if you are a young Nigerian, most of them are drug addicts. Many past qnd present Nigerian governors are cocain addicts, Many are constituting nuisance in some ways to their immediate family, but since they are able to quench their urge anytime, and because their are PEPs, the society overlooks their addiction.

To know that Your father was not born an alcoholic, and alcohol does not permanently erase his memory makes him valuable to many while he was alive. I think we should learn from others' experiences. Some people are looking up to you and hoping you live up to their standards and not 'embarass' them with your lifestyle, the choice is yours. Your father indeed had his value, you only saw his weakness , and that is understandable.

Despite paying for subsidy and not a producing nation exchange rate moved from 140-180 ,what type of magic did he perform

Nothing weakens the currency of a country like
1. Little or zero exports
2. Indiscriminate printing of currency (buhari and tinubu see this as a solution)
3. Lack of patronage of home-made products
4. Corruption

I am looking for an unpopular raggaeton artist (perhaps he released only one album), I only loved one track that part of the the lyrics is something like
'anwunta kwe ka mmadu di ndu rahu ura abali...' (moquito allow humans to sleep at night)
'anyi na-ata afufu, n'obodo a goziri, Chukwu ga enye any onye g-edozi obodo anyi..' (we are suffering in a blessed land, God will give us who will fix our country).

he name was Chukzy Moses or something (dunno if I spelt it ok). I need that song to reconnect with my youthful days.

I'm the chancellor of the school where the man teaches. That's Nekede Polytechnic, Ihi village. He teaches Plant Pathology at the department of Agronomy.

Lol, 'chancellor' is not part of the name used for your office, it is reserved for universities

Either this video is staged, otherwise, the man is already a gonna, just take the video to ministry of women affairs, and he will not only drop the course but will be sacked and prosecuted. But like I said, I suspect the video is staged, cos no matter how lawless nigeria may be, even the president of the country cannot sound so arrogant and stupid the way the man was sounding even when they told him he was being recorded.

I doubt if it is staged. I am seeking to know the school and department, the man needs to be dealt with

A ragtag Hamas with nothing but homemade drone made the so called IDF soldiers useless, so this is what they can resort to??..

Bombing of civilian house when Hamas are still living with their drones intact? 😂😂

Till October 7, I never thought Israel would've been dragging best army with ragtag Hamas... shocked

Israel is nothing without US, UK France and Co always fighting for her...

Provide Hamas with half of those Israel weapon and watch them turn Israel to a nobody... grin grin

Smh

I think the Arab nations, including Iran, Iraq, Libanon, etc, can actually provide hamas any weapon to match that of Israel. By the way, hamas uses sophisticated, though may not be sa soph as those of Israel. I know Israel boys weapon from Sweden also.

Lolzzzz... This country is a joke. The govt's knee-jerk response each time tells u about how unprepared they are for anything. Majority of Nigerians are either unemployed, self employed or underemployed and are all affected by the inconsiderate policies of the govt. What exactly are the measures to alleviate their sufferings? One would have thought the govt had plans and measures in place to cushion the effect on transportation costs and inflation especially but instead they are busy bragging about sharing food to a select few and sharing monies to an imaginary populace.
You forgot to add that the legitimately self-employed ones are suffocated by the govt, only the fraudulent ones are thriving. I fear for the youths because they don't actually know how deep a mess Nigerian has been plunged into. By the time they will realise it, the carcass will just crumble one day. Na the carcass the politicians dey ravage now if una no know.

Yes, the military have marching orders, I mean the ones caught, and prosecuted by courts. You know the military can't kill people that surrender, they have a code of conduct, but the courts should sentence them to death, and the governors must sign the death warrants. For actual terrorists and bandits caught in action or carrying out the terrorists activities.

Compromised judges, even if it's not death, at least life sentence. But no, before you know it, the terrorist sponsors get them out
