They intend to push 1 or 2 shiploads of arms, they send 5 shiploads. They are happy that only about 3 are seized. Mehn! If you know what is happening there, you will believe this is an end to the regime.

Yeah, that is actually the biggest challenge for some start-ups. But the truth is, one can still catch some investors very early with very great business ideas, confidence and strong team, just that the price may be very hefty. And, the chances are of course much much much much less in Nigeria than abroad.

I think this should be the least of the things to consider regarding our electoral reforms because this should be a choice. Even in the house and senate, when they vote, some people abstain. Even at UN levels, some countries remain neutral. This is to tell that it is possible one doesn't have confidence in any of the candidates.

But, I think this is not any problem to us. They should rather boost the people's confidence in the electoral system. The following may increase the number of voters:
1. When people see that their vote counts
2. When people see that they can go and vote their choices freely without danger.
3. When politicians are as under the law as the citizens.
4. When they start seeing politicians with decent characters in the ballot.

To me, what these lawmakers are doing to Nigerians is inhumane. Imagine forcing you to vote, you go out to vote and you are denied the opportunity or disenfranchised, This islike giving you only two choices, come out to be raaped, and if you won't allow a raape, then you choose jail or death. Honestly, my heart bleeds for Nigerians in the hands of their politicians.
