abimijul1:
BE ONE STEP AHEAD WITH THE CISA CERTIFICATION

In this age of technological advancement,
there is a limit to how an auditor can effectively
audit IT personnels without CISA.

So if all companies want to go the technology way because
it increases productivity and profit,
then all auditor should be able to audit the technological way too.

So for me, I wanted to be able to:

 Evaluate risk management practices
 Evaluate the value of the IT control framework
 Evaluate IT policies, standards, processes and procedures within the organization.
 Manage and monitor IT personnel.

In order words, I not only wanted to be an auditor but I wanted to be an IT auditor.

After I became a member of ISACA,
there was an opening at the organization where I worked,
the chief auditor resigned.

So the directors decided to do an in-house recruitment instead of outsourcing since they knew some of us where chartered.

At the interview, I presented to the board how
I was going to establish audit controls within the organization

I also pointed out to them some leakages and
the sources of those leakages,
I presented some technology controls which
I suggested were to be adopted in the IT department of our organization
in order to curtail some of the excesses.

By the time I finished the presentation,
they told me right there that I had the job even though
they interviewed the others.

That was how I became the Chief auditor of my company
which more than tripled my income.

I am Abolore Abifarin, I belong to ISACA and
thanks to Starry Gold Academy, they made CISA very easy for me.

P.S: Be unique, be peculiar, be one step ahead of others.

Politics / Re: Buhari Must Remove Terrorist Tag On IPOB - Group Tells UN by ruffneck(m): 11:50am On Sep 25, 2019
akelicious:
An Igbo group, Voice from the East (VEAST), yesterday in Enugu pleaded with the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) to use the opportunity of its ongoing meeting in the United States of America (USA) to mount pressure of President Muhammadu Buhari to remove the terrorist tag on the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

The group, in a statement signed by its convener, Comrade Kindness Jonah, stated that the invitation extended to the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, by the European Parliament, is evident that the group is championing self-determination.

“We have been inundated with the outcome of the invitation of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to address European Parliament on the issue of Biafra. Many have expressed reservations on the invitation by the body on somebody that the Nigerian Government tagged ‘a terrorist’.

VEAST pointed out that the terrorist tag on IPOB by Buhari–led government when juxtaposed with the invitation and Nkanu’s landmark address had been “rubbished”.

Commenting further, Jonah queried: “How can a leader of a terrorist ‘group’ be invited to address such a body like European Parliament, yet, Nigerian government calls it terrorist group?

Speaking sarcastically, he said: “IPOB is a terrorist group, but European Parliament invited it; killer herdsmen are aberrantly killing but are not terrorist group, yet, they could not be invited, and Boko Haram, a ‘co- terrorist group’ with IPOB could not be invited.

“Nigeria by this episodic invitation has been pragmatically presented as a Hobbesian state and theater of absurdities. This two ideologues are irreconcilable.”

As if invitation by European Parliament was not enough, stressed Comrade Jonah, United Nations Special Committee of the General Assembly has invited Nnamdi Kanu, the first Nigerian to be so honoured, to speak on Biafra issues as did the European Parliament, the group claimed.

“VEAST is therefore calling on UN to prevail on President Muhammadu Bihari to remove the terrorist tag on IPOB and dialogue with the group like they are doing with bandits, killer herdsmen and kidnappers in the North,” he said.

The group said it has come to the firm conclusion that “semantics of a religious order and not stubborn facts was squarely responsible for the fiendish tag of a terrorist group on IPOB by the government”.

Comrade Jonah called on the Federal Government to unconditionally cancel the unfounded terrorist tag on IPOB and perfectly restructure Nigeria, if it ever thought of stopping Biafra agitation.

Even if you were a VC in the University before contesting for the office of the president of Nigeria, you are still required to present your credentials.

Please sir who or what law requires candidates to present certificates? Quit disgracing urslf ...get a copy of the constitution !!

Polchiz:

I see sentiment in all your comments. The president claimed that he possesses a WAEC certificate by swearing an affidavit which was submitted to INEC prior to the election. In the past, he clearly stated in an affidavit that his credentials are with the military board. The military has come out to debunk his claims.
The case of Buhari is telling lies under an oath and the judiciary has made it clear that it is criminal to do so.
Nobody forced him to swear under an oath.
Recently, waec issued him a new certificate and the ceremony was aired on national television. Therefore, I'm yet to understand what is happening. Who is deceiving who?

Could you enlighten us on how best to prove or demonstrate that one is educated up to secondary school level beside certificate or statement of result?
Who uses photos that any idiot can edit to suit him?
Who uses attestation that cannot be corroborated by waec or Cambridge in their records?
Who uses a witness to ascertain education?
Does it occur to you that the authenticity of a certificate is usually verified by an organization before an appointment is confirmed?
How do you intend to verify and authenticate that Buhari was educated up to secondary school level?
Even if you were a Professor before contesting for the office of the president (in this case Buhari is a retired general) you are still required to confirm your claims by presenting your credentials., the minimum credentials are enough.

The bolded is where your ignorance lies....

The only person that thinks with his anus here is you sir! Do u have a copy of the Nigerian constitution? If u do pls show where it requires candidates to present thier certificate as a requirement. A basic requirement to accept a provisional admission in a higher institution is the presentation of waec/ssce cert or statement among other things...the emphasis is on BASIC REQUIREMENT. U even shamelessly asked for other ways to prove attainment other than presentation of certificate ? Buhari was enlisted in the officer cadet of the military and rose to the rank of a general. A basic requirement for entry was attainment of senior secondary education. Or are u saying buhari was not in the Nigerian military??

In everything, remember there is always tomorrow. Sometimes, judgment might be delivered to favour some interest, but at the detriment of the nation and her future.
Base on Mohammed Garba's ruling, someone might set up a hospital and start diagnosing patients. If you inquire to know if the person is a medical doctor, he will stand on the existing ruling to tell you that he don't need to possess a certificate before practicing as a medical doctor.
Muhammadu Buhari might be qualified to vie or assumed the position of president. But the pronouncements of the judge with respect to possession of certificate in his ruling is suicidal to the image and future of Nigeria.
Are u plain dumb or only trying to be funny? The constitution regulates the qualification for elective posts and that is what the tribunal relied on to give its ruling. Do u even know the bodies that regulate medical practice in Nigeria? Legal matters are nt for every tom, dick and harry.....

Politics / Biafra:IPOB Print 40 Million Ballot Papers for Referendum by ruffneck(m): 5:41am On Jun 20, 2018
ENUGU—INDIGENOUS People of Biafra, IPOB, has said that it has printed 40 million ballot papers to be used in the first phase of the referendum by Biafrans to determine their readiness to opt out of Nigeria. IPOB members It said the result of the exercise would guide IPOB on its future operations in the country. IPOB said that it was opposed to restructuring of Nigeria being canvassed by some eminent Nigerians, pointing out that the first stage of its referendum would take place sometime before the end of this year. This was contained in a statement signed by the Media and Publicity Secretary of IPOB, Emma Powerful. The statement read in part: “We the IPOB wish to bring to the attention of the world that plans are at advanced stages in preparation for the first in our three-stage referendum process towards the peaceful, non-violent restoration of the nation of Biafra. ,”Our decision to hold the first of the three plebiscite later this year has vindicated IPOB’s resilience in sticking to the principles of non-violent agitation for Biafra, in the face of government brutality and treachery from enemies within. “Efforts geared towards this first referendum is gathering unstoppable momentum with dates for the exercise to be announced imminently. Forty million ballot papers are being printed and readied for distribution to every clan and village in Biafraland for all adults over the age of 18 to express their preference. “Through this age-old democratic process, IPOB shall return power to the long suffering, down trodden masses, to enable them determine their destiny which was cruelly taken away by successive Nigerian governments. This massive consultation exercise, will guide all future IPOB activities and hopefully, address the issue of lack of wider participation by the people which some Nigerian government agents within have often cited as their reason for working against the emergence of Biafra. “Those that set out to mislead the populace by equating IPOB’s call for referendum as a call for war, in order to mask their betrayal of the people, will no doubt find another reason or excuse to object to this upcoming plebiscite. “It is worth reminding Ohanaeze Ndigbo and their likes that on the 11th February 1961, Nigeria conducted a referendum for the people of Southern Cameroon to determine whether they wish to be part of Nigeria or merge with the Francophone northern Cameroon. “This referendum resulted in the peaceful secession of the then NCNC controlled Anglophone Cameroon from Nigeria. In other words, they voted to leave Nigeria for good. That was democracy in action not war.”
