Benevento:You can go and argeu with the Oba of Lagos... You will soon be driven back to Oshogbo from whence you wriggled out from.. |
sesan85:Lagos is the land of the Aworis and NOT the land of the Yorubas according to the Oba of Lagos himself!!! Please Be guided.... |
Uae01Dirham:I played the clip AGAIN and I think I will still stand with what I said earlier... The problem with some of you is that you like doing everything necessary to support a chosen line of action, irrespective of how right or wrong you are... Look at the clips already in circulation, look at his dressing.., is it not obvious he dived straight into the middle of a very hot, polarising topic in a very tense period of a highly devided country?? The examples he was giving don't make sense to me. Obviously, with all the institutional support for the film's production, he should have sensed that his great talent and presence in the entertainment world were about being used to drive a dangerous government narrative that was highly offensive to an already aggrieved section of the population. . That, he should have sensed! That should come with being experienced in the field. Now, he has gotten himself into the middle of a huge fracas. The pay must be good but was it worth the whole trouble at this stage of his life/career? |
SmartProf:It should be called "jaw masks" in Nigeria. Most people don't cover their noses with the masks... They just pull stuff down to the their jaws |
He shouldn't have involved himself in that rubbish... At his age and with his experience, he should have made a better judgement. |
One of my uncles whose kids were/are pretty rich had this kind of grave. They buried him in this grave with tiles and all that just like the type I saw with Akpabios father.. Long story short; after some years, rains started getting in and it was noticed that the decaying body together with all the watery substances couldn't mix with the ground.. all were still together in the "well tiled tomb"! Oozing out some foul odour in the process. They had to break up everything and more or else reburied him in a normal grave! Ofcourse, that entails scooping all the "scoopables". |
SmartProf:Lots of People don't know that starting from inception, the federal government has been providing him with some much needed funds through the centeral bank for that refinery project, just as they have reduced taxes on his cement firms because according to them, he helps with "road constructions"! Nobody even investigates the amount of solid minerals he lifts at will n places like kogi while maintaining a very excruciating monopolistic price regime on cement with his brother at BUA. . Now, after all those federal government help, they want to fool the people by using a non existent global price index to tighten their chokehold on ordinary Nigerians through exhorbitant fuel pump price. Dangote is a big problem to Nigeria and Nigerians. |
proeast:These guys even went as far as utilizing state intruments together with the fulani to curtail educational growth in the east. FUTO was only set up after igbos in shagaris government pratically revolted... It's for this reason that the east became the place to produce the first state University in Nigeria , while the federal government was biulding for others elsewhere, the fiirst indigenous airport at Owerri etc. Since the days of awolowo, the Yoruba quest in nigerias politics has never been to develope Yoruba land per-se, otherwise Oshogbo wouldn't be the monument to squalid existence that it's today, rather their main aim has always been to checkmate the igbos.... Their leaders have always taunted the igbos too..Adesanyas daughter telling igbos while in Obasanjos government to face their "okirika business", Obasanjo telling igbo leaders at Owerri that if they want an international airport since they don't like using others airport,he will send immigration to Owerri airport,, Abiola Ajemobi asking why igbos should impose governor in Yoruba just because he thought that Uche Secondus was igbo, Fashola stating that some people who lost the war can't be benefitting from the government of Nigeria more than those who won the war, Tinubu and his wife going on with their 'okoro' rants..Oba of Lagos threatening to drown igbos... You won't find any igbo equivalent of this types making such derogatory statements about the Yorubas..., And that speaks volumes.. |
oyatz:You see how smart you think you are? Immediately after the war, immediately after confiscating almost all igbo property all over the country and bombing every inch of igboland with the help of your masters from Britain, Egypt, Sudan and the Soviet Union, immediately after killing close to 5 million igbos Inna genocidal quest to loot eastern oil, immediately after eliminating almost all igbos through targeted progroms and massacres, immediately after your 20 pounds for any amount left in the banks by igbos and ofcourse, immediately after saddling the whole officialdom with highly unqualified so-called Yoruba administrators post war, you THEN started an indigenization/privatization process and expected the igbos to participate!? You see why the rest of the country see you lot as a very treacherous bunch? This is the only reason why you are the only group begging and crying for nigerias unity today.. Even the fulanis are not so desperately pro unified Nigeria like you guys... |
oyatz:You have to take responsibility for the calamity that your uncles have brought to Nigeria and stop trying to share the blame! You are the dangerous tribalists who less than 6 years after independence, ran back to the same colonialists you chased away to come back and help you fight a war in Nigeria. The British subsidized your oil grabbing war to the fullest but has never left again since then and this country has paid dearly for that as Shell and Co run riot. With the north producing little or no graduates at this time, you saw the unfolding events as great opportunity to hijack the whole administrative set up of the country and all of a sudden, your mischievous leader who once flamboyantly defined Nigeria as a "geographical expression" , became the champion of Nigerias unity, so much so that he was willing to orchestrate the first black on black genocide in Africa to achieve this, thereby providing the template upon which the brutal wars in Angola, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Sudan etc were fought. You hijacked everything thereafter; UAC, LEVENTIS, FIRST BANK, IBWA, UBA, NIGERIA AIRWAYS, NIGERIA SHIPPING LINE, NICON, the whole federal civil service and almost all quotas meant for the locals with the indigenization policies in the oil industry, the finance sector, while creating fake billionaires all over the place with spurious over drafts from the banks.. Most dangerously, you created and introduced to Nigeria, a parasitic brand of elite that became infamous for their hedonistic penchants. That's how we came to become those who block streets for "naming ceremonies" and co.., owambe to wash new car, new appointment, and for burial ceremonies of uncles that died 3 decades ago when the celebrant was still poor! Just as one awolowo started the culture of flying around in Nigeria to campaign in choppers, you created the private jet culture that is responsible for the massive capital flight in Nigeria today as the elite embibe your ostentatious display of profilgacy! Buying houses in London to prove you have"arrived", going for "medical check-up" abroad, spraying money on musicians like drug Lords will do else where. These were all cultural trends set by a highly hedonistic Yoruba elite post civil war, based mainly on looted funds. No wonder almost all government agencies pratically collapsed as a result. |
He should be adding a new set.... He too dey do oyibo... His name a Nchekwube oooo.. and na firstt son for Villa at Neni o. Where is the mum to demand"the fruit of the womb" as they put it in the Nollywood movies |
Creeza:Naaa, stop sketching everything to no end.... Lacking a father figure? What's that supposed to mean? |
Kidgaya:I thought I'm the only one that notices that...he stares at her in a very unraveling way..lol.. starts looking at her like a prophet in trance.. as if to say; this is not happening.... , this will never happen.... And he will immediately add more pressure even if the occasion calls for a retreat... Lol |
Broobembem:He should stalk the living daylight outta tht gal |
T9ksy:The nerve... An Afonja with a fulani emir ruling his land as we speak pointing fingers all over the place.. Fulani masters? Of who? Took one Nzeogwu only 30 minutes to bring all fulani mayhem in Nigeria to a halt! Right there in Kaduna! It will take the rest of the country another 30 months of vandalism to 're-impose' the fulani from whence they were booted out... Those who voted in the fulani in to power twice within the last 6 years only to start forming all sorts of weird groups to save themselves from the same fulani know themselves very well.. |
T9ksy:These are the commandos that are about to send chills down everybody's spine? No wonder babangida said he will go back to sleep if told you guys are starting an uprising..
|
T9ksy:Who is dragging Amotekun with this one? |
laiperi:I'm just speaking for the downtrodden minorities of Western Nigeria.... They are being suffocated by the bigger Yorubas.. Nobody has asked them if they really want to join in this new bizarre republic. |
orisa37:What is the correlatiion between 'self-determination' and "vengeance"? |
If there are no direct severe health implications as a result of the polythene used, the federal government should stay clear! While the consumption of alcohol should be handled by those of age and as such demands regulatory attention, one has to be careful of a fanatical government that seems to take advise from the zealots at MURIC.. Corrupt souls dressed in sanctimonious farcade.. Next, they will ban pork.. |
Yujin:The oba of Lagos has already made his stand on this very clear.... How else do you want it? |
favor914:Lol |
favor914:Your vintage billionaires are Products of import license and waivers or oil thieves... Go and ask Kano and Kaduna how much money the federal ministry of finance pay them every month from oil sales.... Then add that of the almost 100 local government areas in the two states.. meanwhile bayelsa state has only 8 local governments! The state that bears the brunt of oil production! Each local government in Nigeria takes in over 100 million every month! Oil money that is! |
favor914: favor914:Sorry, didn't know Kano and Kaduna were all developed with money from the sale of camels...... At a point in this country's history, you lot will explain how and why Kano state will be getting more money from oil sales than some oil producing states, not to talk of her 44 LGAs that bring in even more cash.. It's there money... Who are you to "give" them their money? Do they drag your receipts from cow sales and cocoa sales with you? |
Igbochief001:You don't know what he is trying to do? Obviously he knows that the law was to take care of the northerners and their solid minerals.. He just tucked in Akwa ibom there to rope in the south so as to dress up the whole thing with a national garb.. |
The generation of igbos that populate the so called world igbo Congress is by far the most useless igbo generation ever. By this , I mean the Orji Kalus, the Okorochas, the Iwuanyanwus, the Arthur Ezes of this world... Very vain, very unproductive politically. So don't let them fool you with their endless unproductive gatherings. To save the igbo, any movement championed by any right thinking igbo, must as a matter of urgent importance, undertake to appraise the danger posed to the igbo man's total well being by the continued relevance of these very dangerous platoon of useless uncles with the ultimate goal squashing the net effects of these corrupt wrecks in igbo politics. Eliminating totally such relevance, in my humble opinion should mark the starting point of igbo political rejuvenation. |
BLAISECAMPAORE:Power comes from the barrel of the gun... |
flyingpig:The solid minerals states should go without any derivation fund for the same period the oil producing states endured theirs..., That way entitled entities in Nigeria will learn the need to be altruistic in the process of decision making. We need to take income from zamfaras gold to develop Calabar as that of the Delta is being used to develop Kaduna and Kano. |
No endless protests to get the attention of the government on this one. The war to get 13% derivation for oil producing areas took almost half a century. Most solid minerals are in the north, obviously that makes such decision making pretty easy. |
So this is the country some people killed almost 5 million people to create!? I mean how do you even start to explain to God that as a Gowon, you had to starve millions of children and women to death just to erect this embarrassing shythole!? Has Nigeria not become the biggest monument of shame to the entire black race?! Why would anyone even kill a fly to save the shameless hellhole ![]() |
meavox:My worry is that the bigger Yoruba may end up swallowing the smaller groups thereby making their culture/languages go extinct. That will give them the same experience they are trying to run away from in a bigger Nigeria. I will suggest the core Yoruba nation go it alone so as to form a harmonious grouping. Let the Aworis take their Lagos. That way, there won't be much misunderstanding in the future. |
