It was the European Americans that saved Europe but this very black man double down on the oppression here.

Efforts must be made to ensure they aren't swallowed up by the bigger Yoruba group there who wants them just for their wealth and land. Since their prominent sons have come out repeatedly to distance themselves from the Yorubas, this should be respected... The oba of Lagos made his remarks openly and seriously. Smaller ethnic groups should be protected.

Nigerians are not even understanding what is currently going on in the country.
There is clear evidence to show that this country is approaching its end unless something decisive and radically different is done.

Firstly, the NE has collapsed, and the NW is following the same part, and afterwards would be NC.

In the South, 90% of our top intellectuals have either ran away from Nigeria or are working towards leaving.

Nigeria is now being run on Chinese loans, and there is no end to the borrowing spree.

All the refineries are not working but billions of naira are being budgeted and spent on them.

Power supply is still hovers around a measly 5000 megawatts for 200 million people.

We are already the world's poverty capital i.e. we are at the rock bottom, yet same poverty is now growing at an alarming rate never seen before.

Anyone who is not afraid about the scary future of this country is living in a fool's paradise.

Events leading up to 2023 will ultimately instigate an avalanche of events that will shake this epileptic amalgam to it's foundation.. Until the emergence of buhari, the fulani did a great job of masking their treu imperial intentions in Nigeria. But you know buhari na... He acts more like a brute with power but always cower without power. He believes quite seriously in the sarduanas goal of dominating the whole Nigeria and if you watch his politics and policies closely, you will notice he is determined on this path. He is most probably going to nominate another northerner to take over from him and maybe change osibande with an igbo lackey. A subtle but clumsy attempt at "devide and rule" politics..That won't fly anymore. .,not even with the Yorubas.

The tension, the acrimony, the anger that will follow, will surely hunt down this country. . . In any event, the country is gone. They over-bloated the civil service with tens of thousands of unqualified personnels and ghost workers from their villages. Now they are spending the whole budget including borrowed funds to pay unproductive workers because they turned the whole civil service into a welfare scheme.... They won't sack the unneeded workers because they have used every improved minimum wage regime as a means to share accruing oil receipts to their ethnic henchmen brimming in different ministries. Even creating fake agencies just to share 'salaries'. No successful country emerged like this..

Nigeria's disastrous fall began in 1972. The so-called fathers of Nigeria were ethnocentrists who didn't have the country at heart except whatever they could milk from it.

In the real sense, it is even Igbos that actually believed in Nigeria and even still do. While Igbos are committed to it, the others are only after what they could milk from it not minding the effects on the country at large.

The rot in Nigeria today is a manifestation of years and decades of economic strangulation by the North and West.

A Yoruba minister during the Obasanjo regime(I think it was the dead former governor whose casket was involved in a plane crash) publicly scolded Bola ige for trying to over do it..... According to him, they were called to "come and chop"! That more or less explains everything about the mentality of the people biulding a common country with you.

Anybody with an average IQ will know that the evil Indignization decree was fishy.

Look at these facts:

Britain helped Nigeria to fight a crucial war.

Nigeria at that point was not in any position to successfully take over and run those companies efficiently.

The war just ended two years earlier and there were several issues that needed to be tackled then.

Yet, despite all these, they hurriedly pushed for a devious Indigenous Decree within a very short time.

The oil majors then , especially shell provided the funds for that war totally. You must have read some of them here gloating that awolowo prosecuted the war in biafra without borrowing a dime as if he was an oracle. The fact is that Shell and co financed the war after a confused Borro helped adekunle to take over Bonny oil facilities. Even the embargo against biafra was done with British facilities. Tht was how they were able to be shooting down red Cross planes. Up till today Nigeria is till paying Britain/foreign oil companies for sponsoring that war. Noticed buhari heading to London after every election nomination? . Tht is how Nigeria became the only major oil exporting country that depends almost entirely on foreign majors for oil exploration.

Even as we speak, there are no meters in major offshore oil facilities. The oil majors suck as much as they want , then will inform Nigeria how much they exported! This has been the case since eons! Even the justice Irekefe panel that probed buhari/Obasanjo in the early 80 about the missing NNPC billions and gave them a soft landing, lamented about this. Yet, nothing was done because to an average politician from the north and west of Nigeria, there is a well grounded understanding that without those oil majors, they would have never had the resources to finance that war.

As at the 90s, managers of such sate corporations as NITEL, NEPA and all the banks in the east and most floor workers were all Yorubas.. The northerners were lacking behind in terms of producing graduates while the east were effectively blokced from participating in running the economy of their Land. Things only changed when babangida moved the capital to Abuja after orkars coup. Most Yoruba workers preferred to stay back in Lagos providing the northerners an enviable opportunity to flood officialdom with their kind. Their war with Abacha helped to accelerate this process. Obasanjo came in and tried to reverse that with spurious privitasation and consolidation policies that favoured them again. Thats how African petroleum, NICON insurance and co transmuted into Yoruba companies.... Inshort both the Yorubas and fulanis are not in anyway interested in biulding any country.. They are simply in a rush to loot as much as possible before their iniqiuteous activities break up Nigeria..

This is why I I get upset when some clever people try to lump everybody together as being responsible for nigerias messy situation. No. A particular group of people are. Since 1966, the Yorubas and their comrades the Hausa fulani have been responsible for driving the course of governance in this country.., only recruiting willing political mercenary from other groups while doing away with anyone with contrary views.. They ran everything down including the NNPC! That's right, NNPC, Nigerias oil Monopoly declared bankrupt at a stage.. Very vain group of people who are ready to loot everything in sight just to buy houses in London and bloclk streets for endless strings owambe show..

You should know by now that Afonja goes to bed thinking about ipob/igbo and wakes up thinking of igbo/ipob. Most igbos don't understand why.. But the fact is that the typical afonja is mortally afraid of loosing all the monumental gains he cornered to himself in this country since the Biafran-Nigeria war totally pushed out the igbos from mainstream Nigerian politics.. This includes their acquisition of almost all the multi national companies like Cadbury etc, the banks that became their playground(at a point immediately after the war, they controlled almost all the banks beause the north had little or no graduates then compared to the east and west lending ceaselessly to Afonja businesses) and a major source of employment for their graduates, their dominant numbers in terms of the work force in the oil and gas industry which all happened because the only group that competes with them in terms of producing qualified graduates then, was totally out of contention.

If you take a very close look, you will notice that most of their billionaires are either oil thieves, ex bank chiefs/their benefactors or renowned looters in government. The only thriving city Afonjaistan is Lagos, a city practically biult for them by Nigeria! The people would have been as "successful" as their cousins in Benin if Lugard didn't fix them in Nigeria! They will pretend they hate Obasanjo but from the bank consolidation through dubious privatizations to infastructural growth like gas pipelines that gave rise to industrial clusters like otta and co, they are enjoying the crooked benefits of the status quo in Nigeria. So when the igbo rail against Nigeria as it is, that strikes fear in them, since they worry that a Nigeria that operates on equal footing will ultimately force them to compete to get all they are getting free now through back room agreements with their brothers the Hausa fulani.

They didn't join the protest when GEJ partially took out the subsidy and they wont join any protest under buhari or any other president.

Forget the statistics from Yemi and his collaborators, the south east has a very strong middleclass that has been able to withstand so many harsh environment for decades.

Lecture them bros.. They created one of the worst living environment in the East post Biafran war and vehemently insisted on destroying the area. Folks simply aclamitised quickly as a means of survival... The rest is history. I have always said that the most ruthlessly dogged African you will ever run into is the igbo and it has little to do with him per-se.. it has all to do with the rugged survival skills he has accumulated over time in the face of ceaseless oppression in Nigeria..

Next, someone will ask you why the SE doesn't want to join to protest against police check points for instance. It conviniently flies over their head that since the end of the war, a police check point every two poles has become the normal practice in the East.. Interestingly, when the east complains about these, the rest of the country shouts them down, only to be confused why the east stays away when they start their funny charades they call protests over the same issues.

The Hans are spread across South East Asia just as the Hausa/fulanis are found in most countries of West Africa. You see them in Ghana, in Nigeria, in Cameroon, in Niger etc. In most of these countries, they play integral roles in the government of those countries since independence. In Nigeria, which is the richest and most populated of these countries, the Hausa/fulani have held sway since independence. They have the reach, the national resources and structure to become some sort of catalyst for massive political/economic development in the sub region.

But what have we seen? It's always fulani herdsmen, ruganomics, cattle rustling, coups , Sharia, name it....., All sorts of mundane inanities! The Hans in China utilized their progressive cultural outlook and their spread across most of South East Asia to propel rapid economic growth in those places. Here, our 'own hans' will prefer cows to humans while instituting most probably the most atarvistic cultural trends across borders. The Hausa/fulani elites owe Africa/West Africa a whole lot of explanations..
