@Op what ever it is you think will work for you o! If you think its the money that will make you happy, fine! But if you think you'll be happier marrying someone you love, then go for it! I have a family friend who is in a serious marriage mess now because she listened to her family and married someone very well to do, because her family is VERY well to do and could not stand her marrying someone of a lesser status.

I am going to give my personal experience though the circumstance are different. We did not date for up to 7 years, just about half of it. But the guy in question was waiting for the "perfect" job that will give him similar millions. At a point he made it clear that he was not ready to marry just yet and then wished for me to find someone who was. Even as much as I loved him and was willing to stay with him, not necessarily cos I was desperate to be married, I had to advise myself and walk away.

I did find someone! One last time, talk to him about it and clearly let him know you can't play a "hide & seek'' kind of relationship. He has to let you know his plans for you, clearly stated out. If it all seems shady, unclear or undefined then you better step. You know the situation more though, and I understand how very difficult it is to disassociate from someone you've shared so much with for that long. IT IS difficult, and you might even find yourself making comparisons and hatching thoughts of going back even after you have left. So if you have to make a decision, you need to be firm on it. And btw, 26 is still young to worry too much.

believe me when I say I was driving on my own jejely. my only offence was not allowing him enter my lane with force. And as per the dealing aspect. lol. Every fellow get where their power reach!

My dear Nairalanders. I just want to share my experience from yesterday.

So I was jejely driving my own on my way back from work yesterday. Unlike other days when I usually drive with my colleagues, I was driving alone. Then this dude who was trying to claim a smart road user decides to switch lanes unannounced, close to brushing my car. In my annoyance, I did an "are you okay" gesture with my hands and drove off.

Knowing how foolish Lagos drivers could drive most times, I didn't even take it to heart and continued driving my own jeje. But to my surprise, as I parked at the next bus stop to get something, this same dude parked right beside me. My glass was a little wound down, and I didn't even notice as several cars were trying to park as well since its a bus stop, then this dude, just in a blink of an eye spat from over his car towards me and then drove off.

Seriously This act was not carried out by an agbero oh, not a bus conductor, not a shabbily dressed pedestrian standing along the road, but by a seemingly responsible, well dressed individual all dressed up in tie and all, obviously heading back home from work. I couldn't help but wonder what kind of individual this dude was, a guy for that matter?! is he a married man with a wife, with a job that probably have people answering to him? I couldn't help but wonder how one could never be judged by looks, cos as much as this individual looked like a respected fellow, he ditched all that by belittling himself so low to carry out such a sick act that only a retard would be capable of. He is probably the controlling type who could not stand a lady making such gesture at him. I couldn't help but feel pity for his wife or gf if he had one.

I told my fiance about the incident and he went mad asking why I didn't capture the vehicle's registration licence. My fiance could deal with someone in ways they won't even suspect where its coming from. And when he say he's gonna do something, he does! Well I wasn't that fast to capture his reg. number and I feel angry that I did not.

Got home and told the security guard to thoroughly wash the car and spray a disinfectant all over the car in and out. His disgusting fluid didn't exactly touch my skin, but I made sure I immediately washed everything I had on and had a thorough bath. I then asked the guard to swipe the disgusting saliva with a tissue paper from my car glass. He is from the Northern part, I narrated to him what happened and he said he would "take care" of the saliva. Good thing the dude left some fluid. Lol

Has anyone experienced such before? or anything close at least? How did you handle it? I was pretty more baffled than angered, because I just couldn't figure how a grown a**s man would stoop so low to act like a childish street thug. We really have a whole bunch of dysfunctional beings roaming the street. And a lot of them surley don't show by how they look. So one really needs to be careful and alert!

I don't believe in having to have done something for a guy not to trust you. My sister was in a relationship like this. We stayed together and I can bet with my life that she was totally faithful to this ingrate of a guy. But what does she get in return? The same way the poster described her guy..with responses like.. "are you sure".. "Hmm".."If I find out you are lying?"..my sis was not happy, I see it in her eyes each time she responds to his calls. Op abeg blame yourself and don't blame your girlfriend. If it where you that found a guy tying towel in her en suited bathroom what would you have done, as in honestly. You gave room for the suspicion by allowing a common sales girl into your private bathroom that you don't even know from Adam.

Allowing her into your house int the first place was a mistake, if your mind was pure. Why didn't you bring out a chair for her to relax in your shaded veranda? Why did you not ask her to wait and quickly tidy up the visitors toilet instead of allowing her use your private toilet? You no even know weather she carry disease or infection that will in turn infect you and your girlfriend.

Abeg be realistic! You owe your girlfriend an explanation and not the other way round, so Mr., do the right thing!

I don't know if scam or fraud is the word to use but I experienced similar with them.Was supposed to register with AA Rescue for driving sessions only, which I did. We agreed on a weekend session (Saturdays & Sundays). This was all penned down in writing and confirmed, and yes they offered to process my drivers licence for an additional cost.

After making payment of close to 40k, they told me they can only afford to take me classes on Monday mornings only. After agreeing on weekends because I work. I asked them straight up to give me a refund. In fact I was at their office for several hours to make sure I get my refund, even after they tried convincing me of paying back into my account. I ensured I get my refund, and I was well on my rights cos they breached the contract.

Eventually got something better for even a little bit lesser, after which the driving school helped processed my driving licence.

Clearing a tokunbo car alone will cost about 200k or thereabout..then I wonder how much and what kind of car you will buy for that low to arrive at 300k
