Chelsea drop and we're back in the race 4 real! First, we have to teach that stupid Villa a serious lesson in Wembley. . . . . I'd luv to see a 4-4-2 formation / Berbatov and Rooney upfront - no gimmicks, no tricks we have to hit 'em hard. Gibson in m/f would be good. . . . love to see some scorchers from him GO UTD - lets pick up trophy #1 |

Oh my. . . . . was expecting a draw but Anyways, from the way Chelsea played against Wolves a defeat couldn't have been ruled out here today but a mauling at the bridge - hard to believe! I said it - they let us in 1ce before & its happened again! |

good win. . . . shaky at first but we eventually got our acts together - great for rooney, really wanna see him win d golden boot, he certainly deserves such a significant personal award, its been a long time coming. @ least, we put some pressure on chelsea. . . . increases the stakes and pobability of a slip come saturday! |

On a very cold, frosty moskova night and hard, frozen pitch; we couldn't have hoped for a better result - not the best of performances though; very scrappy and disjointed. We couldn't get our sleek passing game on and our "flying" wingers didn't have the chance to raid CSKA down the flanks but we held our nerve well when we were under the cush atimes and stood firm. . . . very proffessional display. |

Guess that bashing by Everton was the price we had to pay for the UCL success in the San Siro. . . . painful, but it had to be paid! We can still make a fight of it - Chelsea are not really at their best too else they'd have closed up shop since. . . . we still have a chance expecially with the hope of closing the gap on tuesday & chances that citeh can nick something off 'em at the weekend. They let us in countless times before, they could well again 1 more time! |

Mallorca were surprisingly poor on the night - they've been pretty solid at home all season and the ref didn't really do justice to the game at all. . . . Drago's lucky freekick changed the game completely and some solid defending helped. Having Navas & Perroti is a massive plus. . . when you are a man down, these guys on their game can really make that look insignificant! |

At last we get some breathing space and create a bit of a buffer from the 4th place UCL-chasing pack. . . . Solid win on a difficult away ground and against one of the major contenders for that last UCL spot too. it galls me to be thinking this; but Sevilla FC should be showing a whole lot more ambition than just 4th place all the time  |

@ Sauron, pls be objective. . . . we had only 1 striker on the field and a midfield that was very slow in pushing up into the opposition's box. . . . so half the time, there was only Rooney in th box to aim at - the crosses had to be pinpoint or put in a dangerous for Rooney to have a chance to attack. Nani just played the balls in without taking time to get his bearings. See how well-placed all the 3 crosses that resulted in goals were!? |

I'm still yet to understand why Fergie chose to play young rafael over brown on the RHS of our defence - the defence was always lopsided on that side and sorta imbalanced the entire backline. In O.T, i just want to see the shackles taken off. . . . 2 strikers up top giving em hell - enough showing respect, i think its time other teams started showing us some respect too! lord krato:Well said! |

@ sauron, its not a question of being spoilt - UTD's play can be very annoying atimes; there are times when we just have to be ruthless and shed this notion of showing respect to the opposition. IMHO this Milan team is 1 that should be put away very easily - see what Inter did to them!? The current AC Milan side is very lightweight, they do not have very good options on the bench, their squad is fcu.king aged to near-extinction, their play is pitiably predictable!!!!!! |

Just as it was 3/4 seasons back when Milan came to O.T and lost 3-2. . . . . back then it was absolutely certain that they could overturn it but this time the tables are turned and they have to come to O.T looking for a win - not a very admirable position to be in. We've seen tonight that those tired old legs of the rossoneri cannot go the distance, UTD are surely in the 1/4z. |

Ah. . . . . it was a good day! Drove around town some and watched all the buzz - exhilarating to see so many seemingly happy couples Publicly Display Affections Hung out with a couple of friends, played chess and then proceeded to the mai-suya spot out by the street gate & just watched as the happy, excited lovers did their thing. . . . . . . . & ended the whole day in a splendid flourish by going to watch Athletico Madrid defeat Barcelona that was indeed the icing on the cake for me |

I like the atmosphere on st Vals day in Lagos. . . . . all lively, happy and fun Maybe its cuz am always a spectator and as such do not really have any obligations to any1 or any cause on the day; but there's just an air of "feel good" about Feb-14z well maybe if u're on the outside looking in. . . . like me! |
