Jobs/VacanciesRe: How Have You Been Surviving Without A Job? by RuuDie(m): 11:45pm On Oct 04, 2015
Sylver247:
Unemployment is bad, no that's an understatement! Its a bondage sad. I don't know about others but its not been easy at all. Sometimes I feel for my fellow guys because we feel the bite more, a lady will always get money to take care of herself no matter what, but where will a guy get from? Even your friend, before he agrees to help you ehn, its like camel passing the eye of a needle angry

To fellow male job-seekers, how have you been coping with daily survival?
How do you get money for feeding, moving around, barbing your hair, buying personal effects and all that?
Please share your secrets, maybe others can adopt your method and be better off.
Nice topic...

Well... finally, finally sha. We, the not-yet-made guys should not complain about "ladies that go after or prefer ready-made men" - na their choice!
On the flip-side, those ladies should not complain of "ill-treatment" from ready-made men (including those that recently upgraded from the not-yet-made category) - many of them dey still vex from the fact that they were overlooked when dem never "arrive"! grin grin grin

In summary, when two elephants dey fight, na the grass e go pain pass... the "grass" being good, committed people like my humble sef, safarigirl, MrsPhyno, jomile, Kyrstalxxx, joy1706, adanna... (if I no put ya name, no vex. u can add am put by ya-sef grin)

I think I will go with the school of thought that asks, "why should a man strive to be wealthy just so he can impress or win the affection of a lady (or group of ladies)...?" It just sounds a ridiculous way to want to go about life!

Personally, I have no more demand from a lady I enter a relationship with other than she loves, cares and devotes to me as much as I do her; I wish it was that way for everybody else male or female!

You no know ball. Brugges is a thousand times stronger on current form. Both went into Europa last season and Brugges did very well. Brugges were unbeaten at home in ten matches before we met them. They hardly concede goals.

They beat Besitkas which eliminated Liverpool. Brugges got to quarter final in the Europa.

PSV has a very porous defence. See their performance in Europa last season, PSV were shyte.

nyabinghi:
psv are very poor, no much difference between eredivisie and jupiler respectively. How are these teams faring in europe, even ajax got knocked out by rapid vienna in the ucl qualifiers, United under LVG has been shyte and will continue to be shyte, EPL is in its worst period in europe, its big teams continue to be bashed by average teams, in the europa west ham, soton are out, united, city and arsenal are already in jeopardy in the ucl. The harder we face reality, can't see any of the mentioned teams top their respective groups. Miracles fit happen sha
I will let UEFA answer to y'all officially...

It's not by league.

Are EPL teams not losing to teams from unknown leagues? Teams from Turkey, Russia, Ukraine etc?

PSV were desperately poor yesterday.
If PSV was poor, Brugges must be a natural born pauper!

Well I would say I am happy and excited at the prospect of him doing wonders in a United shirt with what he produced today. But its just one game, he will not to be consistent over a good number of games before we can really know he will come good.

It seems he can thrive on his own upfront because he took on the players and scored on his own.

Now other defenders know him.
On the evidence of what I've just seen, I'd rather have him upfront than Wazza... A gamble, yes. But this one looks highly likely to pay off!

You think DDG is a saint? What if LVG was right? DDG truly wasn't focused, it's written all over the goal he conceded against PSG and he's poor passes in that game. Because LVG has a past about falling out with players does not mean he's always wrong, cut the man some slack abeg.
Against PSG... a pre-season game... Abeg, can we just write off Romero already since he let in one very cheap one in a league match .

And I ask again, why is LVG the only one courting controversy - Di Maria, Falcao, Hernandez, Valdez, Lindegaard, Rafael, DDG - na only am be manager for EPL!?

Ok. Both clubs have put out official statements blaming each other.

Who's do you think is nearer the truth?
I am not even talking about the transfer fall-out. What I am referring to is the initial dropping of DDG because of the "not focused" claim. That is the biggest, fattest lie of the season !

vincente del bosque is already threatening de gea that he will not make spain's squad next year if he doesn't perform for man utd.....and yet ruudie is saying we don't hold the 4 aces? if we can throw £36m at a rookie in france, there's no limit to what we can offer de gea to stay. woodward should get him signed on a 6-year contract with a £300m buy-out clause.
grin

Casillas wasn't Real Madrid's number one yet the same Del Bosque put him in goal at the WC... all that one na posturing!

In the end, just like it was from the beginning... I do not believe that it was DDG that never wanted to play for UTD - I believe it was more of LVG dropping him out of annoyance for whatever reason
So right now, everything still rests solely on if LVG thinks DDG is "focused" enough to play... as was the case when the whole thing started.

That's why I said if I am DDG, I will just chill... DDG will not lack suitors whether he plays for one season or not... worst case scenerio, Athleti will take him back!

LVG is a dubious man - in one month DDG has turned from hero to villain and it is LVG's doing!

The only side of this story we have consistently been hearing whenever there is any player/manager crisis is the manager's... and at this point, I am beginning to believe that it is either LVG is a big liar or he needs special translators to help him communicate effectively!

The sensible thing is to sign a new deal to avoid being treated like a second class citizen.
If I was DDG, I won't sign any deal... As far as I get a guarantee that Real will come (and I am sure he will not lack suitors), I will sit it out and gladly come to the venue every week to enjoy the goal-keeping circus that UTD will produce.

He isn't even on UTD's reserve side and yet still got national team call-up... that in itself should speak volumes!

he can still be offered a new deal before next summer. anything can happen now....
de gea would certainly feel real madrid didn't do enough to get him. they had the entire summer to tie this deal and they waited till the last day. that does not look like they were gagging to get him. united still hold all the 4 aces in this saga. grin
I am afraid you are wrong... we hold no aces! Only Sir Alex can get DDG to sign a new contract - even that is a very long shot!

The main issue now is how oga LvG will handle the situation. De Gea now knows LvG didn't mind letting him go, De gea himself wanted to go, now it seems Madrid seem to have bungled the deal.

Will de Gea be happy cos I believe he had made up his mind and must have even switched off ready to relocate.

Its a dicey one, the issue of him performing cos of the Euros is there!

To answer your question - if Navas puts in a 5star performance at Madrid will they still let him go for their son.
Can Lvg still bench De Gea especially with the way Romero is unsure of himself between the sticks.

I just tire!
Lets forget about DDG... he is NEVER going to don that UTD shirt whole-heartedly as long as LVG is the gaffer!

The one extra season he is potential going to stay could have been a peaceful one if this had been handled well from the get-go.

Spain will still include him in their Euro squad... Madrid will still take him even if Navas turns to super-man overnight and may even be happier to get him on a free next season...
Where does this leave us? An unhappy player on our hands because of unnecessary braggado!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by RuuDie(m): 9:30pm On Aug 31, 2015
I still believe we did not handle the DDG deal well. He could still be UTD #1 right now and move to Madrid next season with a substantial fee (as was the CR7 case).
All it would have taken was to reach an agreement with Real/DDG on this. This isn't the first time we will do business with Real; and I am sure they will agree because they do not really have a "pressing" GK need as such at the moment.

I expected LVG to discuss with DDG, convince him to give UTD one more season - delay is not denial. I think both Madrid and DDG would have been able to stall the move one more season (or at worst, even half a season). Would have given us time to scout a suitable replacement.

Its so obvious the de gea situation is harming us more than helping us, yet we allow it to persist and get a keeper that we all know is obviously not good enough.
Na De Gea own dey pain me pass... I have never in my life heard of a player not being "focused" because of transfer discussions or speculations.
The Pedro we chased for ages, was playing for Barca all the while till the very last day with no hitches. Heck, I am sure he was still putting on an FCB singlet and boxers underneath his shirt and jeans while signing for Chelsea.

To be honest, I was tempted to mount the DJ table but as a fan... how na!?

I am torn, I want LVG out... I do not like the way he is going about the job - but I hate to see my team lose regardless of who the manager is!

Personally, I can seriously take 12 seasons of mediocrity and 'failure' from a Moyes if that is how long it will take before UTD tastes a bit of success again; than a mere 2 or 3 from a Van Gaal. To whom much is given, much is expected!
I can only hope for all our sakes, LVG changes and takes a more "people-friendly" approach to managing this team!
